I have purchased countless facial products which claim to lessen wrinkles, fade dark spots, even skin, tone, etc.… I am 64 years old and I've spent a fortune over the years from drug store to high end facial products. I began using platinum skin, care with their peels and then moved into their facial products. I have been extremely satisfied with every product. The fade and bright is an excellent product for dark spots and the eye cream will do wonders for crows feet around the eyes. In addition, the prices are phenomenal and they run many great specials. I highly endorse there products for anyone with mature skin.

“Post purchase support with missing parcel non-existent”

They sent an international parcel without an international door-to-door tracking number. Parcel is missing and I cannot trace it. Since 11 January and it is now 14 February. I have emailed Jen at Platinum Skincare, but she honestly could care less. I have asked her for the waybill, because I reckon if they send it without a tracking number, why do they even tall me to insure the thing at point of purchase, it cannot be traced for goodnessakes. Honestly, from the point of purchase, third parties get involved (insurer and verifier), and after that you are on your own. I have emailed several times and nothing has been forthcoming. All pretty and charming upfront, and vacuous and non-existent after the purchase. I will never buy from here again.

First purchases TCA 13% and 20% series to DIY face peel, with Prep B (strong alcohol solution to clean face immediatley before peel).

Detailed, clear, all you need to know instruction provided via video, leaflets, and online info.

I started with 13% since I've been using glycolic 7% toner over a year, as well as other gentle acids. My skin is pretty hardy too. And, I am impatient and wanted to see results immediately. Recommend starting at lowest percentages of peels if you aren't familiar/using acids.

Supposed to start with 1 layer, I was able to tolerate 3 first go (again, confident due to my longterm prepping for peel).

Peel progressed pretty much exactly as Platinum's instruction/guidance had prepared me for. Did not have major peeling, but definitely shed a lot of skin overall.

Could see results after 1st peel though the best of which I expect will come later since peels have prolonged benefits, and expect cumulative effect after I've worked skin through 13% before stepping up to 20%. Most noticeable effect at this stage, skin feels silky soft.

Ordered Luminosity Peel Booster tester to add to second peel to up peeling-another bonus of Platinum-good sized samples with orders so can try recommended items out. Also Emu oil sample. In middle of second peel right now so can't review Luminosity properly, but the Emu oil feels divine after doing 1st arm peel. Look forward to using this w/ future peels, will buy full-size.

I have some minor melasma (brown sun spots) and didn't use the Fade Bright the first time, but purchased it for this second peel so used that beforehand. Not sure how I feel about it yet, melasma takes long time to treat, but feels good on the face after application, and happy with other products so far, so expect the same for that.

I did splurge and join the VIP when I saw shipping cost was about 10$ and 20% savings on products I was purchasing was 10-15$ so already with one purchase with discounts, I will save more than 65$ a year, since I expect to buy more of their products. I'd always suggest trying products out first because you might not have same experience.

Caveat-Skin care is very individualized, tons of factors determine its reactions to diff. Things.

Most of my skin care comes from The Ordinary. Unbeatable prices, and simple & straightforward ingredients. I won't be getting whole Platinum Skin Care line simply because it'd be too expensive for my budget, but they have a customer in me in a few of the products I'm happy with so far, like the TCA peel kits and Emu oil. And I will continue to try their other products when I can.

Tip on peels-follow their instruction packet. Got self over confidant during application of one of the layers I did today and didn't follow the application direction they suggest, to apply the peel directionally, and lost track of wear I'd swiped when I just swiped a different way than usual and think I doubled up on a few small spots, not remembering where I'd swiped. Probs no big deal this time during 3rd layer, but if it had been my 5th(final) layer that could have been an issue.

Tip for consumers:
Good website, informative. However, upon purchase, a third-party affiliation for insuring the parcel pops up. Then when one buys another third party, credit card verifier, emails one (2 days and 6 emails later incl a pic of myself with ID and card in hand) And when they ship, they send you a tracking number, except that the number DOESN'T WORK outside the US. No way to trace parcel! Parcel is missing and no help from Jen at Platinum Skincare just passes the buck if she replies at all.

Hello. We have gone back a few times with very cordial emails in our support system until now.

1. Our fraud system flagged the order. You informed us it was most likely because you were in Greece but your card was S. Africa - I agree. Our fraud system looks for that and requires identity confirmation. That is for your protection and ours.

2. Your order was shipped via USPS which is trackable with the link we provided you. It was also fully protected by Route Insurance. I told you about filing this once 20 days hit if the package was not scanned. You were fully covered and have been refunded with that insurance. Being global I had to apply it to your card for Route and they will reimburse me on my end.

*Also, most likely you will still receive your package - as it is most likely just delayed.

I feel this entire process went quite smoothly.

I first came upon this website when I was 'dissed' by my local skin care place. I wanted a chemical peel treatment and they didn't reply to my inquiry. I have placed a total of four orders so far. I also joined the Platinum club that gives you 20% off each purchase and free shipping. I'm currently doing the prep for a Mandelic peel. I hope to move up to the TCA peels (which I had one in 2006). Their creams are fabulous and you can see results. Lots of videos to help educate you. If you have questions, email support and they get back to you really fast. I'm very happy and will continue to purchase from them. Can't recommend them highly enough.
