Claim Your BusinessAs a member I have only had to actually post questions a few times. Most times I been able to simply search for an existing post that describes my same problem and find what I am looking for! SevenForums is the 1st place I look to solve any issues I might have with Windows 7 and 9 times out of 10 I find what I am looking for!... (Drop Mic)
The site admin of this particular forum is a complete Nazi. One mistake and your IP is logged and you're banned forever.

I had signed up for the sevenforums to seek help on how to reinstall Windows because I had purchased a PC that came with a pirated copy of Windows so I wanted to know how I could go about installing a legitimate copy by purchasing a legitimate key. Within 30 minutes, I was banned, for no reason.
I cannot recomment this forum higher than 5 *, otherwise I would.
The way the members show patience in helping you along is amazing!
The tutorials ( handy and clear explication sheets) are professionally put together and easy to follow.
They could print a book as thick as the Bible if they would put them al together!
Big THUMPS UP.

Site is pretty good for answers as log as they come from other users, but point out the incompetence of the site admin and you will get permanently banned in a heartbeat. Guess I will just have to make another account and avoid the reject they have running the site.
After being on the site for two months, I can say that there are some helpful members which want to help you. However, I did something wrong (rep abuse on rules) and what happened? Rep points were down. Doesn't the admin understand a human? Everybody makes mistakes. He should give a second chance (he shouldn't get the rep points down, but notice the one who "violated" the rule that if they continue that, they will have those points down or be banned), but it's out of the question. Not only that, if you want to help others by making a tutorial, you must have it in the right format, flow which can take days to make.
What is my general opinion?
Pros: Helpful members, rich tutorials.
Cons: Admin's strictness to something.
It's good for everyone who doesn't want to be a member of the site, but average for someone who wants to be a member (based on my opinion).
Update (1/5/2015):
After having problem creating tutorials, the site administrator told me not to make any tutorials. The strictness has become too much now. For guests, the site is good. Otherwise, join in at your own risk. If you make any mistakes, be careful. That means 2 stars out of 5. There also was something that I violated too. He said that promoting your YouTube videos is considered spam.
Update (2/5/2015):
I was just going to log in the page. It said that my password was 83 days old, so I had to change it. But when I clicked it, I did it only to find that I was banned.
Conclusion:
If you have any problem that a member also has in the site, look for the answer. If you however want to be a member, beware of the administrator (even though they are two, I didn't find the other one annoying, in this case John (z3r010 username in the site)). Shawn (the other admin, who has the username Brink), in my opinion, is one of the worst persons I have ever seen online.
I have been a member of the Seven Forums many years now and it has become a part of my online existence. Whatever issues I might have with my Windows PC, I have always found help.
I find it quite funny that reading these reviews I see people complaining about they being banned. The forums rules are really simply and there to keep this huge community of over a third of a million members functioning. For instance, the site is strictly against piracy and any discussion about it quite often ends with a member being banned, but this is as it should be. A clear violation leads to consequences.
I like the Seven Forums especially because it's so clearly a WYSIWYG site. Logging in every morning I know what to expect, first class help and tips from a nice and friendly community.
