Wish I'd read the reviews of others before I ordered from Rue La La which has been a total waste of time and money. Very slow & inefficient and the so-called customer service link is useless - they just lie. In the end I've received something that did not arrive in time, is not what I wanted, and cannot be returned. The whole experience has been horrendous - stay clear!

Please be careful with this website. They sent me a damaged or defective ysl sandals. I tried to at least exchange it and they refused it. After one wear logo came off, and I have a same pair in brown for 2 years now and this never happened. They are scamming people
Horrible customer service. Charges you, never ships product and reuses to give money back tells you keep waiting - three weeks! Uses your money to float their bank account.

I've placed a few orders on this web site. I had a very strange thing happen a few days ago. I was looking at the item and it was $112.00. When I placed it in my cart, the same item in the cart was over $200. I called RueLaLa and the customer service person ("Glory") explained that the prices fluctuate and she wasn't able to do anything. I took a quick screen shot of the lower price and Glory told me to submit it to the customer service email and I would be refunded the difference. I was worried that it wouldn't happen because they have so many terrible reviews, but I did receive an email today that the difference was refunded. In addition, an item that I purchased dropped in price and I was given a store credit. The items that I have received in the past were in good condition and they are authentic. This business is like the Gilt.com outlet. They are related to one another and both require you to be a "member" in order to do business with them. The prices can be good, and if you are willing to wait, they will usually get better.
I'm disappointed to see products on their site that are found elsewhere cheaper.
They have a toy targeting game that they claim is worth $300. They sell it for $50.

I'm really surprise of all the negative reviews because everything that I have purchase with Rue la la was and have been real and not fake. Real bags, great jewelry and skin care products. My only complaint is when it comes to getting a refund, you have to wait too long, like 3 to 4 week. I can admit, they are no QVC, HSN, Evine Live, etc. as it relates to getting your money back. Because of that, I will give Rue la la 4 stars.
I have called numerous times to ask about things. They always picked up in a timely and friendly manner. Today I talked to Heather and she was more than willing to help me with my return. She was so friendly to the point where I feel so comfortable buying from this company! I Noticed a lot of bad reviews here but If it were me, I'd give this company a chance bc my last 3-4 experiences in the pas 6 months have been superior!

I purchased a Christian Louboutin sneaker from them on Jan 23. After wearing it twice, the CL Paris label fell off. I went to the CL store and asked for suggestions on which repair shop I can use. The store told me the sneaker is fake. So I called Ruelala. They told me it's over their 90 days warranty and there is nothing they can do (now is July). Lesson learned... this site sells fake goods. I spent about $800 plus tax, I should just buy it from Neiman and pay $200 more for a real one. Don't buy from them!

I made an order. First - size was run too small. Rulala do not notify about it.Its happened very often. Need return and again pay shipping or stick with credit. Second - after 5 day one item I got, went down on price. I ask for the price match. They don't want to do it - "big policy" -they don't want work with price. Greed. You bought - that what you have. Rulala have a lot of issues.Not worst to shop with.
Bought a Lancome Lip gloss from them. Came well packaged. Not goopy, like something old would get. Came quickly. Still waiting on the mascara I ordered at the same time. Definitely happy with their service. I like that you have a month of free shipping after you pay for shipping just once. Great service.
Got a wrong size jacket. One rep told me either it was a mistake or when ran out of the size and sent me another size. Whattt? They offered a $50 credit for the inconvenience. Yeah i will shop there really soon. What a waste of time spending on phone for unhelpful responses.
I actually really like RueLaLa. I have shopped there for several years and have not had the same bad experiences as the others. It is hit or miss as to what you will find and you do have to watch the prices. Sometimes they will advertise something as a deep discount and if you google it you will find it on another site for the same price or even less. I do think they inflate the original price sometimes. But I will say with a lot of the clothing that I bought, the original tags are on there with the MSRP and I do feel like I have gotten some steals. The best deals are the final sales and they do make it clear when something can't be returned, so you just have to decide if it's worth risk. I have never felt that I received anything fake from the site and I have ordered a lot of jewelry and clothing over the years. The shipping is high, but they they do give you free shipping for 30 days after paying the $9.95 on the initial order. They also offer deals throughout the year where you can get free shipping for a year. They normally offer it for $50 but if you hold out they will reduce it to $30 which is a deal in my opinion. The shipping times can be long for some items, but the site does clearly tell you when they anticipate shipping the item. I never had an issue with Customer Service either. The few times I have reached out to them, they have always been helpful. My only complaint, and the reason why I would not give 5 stars, is that I have had a handful of orders cancelled on me over the years. This is always frustrating and baffles me how this can happen. When I click on the "buy now" button, I expect to receive the item and not get an email later saying that the item is not available. It has left me wondering at times if I will actually get what I have ordered. But overall I have been pretty happy RueLaLa.
I purchased 2 Thairapy 365 blowdryers from Ruelala and what I received were incomparable to the one I currently have. The ones from Ruelala are FAKE! They were heavy, noisy, without infrared light for scalp and folicle therapy! Do not buy from this site!

I always go crazy when it's sale time at this site. They have great offers. Great customer service and product quality make me a happy customer.
If something doesn't fit and you have to return or exchange it- they CHARGE you shipping AGAIN. And if you received free shipping with the original order- they take that back too. So instead of charging you 9.99 for the return- they charge you 19.99. So you LOSE money by ordering with them. Find another site.
Your only other option is for a store credit and with big ticket items- it isn't worth it to have hundreds of dollars held by their site.
I ordered two watches and only received one, but was charged for two. They couldn't tell me if there was another one available and that they would issue a refund in 2 to 3 weeks. I still am getting email surveys about the order of two watches, which I keep telling them I only received one.
They sell fake. If you go do more research you will know I am not the only purchased fake good. There is great amount of people purchased fake. The worst case is the one I brought was new. I only found out now that I try to resell it. Don't be fool like. Used a fake bag for a couple years.

Long time major customer of RueLaLa - numerous shipping errors, wrong items shipped, damaged items, lack of follow through from customer service. For example; RueLaLa is placing a value of $120 on items that are picked incorrectly with an MSRP of $25. I unfortunately ordered three of these for gifts with different addresses. Only part of the order showed up. Every order is now an issue. It's exhausting to try to correct all of the errors. I'm deleting the app and looking elsewhere. I purchased about 250 items a year. I purchased a leather handbag for $99.99. Original price was $400. The zipper was super cheap quality. Then after using it for only a few weeks, the strap broke. I emailed their customer service and was told because the purchase was more than 30 days ago they couldn't issue a refund. The handbag was definitely not worth the original $400 price or even the reduced price of $99.99. I have better quality handbags that cost me $30 at Kohl's! I will never buy from Rue La La again!

I ordered over $2500 of home decor. Fed Ex left some of the at the wrong address. The rest was never found. This includes 2 rugs & some wall hangings. Loss Prevention said "too bad". I have photos of items & Ring door bell as proof. "Dispute it on your credit card" is the only advice they had for me. Theft!
I've shopped in Rue La La for more than 2 years, and to be honest I'm pretty satisfied with it. Their customer service is pretty responsive and good, an example would be there was one time I made an order, but soon found out the size is wrong, I tried to contact the customer service and cancel the order, and they replied within 5 minutes and helped cancel the order without charging my card! However I've never purchased any expensive items except for a Ferragamo bag for my mom. Super good quality. I'd say I'll try not to purchase "big" item from it just to be more cautious in the future, considering all the comments I've seen about it here.
The worse compony to buy anything from. They don't take responsibility for delivery service they use and make you pay for packages you don't receive. FedEx is horrible but they still use them. Even after I had proof they still wouldn't do anything about it. Disgusting. Don't buy anything from them. You can get it for same price at the original store and have better customer service.

I used to buy here regularly and generally pleased. Site has gone downhill, clogged with merchandise. Still believed they sold authentic designer items until last week. Bought a pinko 'leather' belt that was garbage and looked like it made out of polyurethane plastic out of the box. Labels attached made to look like designer label actually said 'fabricated in China' and "100% polyurethane". No response from them yet pinko brand is all over their site still!
Great service. All items were as described and even better than expected. Timely shipping. I am definitely going to order again. Just wish there was more makeup sales and free shipping when you order a certain amount like 75 or 100 dollars would be nice. However overall would recommend.
