I was craving for some dip. Ordered it from here, paid with Wire Bank Transfer (strange that they dont accept credit cars and you have to order at least 25 Euros worth of their products). The payment reached them quickly, and they shipped my order the same day. Shipping to Lithuania (EU border) via regular mail service, propably usps reached me in 9.5 working days. Dip was also fresh and moist. The only company that ships dip, chew and other american goodness worldwide! Im satisfied with their service. Iwish there were more interesting projects like this one. The customer support could be better, and also shipping with tracking/free shipping would be terrific. Will definetly come back again!

I finally decide to call them and they say it's been too long to get any money back or the 13 they didn't ship. They talked to me like I'm an idiot, to which I agree, but ain't my fault I didn't get what I paid for. I don't care if it's 2 months or 2 days or 2 years, both sides are supposed to hold up their side of the deal, but they don't give a crap about their customers. If they can run you over, they will, just be warned.

I received only 25% of the sending I paid for and the product was super dry, got charged twice and the company told me: You have provided a wrong address therefore I should be lucky that I even received some of the goods! I am very certain that the address I provided was correct and the dispute is still going on. Things like that can happen but the arrogant way the company replies and let the customer be the stupid one in that whole game is unacceptable. STAY AWAY from THEM!
Stay away, confirmed order January 27 2017, it is now March 7, nothing. Is this outright fraud, or incompetence? Who cares, don't order from this company. If your experience is like mine, and seemingly most other people, you will pay your money and never receive a thing.
When a review of a company has more one star reviews than not it means stay away. Any of their 4 and 5 star reviews were probably written by an employee of theirs to make them look better.
My order was apparently "shipped" over a month ago near the beginning of Feb 2017... It is now March 10. Nothing. Don't waste your money with this company.
My first package arrived in just 5 working days to CZ, but unfortunately my second package got lost. Their helpdesk was so nice and dare and they refunded to me by store credit so i was able to place my order again. I have absolutely no problem with this supplier and would recommend it to everybody any time.
I placed an order on Dec 30 and today is Jan 21st still nothing delivered. I sent an email to customer service, I received a response back about a week later telling me it was basically out of their hands that it had shipped already. I have ordered 3 other times previously and the shipments normally showed within a couple of weeks but now who knows. Looks like I will be moving to another company for future orders.
Ordered from them a month ago have yet to see my package or even receive a tracking number of any sorts.
I read a lot of reviews about the company after I placed my first order. 90% of the reviews were bad, mostly I heard "scam scam scam scam". At that point I was 99% sure i wasn't going to receive anything in the mail. I contacted the Northerner through email, I got a prompt response saying that they could not refund my money because they already shipped it. This was a lie because it was an hour after I had ordered! Today I was pleasantly surprised to see the package at my door, 4 weeks later. It did come though! I am in Canada by the way!

I've just read through the reviews and I totally disagree. I asked about the problem with the age verification in the UK it was sorted within about 2-3 days. Angelica was an excellent help and I would not under any circumstances. I appreciate its irritating but after simply sending a photo of my ID it was all good! I would happily rate this website and its customer service a 10/10.
I've been ordering since 2015 and live in Tokyo. I calculated that I have ordered about 260 tins from them. Sometimes the shipment takes time, but it has always arrived within 3 weeks. Yes, the client support sucks at times... definitely hit and miss. But they are not taking money and not sending product. And yes, I have to pay duty. For people who are complaining about getting ripped off, you need to remember that they are not in control of your country's custom and duty policy. That is not the definition of being ripped off, that is your mistake for not understanding your own country's duty regs.
I'm very impressed with the Northerner. I have placed two orders so far to Saskatchewan. The first was 4 tins and duty was $40 -- I paid roughly $25 on the site -- so a grand total of $65 for four tins. My second order was $30 on the site for a roll of Copenhagen Long Cut. Paid $48 in duty. Each took about four weeks to arrive.
The cost of a log in Saskatchewan would be $142.50 at a convenience store. I paid only $78 (tax, duty, shipping) total. Very impressed. Huge savings, better dip than what's available in Canada, and fresh sell by dates.
I've read some Canadians were getting gouged $110 per log in duty, but that hasn't been true so far in my case.
Order took one month to arrive. Cost $70 to get from Canada Post. Opened package to find two tins missing and some tobacco mints that I never ordered. Very upset and hope these types of businesses go away quickly.
They have always delivered what I order, never missed a beat. I know I can rely on them to deliver within 2 weeks. After 10 orders with no problems, so I am sure they are good people. I live in Japan and the postal service is very good here, so things don't go missing. Only once was parcel stopped by customs. I had ordered loose and it was heavy, so they charged me, but that is the way it is. Best to order in 5 tins and mixed, but Northerner are smart about this too, splitting orders to make them less attractive to customs.

Dont buy from them if you live in canada. You will get it checked over at the border due to the company not caring about trying to keep it secret from our customs. You will pay out the $#*! for the product. My bill was 321.76 for duty. I told the post office to send the package back. Thanks but no thanks. I will stick to my other service. It may be slower but it works and i get package everytime. No duty owing.
I live in Boston and the mayor just banned flavored chewing tobacco. I have ordered from their website twice now and it arrived quick and fresh. Only drawback is having to be home to sign for it. They will not leave the package unless someone over 18 is there to sign. Which I completely understand.

You know before ordering from this website I read nothing but bad reviews. But I decided to place an order anyways. And I'm glad I did because it got here exactly when it said it was supposed to and I didn't have to wait around all day for it (because you have to sign for it). I am pleased with this company and definitely will be ordering from your website again. Very easy to place an order and excellent shipping service.

Ordered $125 AUD worth of skoal, red seal, nasal snuff, chewing tobacco in May 2016.
They said it was dispatched in 6 parcels and would take 14 days.
I haven't received any notice from customs, as they are always happy to tax me when an order has been stopped, this has been over a month.
All Northerner does is sais they cant track it and it must have been lost in the mail or customs have it.
They are a complete joke and a waste of money, rip off!

Ordered 5 tins may 31 and it's now June 25 and haven't got anything they say that it is lost in mail but my local post office states that they do indeed have a tracking number and the post office seems to think that they just did not ship my order. Not impressed

I have a total of three emails and no responses my order now is almost a week late when I first emailed them asking for a tracking number they told me there is no tracking number on regular mail now I have sent three emails and not a single response I've heard from many sites and forums not to order from them and bow I see why and you would think in the amount of time they have been open they would figure it out I thought it was fishy why they don't have a number to call well I've requested a refund well see what happens

Gold member here with northerner.com, I've bought a ton of chew, snus pipe tobacco and dip.
northerner.com have always had an issue with delayed orders, slow shipping and awful reply time from customer service, we know this.
We also know that at some point, 3 weeks, a month, the order should arrive.
You end up getting to the point when again you have trouble, this time half an order arrives, and you wait another month, nothing arrives so you contact customer services who take 5 days to reply with a generic email.
This means again, your order is either lost or been sent back to them, oh, and they don't re send!.
Its all become far too much hassle to order again, the long drawn out wait, the zero tracking on orders, no care attitude from customer services I have come to the conclusion its time to move onto another vendor.
It feels great to finally say that!

Living in England, there are no shops that sell what i want, yes it takes a while but ive only ever had one order that didnt show up and they resent it, If there was an option at a reasonably quicker delivery here im sure id go for it!

Rubbish company, poor customer service and money collector stay away. When i kept chasing to them for my order and requesting cancellation this is what i get from customer service "If the package is returned, we will not refund or reship the package, snus is a fresh products that can't be reshipped or resold. Returned order are thrown away."
This statement is coming out of blue where they dont have any reference on their website. Is just a leeway for them to not refund.

I ordered $100+ dollars from Northerener over 8+ months ago. For every direct complaint and/or email I was given the run around or totally ignored altogether. I was hoping this company would right their wrong by finally get me what I ordered and when that did not happen I asked for a refund which also did not happen.
I am not going to use this company ever again and I suggest you do all do the same!
And for the furture person from Northerner reads this to say they are going to "take a look into it", please don't bother, 8+ months is long enough!
