Please, believe what everybody else is telling. I have had exactly the same experience. Waiting for my order three months later. It is not possible to contact them (the email service does not work). I don't believe I will ever get my money back, or my order of course. I am going to report them to Trading Standards as well. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!!!
I ordered a clock off this company about 3 weeks ago. After they changed the delivery date several times,I needed to check their credibilty.I took a look at a company review site on the web it was`nt good reading.I suggest you steer well clear of this lot,the money is more important to them, you getting your order is not.Do not touch this lot with a barge pole, your money is well in their basket and you will be out of pocket.Must be off,got to ring Essex trading standards.
you can also report to action fraud and consumer direct.
I ORDERED MY BASKET IN JANUARY - IT IS NOW APRIL STILL NO BASKET AND I CANNOT ACCESS "MY ACCOUNT", AND I BELIEVE MY MONEY HAS GONE. I TOO WILL CONTACT TRADING STANDARDS. DON'T ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE
Below is a copy of an email I sent in Jan 2011
I place an order and paid in Nov.2010 and by March 2011 nothing had arrived and I only finally got my Money back in late April and tha was after 3 reminders
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - copy email follows
"Still have a problem with you customer service
Why has it taken so long to answer my emails?
If you are able to take orders via the internet why not cacellations?
Everything about your site & the service you offer is designed to make life as difficult as possible for your customers who have a complaint about your service.
Your terms and conditions are likewise set up so that you can choose to ignor any consumer contract you have only to charge for goods when they are available to deliver.
I notice from your website/s that there is no route to give accurate feedback of a customers experiences - is it really true thaty all your customers have a 5 star service - I think not.
I do intend to take my experiences to trading standards and the media"

Do not use this company!!! I Ordered 2 baskets in early Jan 2011- 3 months later I still do not have them and have had 13 e-mails putting back the delivery date. Company can not be contacted, they have ignored my complaint letters and I have had to go to my credit card company to get my money back
I ordered 10 x jugs from this company at the beginning of February 2011 for my wedding. The delivery date has changed on my account 8 times, and my latest estimated delivery date is now AFTER my wedding date so I have had to cancel my order.. I have spent £86 in total and I don't know if I will even get a refund! They do not reply to your emails nor do they have a contact telephone number. They are awful and I wish something could be done about them! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!
BBB.com, report them there also they are much more capable of contacting companies and getting you refunds
does the BBB work for UK companies?
i'd say - call your credit card company and file a dispute. then report to trading standards and consumer direct. other brits talk about watchdog (?) and action fraud.
The same thing happened to me as with the previous reviewers: I put an order at the beginning of December 2010 for Christmas gifts (worth 132,60 pounds) while the products were in stock on the website. The money was taken immediately and since then I kept receiving messages delaying the delivery. I've never received the products.
I cancelled this order 2 months later: impossible to join them on the phone, etc... and up to this day (28th March 2011), I still haven't been reimbursed. It's A SCAM.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY as well as with their other companies (brew-it-yourself; the online-beer-company; the online-homebrew-company, etc...).
Rip-off merchants. They take your money immediately, then tell you item is out of stock. You then find they are uncontactable in any meaningful way.
be wary of a business that uses that many hyphens in their URL.
did you contact your credit card co. to file a dispute?
Before I do, I will formally write to them (sent by recorded delivery) requesting a refund.
DO NOT USE THIS FIRM. We paid £58 for a basket at the end of December. The delivery date has been changed several times and I have just received an update stating the delivery date is now 31 December 2018!!!!! I cannot get a reply via email even using the links on their website. I will be writing to them for a refund but failing that will be on to consumer rights. RUBBISH! AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!
wait, seriously it says 2018?
generally websites with hyphens (especially more than 1) should be examined carefully. sorry that you had this happen to you.
Why o why did i not see this page before I ordered! Ive just been on to consumer direct and had some fantastic advice on how to word a recorded delivery letter to this company. you can call your bank and ask for a "visa charge back" and get your money returned by visa. Have waited over a month for my basket already, but i'm so pleased i found this site so i can get a basket from elsewhere befor my wedding - what a disaster. PLEASE do not use this site!
Wish I had seen this site before ordering from this company. They have changed my delivery date so many times. I have now threatened them with reporting them for fraud and they have cancelled my order and say they will refund the money. I am reporting them to Consumers Direct and should my money not be refunded within ten days, then I will report them for fraud
Never deal with this company. Ordered in November, in december they sent baskets which did not fit the description. Have been asking for money back since then. All I get is insulting emails telling me they have passed my query on. They are total rip off merchants.
Please believe previous reviews. This company is atrocious. I ordered a basket in November, my credit card was debited immediately, but surprise surprise my goods did not arrive. I cannot get a refund. My emails and letters are simply ignored. There is a note on the website stating that their staff are always courteous, polite and helpful and like to be treated with respect ! Pity they cannot treat their customers the same way. I do not think I shall ever get a refund. Maybe a call to Trading Standards is the next move, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
You will be a complete basket case dealing with this company, buyer beware, I am a canny shopper (or so I thought) and got stung by this company which is in dispute with my credit card company as we speak.
Do not use The Online Basket Company, from the experience I have had I would not be surprised if they were dodgy. I placed my order for a set of baskets on the 8th of December 2010 and originally given a delivery date of the 18th of December 2010. The money was taken from my account and soon after that the delivery date started being changed. The delivery date was eventually changed 8 times, I finally lost my patience and cancelled the order on the 19th of January 2011. Today is the 17th of February 2011, I still have not received a refund, even though their website acknowledges the cancellation more than 3 weeks ago. There is no telephone customer service, in fact there is no customer service whatsoever, avoid them at all costs.
Be careful of this website. i spent £90 on some baskets a month ago and all i get is emails saying they are discountinued. the phone number on the site is an answering machine and your emails are ignored. i can't get my money back and its so fustrating there is no one to explain why? i feel gutted to have waisted my money.

I also have a problem with this company and have sought advice from trading standards. They stated that I have been told by them that through the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) regulations 2000 as my goods have not been delivered after 30 days, this contract with them can be treated as automatically cancelled and the trader must provide a refund to me within 30 days.
Actually beiong able to get hold of them is another matter. Good luck. If anyone else reads this DO NOT USE THE ONLINE BASKET COMPANY OR ANY OTHER SUBSIDERY COMPANY OF THIS.
I too have been stung by these jokers. Almost exqctly the same issues as other people on this blog. I wish I had seen this first blog before I ordered - I'm now down £68

I had the same problem but with their clock company.I sent a cancellation which they then did not refund so I contacted my bank sending all the printouts etc.Five days later I have my money back after lloyds initiated a chargeback against them.So my advice is to write to your bank. The director of these companies is called Damon Parsons and i think that the banks are fully aware of this fraudster and his activities.Don't get mad get even.

I placed an 0rder for a childs clock on 29th May and I'm still waiting delivery 19 August. These people advertise things in Stock then tell you it isn't. I've lost count of the number of times they have updated my delivery date. I have reported them to Trading Standards Essex .
Anyone having the same problem would be advised to do the same.
Update 7 November 2011.
Eventually the Online Basket Company cancelled the Clock on their website stating they were out of Stock and it couldnt be re-ordered. I immedately emailed them to ask for a Refund but they didnt appear to know the company had posted this on their website, Eventually I got through to them and they said they would reund my money within 10 days. It didnt appear in my Account well over the 10 days so I contacted them again and they said they would look into it and get back to me within 3 or 4 hours. They said this on 3 separate occassions and then they mailed and said the matter had now been closed. I mailed them back and asked if that meant they had sorted the Refund out or did it mean something else. Still waiting for a reply on that one.
I shall keep on mailing them until I get a satisfactory answer.I've been polite when mailing them so as not to give them any excuse not to get back to me.
Thankfully I didnt spend a lot of money with this Company and to be honest I doubt whether I will get a REFUND at all but I shall keep on pestering them
just to see what kind of responses I get and at least anyone who reads this will
see what kind of "Customer Service" they give and I hope it's enough to put anyone off from dealing with them.
Hi Ann - I have reported them to Essex Trading Standards at Southend and they gave me a lot of good advice. Not sure that I can claim back from my Bank because I used a Debit Card and because of the time scale. The amount of money I spent was only about £16 so its nothing compared to what others have lost. I get the feeling this "Company" doesn't have many Staff although they like to give the impression they have. The more people who report them to Essex Trading Standards the better I think. BTW as you probably know they take payments by Sage Pay. I think I have used this Company before to pay fo something but don't know anything about them. I will do a bit more research and if I find out anything will update on here.
Hello again Ann - I don't believe their Feedback either. You can write to Watchdog. They are always looking for this type of story. Found this - You can write to us, at Watchdog, MC4 C5, Media Centre, Wood Lane, London W12 7TQ.
Thanks fo the links, I will check those out.
Anyone wanting to check out esuasion might like to check this website out.
www.Toolhaus.org type esuasion in the received by box. Feedback left on ebay.co.uk.
I have a 'portfolio' of e-mail responses containing all sorts of meaning less platitudes and assurances - it all amounted to nothing. I have put it down to experience and drawn a line under it. This is Damon Parsons Facebook entry http://www.facebook.com/DamonParsons1966?ref=ts feel free to hassle him for a refund via this (although it won't result in anything, but he might find it annoying).
Hi to both of you. I've mailed Safeshop today as the Online Baskets were not on their list of Companies who use them. Gave them all the details and just waiting to hear back from them.
Logged on to my Account with Online Baskets this afternoon only to find they had replied to
some named man via my Account. He'd emailed OB with a query and they had mailed him back to MY Account. I queried it with them and they immediately removed all traces of the emails and didn't answer my email regarding my refund. In fact they had removed all my
ermails to them regarding my Refund and stated yet again my Enquiry had been closed.
What they are doing is illegal. It's Internet Fraud and there is an organization who deal with this kind of thing. They are taking money from people under false pretences. I will search
around and see if I can find their website.
OK found the website I was referring to. http://www.actionfraud.org.uk/report_fraud
This website gives a lot of information but if you don't want to use this site you could always
contact the Essex Police direct.
Just thought I would give an update. Believe it or not I got a REFUND in my Account today.
It obviously pays to keep on at them. I'm still recovering from shock. LOL.
