Pet's Best pet insurance is adequate for our pets needs. The premiums and deductibles are reasonable for the coverage and the reimbursement for claims is timely and accurate. The cost has gone up over time as most insurance policies do but not significantly as to cause me to cancel the policies. The best part about this coverage is the free real time pet advice chat or phone consultation offered. It has been a big help for us having three cats that sometimes have medical issues we cant decipher. The service is included in your premium and the representatives are professional, empathetic and diligent. I have often received a call back from the Veterinary expert a day or two later after the initial conversation as they inquire about the condition or progress of my cat. This type of service is greatly appreciated by people that obsess over their pets like me. I would recommend this company to anyone that needs medical insurance coverage and care assistance for their pets.

Do not pick this company for your pets insurance. I have had them for 5 years and my premiums have doubled in that time. The excuse they give is breed of pet, age of pet, and your geographic location. These are not things I can change. My premium jumped from $56 to $70 in one year. Last year's increase from $45 to $56 - made me already have to drop to a higher deductible from $100 to $250 per incident just to be able to afford this insurance. I also switched my second dog off of Pets Best to VPI pet insurance because they were so much more affordable. Because of the "pre-existing" clause - it makes it hard for me to switch to another company and this is the only reason I have put up with this poor business practice this long. But I am through --- and I don't want anyone else to be manipulated like I have been
