I've absolutely no idea what the men are like but the vast majority of women are out of shape and look at least twenty years older than what they claim to be (and that's being polite).

Underwhelming and depressing were my immediate thoughts of this unfriendly dump.

There are also an incredible amount of fake profiles which seem to overwhelm the people moderating the site.

Pof is just full of single moms who all can't wait to tell you their children will always come first, but they expect you to make them your top priority and be happy to settle down with another man's children. If the children are that important why aren't they still with the father?

There are Lots of people who can't be bothered to say anything, apart from how they can't see likes or how time wasters need to keep away.

This site is horrible. Lots of fake accounts and scammers. I have no problem calling it out or reporting. I'm the one who gets penalized because they close my account and don't even say why. So some scammer gets mad at you and reports some stupid lies and they believe it? They need to get their crap in order and do a better job at stopping the fakes. I don't recommend this awful site

If you sign up be prepared to see 'CAN'T SEE LIKES MESSAGE ME' virtually all the time as an introductory headline

It never enters their tiny mind that everyone else says the same. It never enters their head to pay for the site. Surely if you're that determined to find the man of your dreams you'd be happy to pay a few quid.

I have noticed that 90% of the men on POF is 50 years old, come on men put your current age you will stand a better chance of finding someone, be honest some looks like great grandfathers but they are 50. This site is very disappointing looking at all those exposed tattoos and shirtless men. Ladies you can do better I came on this site to see what was available but to my surprise there was nothing. This site is like a box of chocolate, you never know what's inside. Good luck ladies.

When you sign up, you get 50+ views and Likes within 24 hours…then, as soon as you pay, everything stops.
I see profiles with images from 2008 on here….utter BS!

The females on POF all seem to believe they are princesses. They will only reply if you have the 6/6/6. Six figures in the bank, six feet tall, and a six-pack.
The hilarious thing is that they are the exact opposite of what they demand.They're short, distinctly average,and out of shape.

If you do find a decent woman she'll be sent that many messages by simp thirsty men that she'll be totally overwhelmed you won't get a reply.

There must be at least an 90% ratio of men to women, which means you'll be competing with thirsty, desperate men all the time, and that renders it pointless. Secondly, there's very few decent women on there anyway. Even the very best online would only be classified as middling offline, and the rest are truly mediocre. Wanted M4M matches 33% of them were Female, sent snips of the profiles or':Recommended Matches, no action take and when I canceled the photos and were still there, meaning no room for new and correct matches.I also cancelled to avoid a renewal and the remaining month of access was also cancelled. I feel taken and wonder if there wasn't a homophobic aspect to this. My headline was specific and stated that while I respect everyone's' right to have their life as they need, I only wanted CIS (M4M) matches. Very very disappointing experience and customer service experience.

I was extremely disappointed in Plenty of Fish. I paid for this app yes I was so dumb. The scammers came through by the droves. First they kept asking me to get back on Whatsapp, Google Chat and my email. I quickly learned that is very common for scammers. When I felt comfortable talking we exchanged numbers texting and talking. Now I found that 4 out 5 were false identity and blocked them. The one who put it over the edge was I had texted, talked and eventually met a couple of times. After the last time we saw each other I just knew something was really off so I did my own research. This man not only went by a fake name on POF, he said he has been divorced for 5 years of which was a complete lie. Ladies he pretends to be a real cowboy and yes he is good looking. Don't fall for it! P.S. He lives in the San Bernardino mountains.
Well now I'm off POF and all dating sites. Being a widow just makes me appreciate my late husband more. Ladies be careful!

I've never seen so many one parent families in my entire life. All telling you how their children will always come first + how you must impress /make them laugh. I didn't see anything of what they would bring to a relationship

Add in the fact there's probably 500 men for every woman and you'll see what a total waste of time it is. The people on there are truly horrendous yet seem to think they are deserving of a prince charming.

I can honestly say I've never encountered so many people with issues in my life. It's just riddled with ignorant egotistical people full of their own self importance.

There are way too many messed up people on POF; it's terrible. I sent nothing but polite messages and got some of the nastiest replies I've ever seen.

Honestly, please don't waste your time. You'll be dealing with people who lack kindness and social skills. If they act this poorly online, can you imagine what they are like in real life?

Most don't seem to have a personality either and are either unemployed or are dog walkers yet want a man with a great job and who makes them laugh.

I just want to find someone to kill time in lockdown, however always meet scammers. That is a good way to make scammers more active.

Please do not use this site as it promotes slavery in Asia. It is well known that Asian gangsters employs slaves for the massive amounts of romance scams on this site.

POF is a great example of the quality of person you get on a free dating site.
