As a geek, I have a number of things that interest me. On Pinterest, I can create albums of my geeky interests and collect all sorts of stuff about them. For instance, one of my favorites is Album Art. I've got numerous scans of the art from albums from the sixties forward. My other boards are Fossils, Earth Science, Astronomy, Messier Objects, electronics and so on.
I don't really use Pinterest as "social media". My boards are for ME. If you like them too, that cool.
It is a good place to organize all of your favorite trivia that you might otherwise lose.

I totally love this app. I will recommend it to anyone. It gives me absolutely good DIYs and hacks, it has also helped my fashion sense

Pintrest for business is a rip off! Realize please that everything you see on the first pages is paid for, and content, no matter how amazing, that is not paid for is pushed to the back. It's as organic as a Monsanto Corn! Bleh, another commercialized platform.
Plus I see what my friends are pinning, do they know I see that? Sometimes the content is not so flattering and I'm sure they would be horrified to know that Pintrest shares their pins (about loosing weight, plastic surgery or Athlete's foot - very nice... NOT). Pintrest needs serious revamp.

I think I might have been a little impatient in my first review and should have taken into account the time in shipping to Hawaii. Nonetheless, I received what I ordered and looking forward to opening it.

Been using pintrest for years inuse it to get ideas for recipes and family issues ect it's awesome and has every idea u could ever imagine on there is wonderful

I don't know how many of you remember the time when you could search something in pintrest and know that you would be able to sift through pages of the stuff you actually searched for. But now a days that's not the case. Now when you search something... As in like I just did about 30 min ago. I typed in decal to see if I could find some cool decal ideas. I got several... But as I sifted through the different images I started to get things that weren't exactly what I had hoped for. I got images of boobs, gif's of women lifting up their shirts to reveal themselves, cartoon characters in very imposing positions, comics that people have created with two male characters of a show having intercourse and then one getting pregnant and then going into labor.
Now don't get me wrong... I am all about everyone having their freedom to do as they please, post what they please, saying what they want to say without any repercussion what so ever. But on a site like pintrest where you have a variety of people on there. I would assume that it would not be at all demanding if I were to ask for just some filtering through this crap. I mean I am a grown $#*! man, and I don't have a problem with some of this stuff cause now a days its everywhere, and you get used to it. But having it almost constant on this website/ app is getting annoying. I am married, and I hope to one day have children, and I love to do fun projects with my wife, and hopefully with my future children. I would love to be able to sit them down and scroll through a site like pintrest used to be and feel like I can comfortably go through things and not have something like a man's penis, or some drawn pokemon orgy popping up on the feed. I can understand it is hard to sift through so many things, and people have their ways of getting through the blocks and what not. But you have got to be kidding me where an online entity cannot some how figure out a way to get these images off, or sift through them better. It is ridiculous.
I still use pintrest I will admit that. But it is getting to a point where I am about 2 steps away from removing my account, and the app from my phone and figuring out some other form of inspiration for things. I am sick of seeing this crap. Our world has become so demoralized that it is getting to that point where it needs a good swift kick in the pants. But I want to be able to have stuff like pintrest not be gunked up by crap like porn, or some person's fantasies about a woman and some form of animal. Leave that to the porn sites. Or your own person journal.
This is literally a form of asking pintrest to please fix it. I like pintrest. Don't let it go from fun and enjoyable pintrest to porntrest.

I love this site! You can many different boards which I take full advantage of! It also helps me put together outfits for school when the seasons change. I can see new styles, great comebacks, DIY projects, and so much more. I even have a dream closet of this site! The designer put a lot of thought into the web design. It is FLAWLESS!

Really cool site... its a virtual pin-board... pin all you fav website photos with a link to the site... Great and addicting.

For a Reviewer Level 1 and a trusted member of the SiteJabber, I'd like to give my third positive review to Pintrest. This site brings us mush convenience! We need sites like this!

When did pintrest become a soft porn site? I use to use it all the time and realized the searches were all the same and not rotating random like they use to be. Last year I started getting a ton of porn related searches any where from sexual imagery to penis shaped images and side boob shots and photos highlighting one part of the body more than the other. Good god pintrest have some shame.

I love this site! It takes a few weeks to be invited but it is so much fun when you do join!

I use to enjoy pintrest and used to create several artistic projects. Around 2017 I noticed pintrest started doing soft porn ads. If you're signed into an email account on your electronic device they'll start spaming adds towards emails in your in box. On one device I purchased a few clothing articles. Then on my main device I started getting ads regarding that purchase. Pintrest is no longer concerned about your privacy rights. Didn't facebook get inedited about this?

Around 2017 I noticed pintrest started becoming a soft porn site. No longer a place for little children. Ads are all soft porn targeted. Anything from images regarding a sexual nature to lingerie ads highlighting body parts, side boobs, but and breast highlighting photos and when you search on pets you get penis privet part pictures. Sorry but I'm adding this site to my porn content blocker so my younger family members do not fall victim to it. Pintrest is now a rated "R" site for porn targeted ads.

I'm absolutely smitten with this app and would suggest it to anyone in a heartbeat. It offers fantastic life hacks.
