I've placed multiple orders and have been very pleased with the price and service. Communication was also good. I did have a small concern with the silver finish on one of the mouthpieces. This was not a problem caused by Pro Winds. They responded quickly and went above and beyond to resolve my issue. I'm very satisfied and I'll definitely use Pro Winds again.

This company never answers the phone. The recording says all customer service agents are busy. I don't think they have anyone working in customer service. They never call back after you leave a message. I did get an email about the status of the order, but that stopped too. I think this company is a fraud. Do not buy anything that you expect to receive. You will never hear from them. They said they were processing the order on October 6th. Are they walking to over?

Over a month now, order status "pending", no replies to emails. Don't! Only a 60 dollar (or so) mouthpiece but going to have to fight it, etc to make sure these a holes don't walk with my dollars. DON'T!

My order did take some time to arrive, but this wasn't the problem with ProWinds. Their supplier was late. The unfortunate reality is that a music company such as this is at the mercy of suppliers. If they are slow, then the company in front takes the blame. I got in contact with them directly (best through their web site chat) and they made good on my order. I would do business with them again.

I recently ordered a beautiful Selmer Bass Clarinet and ProWinds had the best pricing. I spoke to the owner in person and he was generous and knowledgable. While I typically try to buy from a local music store, on this the price difference was significant. Thank you, ProWinds, for making my retirement dream come true!

I purchased a mouthpiece for a student and six weeks later I'm still waiting. No indication they were out of stock and I even paid for expedited shipping. Not one communication from Pro Winds about my order. They take the money and run it seems like. I'll never do business with them again! Horrible service!

I'm guessing the low prices are contributing to the problem - Pro Winds doesn't seem to have the employees to proactively communicate with customers about their orders if something is not in stock. It's also counterintuitive that the owner would spend all that time dealing with customer questions about their missing orders via phone and e-mail, when he could instead communicate information on backorders upfront, along with a projected ship date. Not good business practice.

I had ordered "Fusion Urban Flugehorn Bag". Pro winds had the best price, I received it within one week, its a great place to order any online items, and I am very happy with their service and I have no hesitation to share this site with my friends and colleagues.

I ordered a trumpet folder for my son's band camp that was supposed to arrive within 1 to 3 business days. I paid almost the price of the product for this to ship soon because his band camp started the following Wednesday. The actual product didn't get to us until Friday afternoon the following week. I'm so glad we had a local store that had what he needed right away. I did reach out to customer service and sent them the USPS number that we shipped the product back asking for a refund. No one has responded to me about this refund (I have emailed multiple times and left a voicemail - all unanswered) and we are very disappointed. I'm not even sure we will get our money back. I do not recommend this place.

I ordered a mouthpiece January 7. It is now June. I have reached out to their customer service trying to find out what is happening and it's obvious at this point this is a complete scam:
1/7 I ordered the item.
1/23 I emailed to find out why it had not arrived. I got a response from Dean in customer service stating we should receive it in two weeks.
2/24 I emailed asking for an update on what is going on.
2/24 I received a response again from Dean stating it "will ship out the minute it arrives"
3/7 I emailed asking for an update on an ETA. No response.
3/10 I emailed again
3/14 I emailed again
3/20 I emailed again and then called them at *******907. I was told they "just spoke" to the manufacturer CEO and will be receiving shortly. Again told two weeks.
4/15 I emailed for an update. Dean responded that they just met with the CEO and the product should be in their warehouse "in the next few days"
5/5 I emailed requesting shipping information. No response.
6/1 I emailed again.

Do not buy from them. Nothing will be coming. I'll be filing a complaint with the BBB if I can ever find an actual address for this "business". The lack of a physical address anywhere on their website or email responses probably should be a clue but I missed it. I'd give zero stars if that was an option. Worst online buying experience I have ever had - total fraud.

This site is a scam. Don't order from them. Go to your local music store and order what you need from a reputable business.

Placed order almost a month ago and the delivery status of item is still pending (not shipped yet). Company will not give updates on status of item unless I badger them multiple times. I do not recommend doing business with this company unless there are no other options.

I ordered Bari Sax case on April 20,2022 and paid for it with a credit card. As of June 10,2022 I've not received it.
I spoke with the owner Dean 3 weeks ago and he assured me it will be delivered shortly. I've left 2 phone calls this week for someone to return my call and give me information like tracking number, carrier etc. and haven't heard back from anyone. I'm very disappointed.

Ordered and paid for the case on April 20, 2022 via phone call. Still haven’t received it. Talked to owner who said it will be shipped in the next few weeks. Haven’t heard anything yet even after leaving 2 phone calls for someone to return my call and give me some Info.

My husband recently took up the guitar so I thought he would enjoy having a music stand to hold his music rather than resting it on a table. The stand arrived and he loves it! It is both practical and beautifully made. Dean, the owner of Pro Winds, was incredibly helpful and made the buying process easy. His professionalism and experience in the business made the process easy. I totally recommend doing business with this company!

Only gave 1 star because that was the lowest option. Paid $80 for a neckstrap. 2 weeks later, I called and he said it must have gotten lost in the mail. He said he would send another in the mail. He did not. Called again, promised he would send another out and give me the tracking for it. He DID do that and funny enough it conveniently got lost in the mail... again. I ordered the first one end of June. It's been two months. I could have used that neckstrap for gigs the entire summer. NOPE! Ordered the same thing from Amazon and got it two days later.

I have done business with Pro Winds for several years and the products and service has always been satisfying and pleasing. My calls have always been returned if I leave a message. Mr. Dean also makes sure that the mouthpieces are of top quality that are sent to you. Thank you

Do not buy from this seller. If you return an item during the trial period they will try not to refund your money either way. If you fight for your refund, (which you should) you'll might have to wait a long time to receive it. You might never get your refund. Check out their review on the BBB website also. This people won't answer their phones and wont reply to messages or emails. Do not buy anything from prowinds.com Take your business elsewhere. I don't recommend this place. FFF

This business have many complaints for not refunding money to customers. That practice is a crime.

After reading a lot of reviews stating the service and delivery times were a problem with Pro Winds, I regretted ordering a Tom Crown trumpet practice mute from them. However, I emailed them with my concerns and asked whether the mute was in stock and would be shipped in a timely matter. Dean emailed right away to say the mute would be shipped out the next day and that I would receive a USPS tracking number. Within 24 hours I received the tracking number and 8 days later I received the mute. I was impressed with the great price which is why I ordered from the Pro Winds in the first place, the prompt reply from Dean addressing all my concerns, and how quickly I received the product.

I ordered from them many times. My last order, they back ordered my saxophone ligature. I communicated with them and they advised me that they had not received it yet. I waited and waited and as of this date, I still have not received what I ordered. The most interesting part is that they completely failed to respond to my inquiries regarding my purchase nor did they issue a refund.
Will never purchase from this company again! POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!

I placed an order with them in October 2020 and have not received my order. I called a few weeks after placing the order because I had received no communication beyond the initial placement. They said that they were waiting on the manufacturer to fill the order. Now after 8 months and no response at all to two voice mails, I am still waiting.

It's a shame that the minimum rating is 1 star, rather than zero.

*** Update ***

I received my package from them today (6/3/2021). It appears to be complete. As others have pointed out, they really need to communicate with their customers: Give estimates on how long an order may take; send updates via email; answer their phones; and return/reply to customer queries.

Even 8 months for delivery would be acceptable to me (I was in no rush), provided there was some kind of feedback/updates.

Tip for consumers:
Product was ordered, paid for, but never delivered. I left at least two voice mails that were never returned.

The company itself doesn't seem to be a scam, necessarily, but good lordt, be prepared to wait a LONG time for your stuff and not hear any updates. I contacted them by phone and it just rang forever, so I emailed them instead, no response. I placed an order September 21,2021, and on December 15,2021, I received only half my items. Do not buy from ProWinds.

I purchased a Bach Strad trumpet maintenance kit over 6 weeks ago from the Prowinds online store. My credit card was charged and paid within days but I still have not received the product! I have tried several time to call the number on the website and also on my credit card bill but can not reach anyone and no one ever returned my message. I'm not sure this is a legitimate business. It seems like a scam. Credit card billed and you never hear from them again. I would not recommend using this site let alone buy an expensive musical instrument from them. I'm glad I only got scammed for a maintenance kit! That's a sad statement isn't it?!?!

I placed an on-line order for a Bach Trumpet Case from Pro Winds because they had the best price. After having already placed the order, I started to read some of the negative ratings and became alarmed. I decided to try and cancel my order. I called and spoke with Rep Dean, he explained that the case was not currently in stock. I told him I wanted to cancel, he then explained that it was due in two days. He said he would gladly cancel if I wanted to. He did explain the supply issues that all companies are experiencing. We agreed that I would wait to see if it was received. To my surprise Dean called before I expected to hear back, he advised that it had arrived and would be shipped out. And that he would advise me the tracking number. He did just that. I received my case today as promise. I could not be happier; the case is exactly as advertised. I am very impressed with the company and its Rep Dean. I look forward to my next purchase from Pro Winds. I am very glad that I did not depend totally on negative ratings. My experience was a great one.

Ordered a number of items. Was never told that two were back ordered (was for a Christmas present that I wasn't able to give). After 2 months and multiple calls (getting the run around) trying to find out an eta on the product I asked for a refund. Was told it would happen that night. Nothing. Sent another email 5 days later. No response. Called yet again and the owner was rude. Received a refund approx 2 and I/2 months after purchase and only after several calls and emails. Not worth the hassle. Buy somewhere else.

Be very careful when buying from this company. While it is true that the site advertises high-quality products, the dependability of the owner to send you what you pay for is debatable. Some receive what they order. Some do not. This was my case. After I placed my order (about $500), I noticed the chat option was no longer available on the site; my emails were also ignored. After receiving small parts of my order and no updates (tracking #, estimated delivery date, etc.) about the rest, I was starting to feel uncertain about the company honesty. I decided to send back most of the products I had and asked for a refund on them and those which I had not yet received. This shouldn't have been an issue since the refund option was part of the company policy for my order. After about a month or so of trying unsuccessfully to get ahold of Dean or anyone at Pro Winds to help me get my money back, I finally called the bank and got my money back. The way things were looking, I doubt I would have been able to get my money back if I hadn't called them.
