Last xmas I purchased a 'Ready to Fly" storm 550. All i could get was the led status light to search for a gps... it never locked an the drone never unlocked. First they said 'well when it left here we got it to bind, you must have locked it 'somehow' All I did was follow the step by step instruction manual but to no avail. They ignored my countless email questions about transmitter tests until after Feb when they basically said 'we got your money, deal with it" I even purchased to what was a total replacement of all electronics on The quad... same story. Last time i tried to check it was july when the transmitter died. SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY, GO TO AMAZON or even EBAY but stay away from think rc!

Abysmal customer service; will not honor return of defective goods.

I did not send multiple emails, make a phone call, a video, and spend way too much of my time troubleshooting, only to drive 90 minute round trip to the valley and make bogus claims that one of the $20 product they sold me was defective. It most definitely was, and cataloged by the emails and phone calls I made starting immediately after receiving my delivery.

Unfortunately for me after two weeks of being idle, a partial charge and an 'inspection' deemed the helicopter to be 'operating normally'. It hadn't been, it wasn't, and it still isn't, as a full charge when getting home resulted in a return to its usual out-the-box behaviour of not binding and not flying. Video proof was provided.

Any response by thinkrc will include claims that the helicopter was used and 'damaged' due to visible wear on the blades. The couple of times I was actually able get the helicopter in the air it did lose signal and inevitably crash. I made them aware of this in the first email I sent.

The fact is this company do not side with the customer, take your word, or any additional proof for that matter, and will not honor any refunds, returns, or store credit if they ship you defective items. Needless to say they have lost me as a customer.

Tip for consumers:
buyer beware.

JUST GOT A SWANN XTREEM GRAVITY PURSUIT FROM HH GREGG. THE INTSRUCTIONS ARE VERY VAGUE,
I CONTACTED SWANN FOR EXTRA PARTS AND THEY REFERRED ME TO THINKRC.
COMPARABLE DRONE LOOKS LIKE 1/3 THE PRICE. NOT TOO HAPPY AND NEED TO DO MORE RESEARCH. DID THEY PRIVATE LABEL THE DRONE? SWANN SELLS A LOT OF SECURITY CAMERAS.

This is by far the worst company I have EVER dealt with. I ordered a helicopter for Christmas and when my fiance opened it, it didnt work. I have contacted customer and tech support since January and all they can tell me now is, "Well, since it has been 2 months, we cant issue a refund or send you a new one." I have responded to every email "tech support" has sent me trying to get the helicopter up and running and somehow it is my fault I received faulty merchandise. Plus the lady at customer service was extremely rude. My advice, dont waste your money or time with this company! You will be highly dissapointed!

I have bought 5 helicopters from this company, two separate orders. Received good working helicopters. But in each order one of the remotes were bad. Had to argue with management to take them back. I had to pay shipping. When I got them back they still didn`t work. They mailed me one new to replace the two bad ones. Was told my return time was up. They didn`t have anymore replacements. Guess the two bad remotes they didn`t want back is to replace the good one they still owe me. I Would never recommend this company. NO WARRANTY SERVICE

Listen this Company Sucks... they only care about your MONEY and if you try to send stuff BACK they only tell you why they want take it back.

This site carries a 15 day return policy. Who returns something in 15 days over the holiday season. Toys were not as hardy as described and they won't take them back. This oddity in return policy is not clearly displayed at checkout... you have to click on policies to find it, and it's not even the first thing there.

My name is charles i also purchased helicopters from the company( thinkrc), the first helo was delivered, i was excited, out the box all was well, so i purchase a second, now i have 2 helicopters now, one open 1 still unopened, so i tried the first helo all went well, until time to charge the battery, the mikey mouse charger battery wouldnt work, i reported the problem to the company, their reply was "send back the complete helicopter"why i said, nothing wrong with the helo. I replied, but they held fast, send back the complete package with all the shipping material, they would not pay the freight,( they should have it was a new helicopter, beside on their website they claim they test every thing before they ship...) so i sent the complete helicopter with all the original packing, 2 week later, i get a email stating"we did not recieve the charger and adapter. ( i couldnt believe that at all, the problem i complain about you claim i didnt send it to you. What crap this was...) so we will have bill you for the part,
This company also stated to me "they had a hard time find a charger to test the battery... at their location.

On their website they were out of those products, so they couldnot return the helicopter i found out, but it was my fault they said. Parts were missing from the shippment.so now its call UPS to file a dispute and paper work,( this place thinkrc is a hassle) because of their defective product. This was my experience,, first time buyer,,,,,,

The second helo was return, i was told by an agent for thinkrc the second helicopter also was damaged in shipping i call UPS again, they wanted to know what type of damage was done to the second helicopter. This time another agent said: the box is damaged not the helicopter"and now after hearing some untruths from the first agent i was told by the second "agent i would be hit with a 15% restocking fee..."with this company make sure you read the fine print before you buy ( return policy) because of their defective merchandise i had to go through these hassle... read read read their policies before you buy. With all the fees and return shippments i spent $ 95.00 and no helicopter,,,,, i hope this doesnt happen to you...

IF IT LOOK TOO GOOD read read read before you buy from that site

After opening a dispute with PayPal, I received a notice from ThinkRC stating that they would like me to remove my dispute and would send me the rest of my order. I received the final half of my order today. Dispute withdrawn.

Ordered 3 sets of 4 blades for a pair of helicopters I already owned. I intended to replace all the blades on each helicopter and have one full spare set.
Instead, I received 2 sets of 3 blades for a total of 6 blades instead of the 12 I ordered. I emailed their customer support and have not heard back from them.
I can only assume that this was intentional as the helicopters these blades are made for have a total of 4 blades each, so the minimum that should have been in each packet was 4, so for the packets to come with 3 blades only in each tells me that this company likely never intended to fill their orders properly. Even if they intended to place 4 packets of 3 blades each in the box, that still wouldn't make any sense given that the per packet quantity is 4.
I will be filing a dispute with PayPal.
