Yo eh publicado mi macbook pro para vender y fue mi primer vez publicar algo en esta plataforma. Que resulto? Me robaron mi macbook pro dejandome pensar que ya lo vendi. Los estafadores me robaron con un correo del dominio "mercadolibreinfo[dot]com" y pensaba que fue del empresa y resultado no fue.
Lo contacte al empresa y me dijieron que no me van a reembolsar o apoyar con el robo y me cortaron el chat. No apoyes a este empresa porque no lo importa a sus usuarios.
Manejo esta red muy seguido, es muy buena para obtener articulos regionalmente a mejores precios que en los comercios. Se debe tener el cuidado debido a la hora de elegir el vendedor, no acepten enviar sus datos para contactarse por fuera, no quedan protegidos y no saben a quien le dan sus datos.
Terrible servicio al cliente, no resonden el teléfono. No reciben tarjetas de crédito del exterior, ni estando en Colombia

A quien le interese, si usted es cliente de Mercado libre tengan mucho cuidado con sus compras. Esa es una plataforma que usted compra en buena fe sin saber si el vendedor de esa plataforma le salga estafador. Ni la propia plataforma de Mercado libre sabe quienes son sus vendedores. Cuál quier estafador puede inscribirse con ellos que ellos no investigan sino hasta que estafan a alguien como ami. Fui estafada por $2.500.000 por unos des sus vendedores., aunque yo estaba en el nivel 6 de "compras protegida " no me ayudaron a recuperar ni mi producto ni mi dinero. Durante la mediación cuando me di cuenta que el vendedor es un estafador, inmediatamente me comuniqué con Mercado libre para que me ayudaran con este vendedor a que me entregara mi mercancía o me devolviera mi dinero. Aunque yo le pague directamente a la plataforma de Mercado libre no a ninguna cuenta Personal.
Cuando yo les aviso a plataforma de Mercado libre y Mercado de pago de este vendedor, en vez de asegurar y buscar información sobre las dos partes, automáticamente le dieron mi dinero al estafador sabiendo que nunca recibí la compra. Esa Hera la queja. Me quede en shock, por que en vez de ayudar aúna clienta fiel que les compra a diario prefirieron apoyar al estafador que sabían que no tiene sus credenciales en orden y lo se por que ellos mismos en otro mensaje Me lo dejaron saber.
Para ello fue más importante su comisión por las ventas, que apoyar me ami como cliente preferida.
Mercado libre tiene unos días para que el vendedor entregue el producto, pero ellos no se dan cuenta que muchos de sus vendedores pasan el limited de espera de lo indicado.
Mercado libre dice cuando pasa los 21 días no responden? Pero ese es el mensaje que recibí de su vendedor que esperará 21 días y ahí están mis pruebas. Después de 21 día que vi que no llegaba pues me comuniqué sin ayuda ninguna. La excusa de Mercado libre es que yo cerré la compra. Yo nunca cierro una compra así la reciba. Alguien de su plataforma cerró mi compra y ahora dicen que yo lo hice? Me siento estafada y burlada por Mercado libre.
Esta plataforma no se la recomiendo ni a mi peor enemigo.
Cómprenle a tiendas que si responden y venden mercancía legítima con gente responsable. Aprendí la lección y nunca mas comprare en esa plataforma.
Esta fue la segunda vez que me estafan en esa plataforma y la última.

I purchased an item. Seller couldn't send and asked me to cancel. I agreed. ML showed a credit but since then I have been unable to buy anything. Tried to resolve by email and by WhatsApp from the site but no-one could help. The next time I tried to login, it required facial recognition which doesn't work for Expats in Mexico since I do not have an INE. It won't allow my passport. I tried over 50 times. So, locked out. Can't get a refund or purchase anything to use the credit. No customer service outside of the website. Phone numbers don't work and no-one speaks English anyway even if they answered the phone.
Tip for consumers:
Unable to contact anyone outside of the website and I'm locked out. Facial Recognition does not work for Expats living in Mexico. Worst Customer Service of any company ever.
We paid for a puppy that was supposed to be delivered and now the retailer is ghosting us. They have my money. They said they could not deliver before it was paid for. I knew better and still did it. Shame on you for taking advantage of people

For years I have purchased thru the web/Argentina. However, I have not had Argentine documentation, only from the US. So now they have implemented a face recognition system and only locals can purchase products. Then I try to close the account and request a refund of funds available at the account; yet not possible to move forward because of not have an Argentine ID. Sound discriminatory right? Yet you can not reach any human in this company in order to have an answer or cooperation. I have sent Twitter messages to the funder, and guess what...nothing.

Based on my experience, it's the best way to buy and sell stuff online in countries lacking e-shops as Peru and Ecuador - I used it number of times to find some hard to find devices for example. But, it's very far from e-bay in convenience. The most disgusting is that there is no online payment options so when you have a sale here, there is no guarantee that the buyer will actually send you the money, but your publication will be marked as "sold". Can't say that I really like the site - but unfortunately there is not much online actions in Latin America...

I purchased a product and later that day was told the product was unavailable. I've now been trying for over a month to get my money refunded that they put in my MercadoLibre account.
I've been lied to 5 times now about when the money would show up in my account. I have been told to have 'peace of mind' the money is coming and yet it never shows up when they say it will. I'm convinced they want me to forget about it so they can just keep my cash.
Incredibly poor service and very dishonest. I will never attempt to purchase anything from them again. Avoid at ALL costs.
The products are not delivered and money is not refunded. They dont respond to emails.

At 25.02.2022, 18:06 (GMT-4) I contacted the seller from link https://articulo.mercadolibre.com.do/MRD-*******-huawei-p50-pro-512gb-desbloqueado-nuevo-oferta*******690-_JM#position=1&search_layout=stack&type=item&tracking_id=5b*******b-99ce-4124-a0b8-6f93ab43f7a0 using phone number *******690 via WhatsApp.
He stated that the phone was available for 38,000 RD$ and gave me the address of the shop: Villa Vasquez street Benito Moncion local number four b.
On 01.03.2022, when the shop location was checked via Google Maps I contacted the seller and tried to rent a car to reach the shop. There was a failure - the car rental company (Budget) did not exist in real life on the selected location in Puerto Plata, so I tried to order a delivery instead.
After getting all the necessary details from / to the seller (warranty, delivery time, delivery price - 500 RD$ and my address) I received the bank account data for payment:

Then I asked if I need to pay ******* RD$ (forgot the exact price) - and, after acknowledgment, on 01.03.2022 11:47 payed ******* RD$ in the nearest Banreservas department.
By 6 minutes later I found the original price - and asked the seller how I can pay the rest; he understood that the money count does not match after a while and said to pay the rest via the bank too.
After I payed 8000 RD$ on 01.03.2022 16:46 in another Banreservas department and shown him receipt photo he wrote that it will be shipped on Thursday (03.03.2022) in the morning. I tried to speed up the shipping, but, due to misunderstanding, it was not shipped on Wednesday.
On the 02.03.2022 we contacted about Huawei wireless chargers (6000 RD$, but for me there was an offer for 4000 RD$) that he got but I decided to wait for the phone first.
On 03.03.2022 13:41 I asked him about the shipment status.
6 minutes later I received a message that 'the phone came out with problems' and, due to another phone delivery on Sunday, he decided to ship the phone to me on Monday.
Then I messaged him that the new shipment date is too late - and I need money refund instead. There was no answer, calls were not answered too.
Since I rented a car in the morning I went to previously given address to the shop - but with no luck.
The shop was present, but nobody knows the man nor the phone number. When I told about the story they called to the local police - and, after the call, directed me to the Santiago police station (I visited them on Friday, but with no luck - they said that I need to visit the police on the place where I'm living, in Puerto Plata).
Due to my location change - that's the reason why I cannot receive the shipment - I came to the Las Terrenas police station on 07.03.2022, 10:51 and filed a complaint about this case.
I still cannot contact this man - I can see that he was online in WhatsApp 6 days ago. However, the announcement is still active, with a bit lower price (******* RD$).

Re-check the shop physically before buying anything - otherwise, the money may be lost.
