With my experince I had a lot of fun with it I would read 10 books a day at once the stars are addicting and I got to flex it in 3rdish grade, you can spend your stars buying stuff for your character, spaceship, or pet. If you want to do good you can donate stars to give food to people. Overall very addicting site much better than what IXL has to offer.
Sentence unscramble has bad volume so children do not even know if the words they use are right, while even inter-changable words that sound the same are wrong. It upsets several people in my class, including one person who got a temper tantrum and threw his computer out the window, into a teachers head and knocked her and the computer in the lake, due to how many questions and words their were.

The website is horrible! My 7 year old isn't able to find the books she is required to read. I have to google the book and then login to find the books on your website. The categories for these books are incorrect. If children are using this website it needs to be more user friendly!
I am a parent of a child who was assigned this program by the teacher. Books are so-so. Like the audio function of students being able to have a sentence read to them to aid with pronouncing words. But you can't turn off or modify the reading audio so that you only have the word read if you scroll over the single word. It just reads the whole page or sentence to you. Program seems to encourage listening comprehension, not reading comprehension. Like the fact there is a quiz. But am mortified that the program for emerging young readers admits to deleting all correct quiz answers and forcing students to redo work after following the prompt in the program to correct answers. If you try to correct an answer more than once all the correct answers are deleted and you have the read the book again and take the test all over again. There is no warning about deleting correct answer. This is is sure to create testing anxiety, and a disincentive to trying to correct quizes.
My teachers make me use this and it sucks so much, they have the most boring books EVER! If your a teacher reading this please don't make your students suffer and don't freak'in download this piece of garbage. I hope the people who made this read my review and actually put real books on this.

As 1st grade teacher in a 100%Language Immersion School(Spanish, we also have French and Chinese)consider raz-kids a wonderful option. You can find Translations to Spanish, French. Excellent, everybody wins: teachers, students and parents.
Raz kids is very boring and none should like it there is no search bar and its so slow it takes up to much internet and its a trashy website and most of the books are fake
The page for all the books don't turn and there is NO SEARCH BAR this it the worst site ever and is very slow.
So I am in Ms. Mahoneys 4th grade class and Im working on the water cycle and I was about to finish it and I press "End" it keeps me stuck on the screen and I have been crying the past two days so can you fix it, Please and thank you. PS: It keeps removing my progress -Jason Carbajal
As a 2nd grade teacher in Math, I have tried Raz-Kids and Beestar for my students for their independent learning time. Beestar provides more test practices for students that allow them to be more prepared for school tests. I also recommended my co-workers and parents to use Beestar.
When I write a book and publish, it just disappear! Even when I write the second book!

The reading a-z is very very boring. BUT THE SCIENCE A-Z PART IS SO CRAP IT MAKES ME WANT TO SCREAM IN THE MIDDLE OF CLASS RIGHT NOW! IF YOU HAVE AN ASSIGNMENT AND YOU CLOSE OUT OF THE TAB, IT COMPLETELY RESETS THE WHOLE ASSIGNMENT! I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT A SINGLE BIT!

Raz-kids was great in that there is audio available but the content felt a tad bit too simple for my students. We use Beestar instead for more classical stories, grammar components and test practices.
This site is GREAT for my daughter who is home schooled and has difficulty with reading, comprehension, and retention. It make my job so much easier! LOVE the site!

If you don't want to read just earn stars in reading the book wait 5 seconds for each page or if you want to grind go to level up and read there sometimes there are the same books in level and in the reading. But you should use level up more bcause if you finish the level you get 300-700 stars which is a lot compared to your average 150 stars you usaully get.

My son used this site during Covid shutdowns last year, we read both English and French, he progressed very nicely, he worked his way up from the basics of reading to more complex reading. No complaints, it is a helpful and they made it fun to read - my son did a great job and continues to be good reader. He posted a youtube video of his experiences using the fun site:
