“Was contacted by these scammers after they saw an on...”

Was contacted by these scammers after they saw an on line ad that was running in conjunction with a print ad I purchased with the local newspaper. They assured me if I purchased their $500 platinum advertising package that I could get thousands more for my SUV and it would be sold in a matter of days. They promised my ad would be on hundreds of web sites and links they interact with to find you a buyer. What a rip off. Never heard of most of the web sites and the few that were up were removed from the ad campaign after a short time. When I searched for my ad, most of the time it was no where to be found. Most of he links wouldn't even open when I clicked on them and if they did open my ad wasn't listed. Customer service never contacted me once with an inquiry and when I contacted them, all they said was that I should lower the price. I lowered the price four times for a total of six thousands dollars and still never got one inquiry. I can't even log in to my account. I had to go through a 45 minute chat session before I could log in on onestopboats instead of onestopmotors. It's been over 10 weeks and still no inquiries. This 2010 SUV is in immaculate condition with only 22000 miles and thousands below the Kelly Blue Book price I hope the people who read this take my advice and decline to buy into onestopmotors advertising program and save their $500. If not, GOOD LUCK!

I listed my car at AutoTrader.com (which may not have been a good idea -- only one inquiry and it did not work out). A few days after the AutoTrader ad posted, I received a "cold call" from a One Stop salesman. He was slick, told me I could sell for much more than my asking price at Auto Trader, and before I knew it I had agreed to pay $500 for One Stop to market my car nationwide. I did express skepticism, and he had me look up a couple of websites which had glowing recommendations for One Stop. One site was based in Washington DC, and he tried to imply that they were affilliated with the US Government, which was not true. They took the whole "5 business days" before my ad appeared on their site. Now a couple of days later they've posted it on three other sites which I have not heard of. Not EBay. I figure now the only thing I can do is let this play out, and accept that I have probably thrown $500 away. I would have been better off to just sell the car to a dealer instead of paying dearly for this advertising at One Stop and at Auto Trader.

** Four weeks later still not one inquiry about my car, which is low-mileage and should get some interest. The One-Stop website shows many links which they call my "Marketing Campaign", but besides One Stop Motors itself I have not heard of these sites. They say "Bing" and "Google" are part of my marketing campaign, but a search at Bing for my make and model of car does n ot lead to my ad. They did not include e-bay motors. Do not make the mistake I made.

I listed my car on craig's list and almost immediately was called by One Stop Motors. They told me how they could get more for my car than what I was advertising it for. This man's name was Joe Finateri (not sure of the spelling). I called back within two hours and asked to cancel my contract. A person named Michael informed me that this was not an option. He also informed me that they had me recorded accepting the offer. I knew then that I had been scammed. No reputable company would do this to a customer. I tried to dispute this charge on my Edward Jones Mastercard and they said I couldn't. They must endorse scams.

They have put a cheap classified ad on Ebay. If you put the model of my car in the search bar it doesn't even come up.

If you are considering One Stop Motors to sell your car please don't. It is one of the biggest rip offs on the net, and your credit card company will not do anything to stop it.

I wonder if they have ever sold anyone's car.
