Do not spend your money here. A payment produces exactly nothing. Should have wised up when I didn't see any contact information. My credit card company gave me their contact number as 208-345-4245.

SCAM.
What a con. Criminal record my a*** they should be listed on here themselves. DO NOT USE> This will not prtect you or you children as they state. Praying on responsible parents trying to do what's best for their children.
M@$&^@*#&ers took my money then gave no way to log into SCAM website. I finally got clkbank.com (probably also SCAMMERS) to refund money, but likely only because I got Paypal involved. BEWARE! Site is registered to Information Technology Services, Inc., 848 N. Rainbow Blvd. Suite 2452, Las Vegas, Nevada 89107, Phone 781-647-0678. I expect the address is a mailbox service. I called Vegas police dept. fraud division, and they referred me to IC3.com. I'm choosing not to file complaint there because they don't guarantee privacy, but I sure hope some of you will! Let's shut these peoplepublicrecords.org a$$h013s down!
I agree with all the previous comments and complaints. It is a scam!
Just been caught out. How do we get Google to wise up to this scam and do something about it. After parting with cash it did not find the info from the initial search so I entered Bugs Bunny with a fictitious birthdate and GUESS WHAT - it found matches in the U.K. The unacceptable face of capitalism.
Just noticed your comment, and I think I can tell you why Google doesn't do anything about these kinds of sites. It's not a matter of being wised up, it's a matter of getting thousands of complaints about hundreds of thousands of sites, constantly, and every one has to be investigated by attorneys because hearsay is not a reason to close anyone down, and nobody wants to get sued.
There are literally hundreds of thousands, if not millions, of scams and spammers and phonies and con men of all types on the web, and Google could never hope to deal with them all, however large the legal department might be. Even successful requests by other companies' attorneys may have to wait for years, because there are just too many of these people out there.
Google does act, though, when it can, and if you are looking for certain things you will often find a note on the page that a certain site or sites have been removed. All it can do is remove a site from the listings, though; it has no authority to remove the site or the domain name itself from the web. Ultimately someone called a Domain Registrar does have that authority, but to the best of my knowledge it has never been used except under the pressure of a court order and several large policemen on the doorstep.
Even then, that's just Google, and there's still Bing/Yahoo to deal with, by which time the site in question has changed names and re-opened somewhere else anyway, or was already running a bunch of clones and isn't affected in the least by losing one of them.
People in general have to be **very** careful out there, even if they do notify Google and Yahoo and the police and the DHS and the FBI. All these things are good to do, but the bottom line is, trust is something you should hand out with much greater care online, than elsewhere.
BTW I don't work for Google, but have worked for one of the others. Staff who work on search engines generally do care about their users, even if it doesn't show, or - as recently - Google attempts to pass off the problem by issuing a public statement that it's something they have well in hand. If they'd be more honest and admit that the listings are awash with con artists and scams and all manner of spam, people would be more careful. But for obvious reasons, they can't bring themselves to do that.
But there are people working at the search engines who do feel passionately about spam and deceit in the listings. They face a huge uphill battle to make a dent in the constant 'gaming' of the engines, as it is called, but they do try. It's still worthwhile to report everything to everyone you can think of who could one day take some action, but it's a very, very slow process indeed.
I hope that helps answer your question.
I wish I had taken a couple of minutes to check them out but was in a hurry and so easily got sucked in! Lucky I believe in Karma! DO NOT PAY THEM ANY MONEY! IT IS A PURE SCAM!
totally agree with you.
they took my money and It may be me but now I can't seem to sign in. the web address takes you to the home page and I can't seem to find the login. I could not find any contact info so I called my card company and they gave me the phone number 208-345-4245 so they are closed now, will try tomorrow and hope its better
Just like everyone else I wish I had checked out the site before using. You will spend money for nothing. Will forward you to another site where you will pay again for info. Information is vauge on site, no way to once so called registered to start second look-up while ending up at pay again.
I checked back on the site and they have improved a lot since the last time.
I can confirm that it is a scam. I paid with PayPal, and got nothing. There is no way to log in, and no way to contact them.
Paid for one year to check vin numbers while in search for a car but never found even ONE record out of a half dozen. Useless in California. Only a few states are utilized in the databases. I don't even bother to look anything up there anymore, what's the point?
Able to log in again via the small link at the bottom of the page. Tried online support for a question, but no one replied.
I used this web site and found wealth of information about myself, will recommend to others.

I also wish I had taken the time to review the website. There is no login page. It took my money and kicked me out of the website. I could not get back in. Thus, I did not get my search, lost my money, cannot log back in, and have no remedy.

Q&A for Peoplepublicrecords.org
I agree with what everyone has said and in addition, the way they hook you to pay is once you have given a brief bit of info for a particular item to search, immediately you are told they have found a match.
Here's me too soon old & too late smart! Don't join this club of "if we knew then what we know now".
It's a huge scam!
