The Sherlock Holmes Society

Founded in 1951, the society, available online at http://www.sherlock-holmes.org.uk/ has over 1,000 current members, all fans of the original Sir Arthur Conan Doyle detective and his assistant, Dr. Watson.

They produce a journal every six months, meet a couple of times a year, and organise an annual cricket match.

There are occasional pilgrimages to the Reichenbach Falls in Switzerland.
All good fun, and quite, quite mad.
