They took payment from me twice - once in December when I purchased an item (please note it took them over a month to deliver my goods) and than they took the same payment amount months later which was unauthorised. Despite contacting them on numerous occassions to refund me, I have still not received a refund. I suggest you avoid this website, unless you are prepared to scrutinise your bank account each month.

PLEASE,PLEASE,PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS CONNING WEBSITE.
They WILL take your credit card number and illegally set up some direct debit and take money out every month, trust me, it happened to me.
When you e mail them complaining, you get the most sarcastic replies and they will NOT answer any questions with straight answers.
My credit card fraud team are onto them but please don't go through what I have been through,it's not pleasant.

This website takes money out of your account for items that they do not deliver, you then have to beg for your refund and wait for weeks. You can send them emails and you will get sarcastic messages back with no promise of your refund. Be very careful

Discusting, no one to speak to on the phone, do not answer emails. Bought a Boston Critter cage, they advertise 5 boston critter cages on their website at different prices when they are all the same cage !!. The one I received the conversion kit doesnt fit. Can I get anything done about it NO, £200 down the drain !!

I ordered a dog collar and dog toy in August, chased the order in early September and was advised that the order had been dispatched. It has never arrived. To date I have e mailed them 3 further times asking for a refund and have not even had a reply. Tried ringing them - automated service. In my opinion this website is a not very well concealed scam! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!

I ordered products off the site in April 2011. They debited my account for the correct amount in April, but then took the same amount out of my account EVERY MONTH FOR 4 MONTHS IN A ROW. Despite numerous attempts to get this refunded, still no luck, 6 months later!

NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM PAWSPETSUPERMARKET.COM! They are crooks, and running a pathetic and dishonest business.

Website looks unprofessional. The service is terrible. I ordered a dog coat, a month later I chased the order to be told I couldnt have it due to them waiting for it from their supplier 9note I had to contact them for this info!). I emailed and said I wanted a refund. 2 weeks later and several email later - still waiting for the refund.
DO NOT USE THEM.

We've had the same experience as Paul E! Ordered something 2 months ago and received nothing. They've taken money out twice and haven't responded to any of the emails we've sent. We've spoken to our bank and are going to follow up with the fraud department. It's odd that some of you seem to have had no issues but some of us have had really negative experiences.

Great site, I too shop on this site quite a lot, its a super site.

The dog coat range they have this year must be one of the largest on the web, the prices are great too.

I have just got my dog Charlie a new coat and collar, he is a greyhound and the hunter greyhound coat is really well made and nicely lined in fleece.
the collar is the thing that impressed me the most, it is padded with a red lining and is one of the best quality greyhound collars i have seen for a while.

I ordered the coat and collar last Monday and they were with me on Wednesday, pretty good delivery I think.

I have got quite a lot of greyhound things from this site and ordered a few items for my mums cat, and sister rabbit, I have always found the price good and the delivery quick.

Just to point out, and to agree with some others, you are best e-mailing them, as the phone line on the web site does get busy at times.

I personally prefer e-mailing when I shop on line on any web site,though as you have a copy of whats been said so you know where your at.

Not that I have ever had a problem with these guys, I've even asked for a call back in one of my e-mails when my laptop crashed on me and I was not sure if the payment had gone through, they called me back and were excellent,

I ordered 2 rabbit leads from this store,both arrived in good time and i was happy,but... about a month later i noticed that they have taken the same amount of money from my account again unathorised? I emailed them and in all honestly they emailed straight back as i was worried because you cannot contact them by phone,they said it was an error and would refund within 5 days,the refund did not happen so i emailed again and again they responded quickly but said that was an error also and would refund again, -this eventually happend but i am worried this will keep on happening as reading other reviews from here and other review websites this is a very common problem! Definately needs investigating!

I have just purchased two little coats for my puppy and found the site excellent, I was little concern at first after reading the last reveiw but I need not have been concernd as they arrived very quickly and excelent quality I orderd over the weekend and my parcel arrived in four days.

I ordered a dog collar and lead on 3rd May 2010. I have been chasing delivery regularly since then to no avail. Their only means of communication is by random email when they can be bothered and they keep advising me that the order has been dispatched. I have now asked for a refund and I am awaiting a response.
Steer clear of this website. There are no delivery timescales on their website.

I ordered goods in October, I was charged twice. When I noticed it and started asking for a refund they got real quiet. Three months later - no answers to my emails. THESE PEOPLE ARE CROOKS. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM!

item not arrived after one month, there is no real phone number, the number given cuts you off. they have fraudulently taken payments from my account, had to refer to my banks online security fraud team .

A really nice place to shop

They have a nice easy to use web site, with some fantastic prices,
I have bought things from here a few times for my pets.

the delivery time scales are quite good, i have swapped things a time or two with no problems at all.

I find customer services friendly and helpful.

I will most defiantly be shopping with this site again

I was impressed with this company until a month after my order they took a duplicate payment from my credit card. Like other reviewers I also found that the correspendence information on their site wasn't up to date, so I emailled them asking them to explain their actions and to return my money.

After 24 hours I contacted my bank and advised them that I had been charged without my permission and that I wanted it investigated and a chargeback to the merchant actioned. A day later Maxine from the company emailled me to advise me that they had made a mistake and that the money was being sent back. That was 12 days ago and still this refund has not been received, despite promised that it has. So this means that they are either lying or have refunded the wrong person!!!!

This may be stupid errors on this companies part, but to be honest I won't be using them again, as I wouldn't what to take a chance that this doesn't happen again.

The company's postage prices seemed high for small items, when my order arrived only half of it was present, I emailed (there is no phone number) to ask where the rest of my order was a couple of weeks later when I had still not heard or recieved anything, they said that they could no longer get hold of the item I had ordered and would send a refund. A month past and I had forgotten about the refund until i noticed another amount of money had been taken from my account by the company. It has taken me another month and numerous emails to finally get the refund which i recieved today. I would not recomend this site and feel that £4 for postage of a small dog collar is highly excessive. I was offered no compensation for the mistakes made by the company and very little appology was offered for their mistakes.

I can't urge you strongly enough NOT to use this company. I believe they have stolen my money and have no intention of sending the product I ordered and paid for.



I have sent many emails back and forth politely asking for information on where the item is and they quite literally refuse to answer.



I paid for the item 3 weeks ago, but it was not a special order or 'designer' item so it should have arrived within a couple of days. There was no mention that there would be any delay on delivery at any stage in the buying process.



It's annoying that I haven't received anything, but far more disturbing that despite direct email contact, they are quite literally refusing to help. They're not saying the item is lost in the post, or that is hasn't yet been posted, or that it is unavailable; they are not giving any answers at all. They are not offering a refund or any compensation either, which is why I can only presume this is a scam and they have stolen my money.



Incidentally, they do not publish a phone number, which in itself confirms that pawspetsupermarket is at best, a hopelessly amateur company.

Hi All

I brought 2 sets of polka dot collar & leads back in July.. delivered within 3 weeks, but then after a week of them being used, all the fake leather came off both collars so I sent them an email complaining asking for a return address & for a refund..

8 emails later, (2 back saying they are waiting for a response from the designers) I AM NOT A HAPPY BUNNY

You cannot reach them on their phone as it diverts straight to an American Voicemail..

You get no where by emailing them either.

I have now faxed them - we'll see how we get on.

Ordered an item from this site a week ago , just a small off the shelf item, order details just say 'processing', phone line is just automated, email keeps saying unable to send, though I hope to have successfully sent one, no reply has been recieved. Having just read these comments I feel the likely hood of recieving anything is small and I shall be watching my bank account with interest. I would not recommend this site at this present time.

Having submitted a slightly negative review just yesterday, I am glad to say my email was responded to and the ordered item arrived today and was exactly as described .I am now much happier and more likely to use them again.

I have had problems too and they have taken two unauthorised payments from my credit card, I am still waiting refunds and have been waiting for over a month, found out today that they have taken another payment! Dont buy from them.

I just reported them to Paypal, my bank and Amazon. Would everybody else please do the same?

I have already contacted watchdog. Stop your cards with your card provider. This is the only way to stop them taking any more money. I do not doubt for one minute that if I had not stopped my card more payments would have been taken.
Refunds can be paid onto new cards.
I stopped my card when I noticed 3 months after my purchase the 3rd duplicated payment. I was one of the lucky ones and I got my money refunded. It was refunded onto my new card with no problems what-so-ever.

They finally refunded my overpayments after many emails, they are not very gracious about having to give refunds and were quite rude in some of their communication. Nevertheless I got my money back but would never buy from them again.

NO WAY would I ever have given them my new card details. I knew if I didn't stop my card they would carry on taking money. They had already taken nearly £60 in duplicate payments so I didn't want to risk leaving my card live and them helping themselves to more payments. They only had the old credit card details but the refund still went onto the new card. What if your card was lost/stolen today and you had to have a new one? You would have no alternative but to have a new card number issued so there must be a way your card provider still refunds on to your account. Phone your card provider and say to them if I stop this card can a refund still be paid on to my account. Explain the situation to them. It was a Maxine that I had contact with and eventually orgainised my refund. However I was lucky compared to other people on this website. My refund was done over a couple of weeks after I had contacted them. I also agree with cor.e and several others on this website. Their communications are very unprofessional and quite rude. I will never use them again.

Right on! I cancelled my card yesterday, and reported them to Watchdog (as well as Amazon, where I saw their ad, and Paypal.) Mastercard has also made a report to their fraud department. Maxine has now passed me on to Claire who feigns to know nothing of this situation. I wonder if the employees get a percentage per racket or if they have to beg and wheedle the boss for their salary...

Look at the great mail I just got from Maxine. Do I think they'll refund me? No. But here's the kind of service you can expect. They had all the info about my multi-debit and no delivery 'issues" around three weeks ago.

Finally we have some information from you, if you have just informed us of the issue in the first place instead of waffling on about fraud and trying to be smug, this could have been sorted out a while ago, it appears you have either paid twice for your order or it has been incorrectly charge twice,

As stated in our terms and conditions your order is too large to be sent to you, then you were probably aware of this when you ordered it.

We do get a lot of overseas con artist who try this, because as I am sure you are totally ware the only way large items can be sent, is without gaining a receipt, then of course you lot claim you have not received the goods, therefore the order has been cancelled and both payment will be refunded to you.

Sorry to put out your fire but we have spoken to consumer direct who are fully aware of overseas fraud and have added you name to their data base

Maxine has such excellent personal relations skills, I had similar toned emails myself, I am happy to support any information request from any consumer relations programmes. I cant believe that this multiple payment issue is still going on. When I requested my money back in September she denied any problems with the system however it is clear that the problems had been on going for some months!

My emails from Maxine were the same. I kept all of them just in case any consumer relations contacted myself and wanted proof. I actually printed them off and showed family and friends and they couldn't believe them. One of the more pleasant ones below:

It surprises me that when customers read these reviews they appear to totally miss the good reviews we have and also forget to take into account we have over 20,000 customers and only a hand full of bad reviews, happy customer very rarely leave a review.
I will certainly chase your payment up for you.
Please also note every customer who had this issue on these nasty review sites has been refunded, one of them totally missed the refund and still insist she has not received it how ever after her bank contacted us and the relevant documentation was sent out she dropped her claim, two of the reviews also asks for a substantial amount of compensation prior to writing the reviews and are now under police investigation.
What a lot of people do not know is, these sites are set up to make money from advertising, if we have a lot of good reviews the site owners remove them, it is more profitable for them to have manly bad reviews as more customers read them.
Also you may have noticed you cannot change your review or add another review, so if you discover you were wrong or look at your account two minutes later and discover you have been refunded it’s too late you cannot amend your review.
We had one customer who reviewed he had not received his order, that same day the neighbours called to say it had been at their house for over two weeks, their pet sitter had signed for it whilst they were away.
He was most upset he had written a very damaging review and could not remove it even after e-mailing the review site it has still not been removed.
Another point to bear in mind when reading these reviews is, if our competitors hear of a problem they will add reviews to escalated the issue and gain customers for them.
The problem which faces businesses in the country is you cannot sue for liable as most of these web sites are not UK based they are usually in the USA, which has freedom of speech laws, allowing anyone to say whatever suits them.
Having said all of this is it not very good for this incident to have occurred in the first place, we have had an error on the system, which we have resolved, and we are looking at the issue with refunds which should all be completed and in our customer’s accounts no later than Tuesday.

Since this experience I never buy anything off of the internet without looking into it first. This was the first time I had ever had a bad experience but it certainly made me more aware again.

I'm saving all the emails too. These people are nuts. Isn't it fitting that their English skills are on par with their business standards?

My last one encourages me to write about them as much as possible. They're playing the game where the more they are mentioned on the internet they higher they appear on the search page. Of course, running a reputable business would perhaps ensure them greater success in the long term. (I've since reported them to Trustpilot and Consumer Direct). Still no products, still no refund.

You have been taking monies from my bank account UNAUTHORISED. I am now in touch with the fraud dept of my bank, the local police to have you investigated and the chamber of commerce to put you out of business. I expect a complete refund by return. I've just noticed on my bank statements that they r taking money from me too. Their web site is closed down - does any one have a tel phone number that I can contact them on? Thankyou

I could not contact them either, co I went to my bank, cancelled my direct debit card for a new one. My bank then gave the phone number of their Fraud dept, after contacting them them they gave me another no of my bank claims dept and they recovered all my money for me, which was six deductions!.
