Pretty cool idea to clone groupon in other countries and have daily deals as you definitely need a local presence to pull this off. I do wonder how the locals view this company and if they find it as good or bad as groupon here in the states. Ouffer site does look vaguely similar to groupon in design, but I guess that is the magic that works. No point in reinventing the wheel.

Paid for 2 vouchers, they sent 1. Did not reply to 3 or 4 emails until it was too late. Tried to play $#*!ed games pretending to not understand what the problem was { hint... you are thieving scum}.

I lost money on deals that never happened and money was not refunded although they kept insisting that they had refunded me sending bogus confirmation of the refund.

I ordered some clothing items from ouffer many weeks ago, and waited patiently for the first month as they advised it could take this long to arrive, fair enough but after 5 and 6 weeks I emailed them, I just kept getting an email with no specific detail in it just saying they were chasing up the issue, yet no items arrived and no refund was given. At one point they sent me an email that the items had been shipped from overseas, yet on the same day I got another email from ouffer support that they were chasing it up still and they have not been shipped. So where they ever shipped or not then? Who knows, but it is extremely dodgy that after such an unreasonable amount of time the items have not arrived. I had to pay extra for postage too. I emailed them again last week asking for a refund or at least store credit and they wont even reply. There is no phone number for this company either, which I would have thought is illegal, don't they have to have one to register for an ABN? I noticed that there isn't even a contact number if you are a business wanting to list offers with them, everything is email only so it is easy for them to ignore you when items don't arrive. So as far as I can tell I have been robbed by them and I will be going to fair trading with them. They have a refund policy listed on their site that if items don't arrive in the mail they will refund you, yet it doesn't appear to be put into practice. Super dodgy!

I purchased what was advertised as a pair or leggings but they are a support garment and completely see through. I am trying, without any success to get a refund. They are using every excuse in the book to not refund my money. A lesson well learned but I am going to lodge an official complaint against them still. Never buy from this company they are scam artists!

Unhappy experience. Been waiting almost 7 weeks for an iPad cover which I paid for back in early Jan. I've sent a few emails to *******@ouffer.com & I just get an automated response. I've only had one email from them (Tia, from Team Ouffer) a few weeks ago that said my item will arrive soon. I've emailed them twice since then & no response. They really don't seem to care. I would not recommend them at all.

I ordered a Moet champagne and 11 bottles of 2011 Anthelion Sauvignon Blanc deal on December 7th. It was supposed to arrive withing three weeks. I have sent numerous emails to *******@ouffer.com and *******@ouffer.com giving all the information re this order. I just keep receiving a generic reply that they are looking into it. What is the next step to either receive the goods or get a refund? Thankyou.

Purchased a massage through Ouffer, I was unable to make an appointment with the company. I contacted Ouffer to try and organise an appointment. There was over 10 emails in a two week period with no appointment. After this much mucking about I asked for a refund, they were not willing to offer a refund as they said I changed my mind. I am no longer a member of Ouffer, and I wouldn't recommend them to friends or family as when it becomes difficult they really don't do anything.

Ouffer FAIL: What can they ‘ouffer’ you? They ouffer ‘deals’ for services that are not redeemable, from companies who only accept online bookings… but have no online slots available. They then ouffer no compensation, but will happily quote irrelevant Ts & Cs. Dealing with shoddy companies like this, it’s no wonder Ouffer are going bankrupt. Avoid at all cost.

Ouffer provides dodgy deals. I got a deal for carpet cleaning which turned out to be a scam. I now know from a blog published by another customer that Ouffer knew about the scam weeks before my service was meant to be provided but they never contacted me. I suspect they didn't contact anyone. So they sat there doing nothing while hundreds of people cleared their homes of furniture waiting for carpet cleaners that never arrived. What a bunch of #!#!@.

Really disappointed with this company. Purchased services, finally booked a time directly with the company over the phone (after leaving many messages with no response) and then they didn't turn up. The company now won't return my calls or emails. There has been no response to my concerns regarding this company from OUFFER. I have have problems with offers from other daily deals sites before but these sites have always responded promptly and offered me a full refund. I will not use OUFFER ever again.

This is the WORST discount webpage. Bought a product that wont work, so sent x4 emails until they finally replied. They told me to take it up with DINODIRECT (just as bad) they are a company in CHINA. You have to sign up to even email them, then they dont return any emails. OUFFER is nothing but a SCAM, never buy anything from them.

I purchased a deal from this site and when i tried to redeem the product the company had disappeared. Their number was disconnected and website had disappeared. When i email ouffer (4 time) i only got on reply that said to go to their site and that my issue was deemed solved. So in short they took $250 of my money and i got nothing back, pretty disappointing when other coupon sites are so good

Ouffer refused to refund a voucher the provider wouldn't honour. Stay away from Ouffer, very dodgy! Wasted $69.

Customer service is appalling. I was offered a $20 credit which is useless because I would never ever buy anything from them again. Refused the credit and advised I would follow this up with the ACCC.

SCAM. Plain and simple. I bought a deal, got billed thrice. Add on to that; the service was nothing as described. They do not respond to emails and refund requests. They billed me 3 times! I'm really upset. Please guys, save your money and stay away.

I purchased a Ouffer voucher last year for a service on my home. The company that offered the service (after many contact attempts) eventually failed to deliver and I have been pursuing Ouffer for a full refund. Ouffer keep offering me credit and even after requesting bank account details to refund me, are still trying to merely offer me a credit note instead of my money back! Totally unimpressed with the administration and service from Ouffer given the service purchased cannot be completed. Will NEVER deal with Ouffer again and am about to start proceeding with the NSW Department of Fair Trading as I'm getting sick of this! Stay away people!

I was taken for $900 for aholiday I could not only not book it after many attempts to contact ouffer I received no response Im a single mum who had saved thjis money to take my boys away for once

I purchased a massage coupon a few months ago from Ouffer.com. Unfortunately I had to leave the country for some urgent business overseas. But, I didn't really care at the time because on the coupon it has no conditions whatsoever regarding the booking for the massage plus the coupon expires in January 2012. However, when I came back, it took me two weeks just to get in contact with the massage place and now it is only a few days before the coupon ends. The lady from the salon was really rude on the phone blaming me for not booking 'one month in advance' when it actually does not say that on the coupon or the web page. I tried contacting Ouffer for help regarding the coupon (email address AND Twitter) and I still have not received any reply from them and from what I've read here, I don't think I'll be getting one any time soon or my money back.

This company is fake and ridiculous. Do not be tempted by their offers!
Definitely NOT recommended!

Tried to obtain a refund for 2 vouchers they sold from a vendor who wouldn't honor the service advertised - only response I got was an automated reply that they would get back to me shortly. After waiting two weeks there has been no further response. Terrible customer service as echoed by many who have reviewed Ouffer.

I purchased a kayaking voucher but everytime I would try and redeem it, the weather was horrendous and they could never "fit me in" when I wanted, as a result my voucher expired after a gazillion times of trying to redeem it! There is no contact number for ouffer and I have sent over ******* emails to them. They are scam artists, I have never had any problems with other companies and I am disgusted with this illegitimate company who refuse to give me back the money they STOLE from me. And in my emails I have told them to ring me and they wont, they must be an illegal overseas company stealing people's money!

First time was to order a car detailing deal which was reneged on by the company who were to supply it. Ouffer did advise this but our outlay of $75.00 has not been refunded despite numereous emails back to them including one to the CEO.
Thought we'd give them a second chance with an offer of a GPS navigation system - ordered & paid for in good faith but guess what - yet again nothing except our money!
Please everyone do not fall for this companies scam offers -they are not reputable & will only take your money with no end service or purchase for your outlay.BE AWARE

I purchased 5 vouchers in July for surfing lessons that I intended to use while my family was visiting Sydney for a few weeks last November. I emailed the vendor multiple times to schedule the lessons but not only were they very slow to respond, I later learned that they were also only available for lessons on Saturdays. I actually spoke to the vendor over the phone not wanting to waste the experience and he advised that he could do a lesson on a Sunday given there were 5 of us doing it but, when emailed again, he told me only Saturdays were preferred!

By the time this back-and-forth communication was over, my family had come and gone and I was stuck with 5 surfing vouchers that I would not have purchased otherwise. When I contacted Ouffer to advise them I wanted a refund, they initially said they do not provide refunds EVER which was absolutely contrary to their terms and conditions. I noticed later that they actually had to CHANGE their terms and conditions/refund policy (most probably to accommodate for their lack of customer care). After emailing again with slightly more insistence, they quoted my email that I had sent the vendor (which really annoyed me) emphasising the fact that I did not mention wanting to book any classes. Unfortunately, the vendor FAILED to mention our phone conversation in which he specifically said that he could organise a Sunday class.

It all left a bad taste in my mouth and left me $100 poorer so I did not want to think of it during the holidays. I am trying to sort things out with the vendor to see if I can still redeem the vouchers even though they have expired 9 days ago.

In the back of my mind, I compare this site with other similar sites who, unlike Ouffer, can provide refunds NO QUESTIONS ASKED. If you are offering a service on a vendor's behalf, be prepared to answer for ANY bad experiences suffered by the customer instead of shrugging of all responsibility once you receive payment. Between non-responsive and inflexible vendors and what is likely to be the WORST customer service policy in the history of community-based websites, I would not go near this website again with metaphoric ten-foot pole.

Absolute Joke. Purchased a dinner for two for a place that had actually been closed down and a change of owenership. The owners advised us to contact Ouffer as they will honour a refund. After 4 weeks of continious emails i am yet to hear anything back from them. Don't waste your time with this Scammers.

Disappointed by the 2 occassions I've purchased from this site. May not be the site's fault, as it was the vendors who have been unwilling to produce the goods until contacted. On the first occasion, the service I received was different to what I purchased because the vendor was unwilling to provide the service I'd purchased at that price. On the second occassion, the vendor was willing to send a "replacement", yet to see it.
