Great site for educating people about the importance of hormones in aging women and and overall great site on women's healthcare. They have compiled a great resource and I recommend this site to women looking for more information on health concerns ranging from breast health to menopause

Marilyn F. Rod, this isn't a bad place to start, but I don't like the subtle boosterism for HRT. I'm not convinced that HRT is really a safe and desirable treatment - after all, menopause isn't a disease, and it's never been treated as one until the last few decades. I chose to forgo HRT and found many ways to manage menopause on my own. I know women who started HRT when they were perimenopausal, which doctors frequently recommend. I think this is a bad practice.
Rod G. That is a good concern you bring up. You are right that HRT is a very complicated issue and it takes proper training to do HRT right. I doubt any website could really properly explain HRT and all of its complexities as it is so individual to each person. For most people interested in learning the risks and benefits of HRT, the book I generally recommend is this one by Dr. Pamela Smith.
