“Super comfortable rooms”

Scott N.
7/13/20

The rooms were just utterly beautiful and I loved each day I spent at the hotel. To be brutally honest, I didn't want to actually leave the bed because it was the most comfortable bed I have ever laid upon. The furniture was very elegant and the room screamed beauty which was super wonderful. Had the best time ever here and super thankful to the amazing workers for the wonderful servicesI received during Covid!

“Extremely mad”

I do apologize to parksleepfly. It wasn't their fault my reservation was screwed up. It was Loews Hotel O'Hare. They entered the information wrong. I found out today when I called the hotel today. The guy I talked to explained how this works. When he said the hotel manually enters the information from parksleepfly I knew it was the hotel's fault. I'm going to cancel this reservation with Loews Hotel. If I hadn't called yesterday I wouldn't have known I had no reservation for nov 7 until I would have tried checking in.

Was a wonderful hotel to stay at, really have only one complaint. The night Valet guys were very rude, we have never done valet before so we were very confused about what to do and we were fussed at for that.

Spent thanksgiving in the hotel with my darling wife as a change from the tradition. Wanted to have an alone time and the Loews Hotel was just the right place for us. The rooms were very beautiful and romantic just as requested and we had a blast. Thanks to the amazing staff!

We just got home from a 5 day stay at Sapphire Falls Resort in Universal, Orlando and we enjoyed our stay completely. One of our most critical needs are good black out curtains and these were great. We didn't wake up because of the room getting bright at all. The room was very quiet. You could occasionally hear someone talking loud as they were passing our door but otherwise we heard absolutely nothing from any rooms by us or on the floor above. The water taxis were also very convenient and enjoyable. They took us anywhere we needed to go in Universal. We did not need a car rental so that left extra money for food and entertainment. The pool was lovely. It was a shocker the first time we got 2 margaritas at the pool and the bill was $37.50. But they were in resort glasses and 18% service charge was added. My next one, using my resort glass was just $12.50 and that was including service charge. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are planning a trip to Universal. There are a couple hotels that are even higher end and they include an express pass for the lines at Universal. We must have hit a good time to visit because the lines were not too long even without the express pass.

Well let me start off by saying that I used to work for Loews Hotels@ The Kitchen Restaurant and I left the company due to issues was beyond my control. My mother had a stroke and my father developed Cancer.

I have since applied to Loews Hotels again and I have been getting the run around where it's the point I feel I am being profiled and singled out. Jennifer (Dani) Martinez called to schedule an interview finally after 3-4 times applying for the same position that keeps getting reposted almost weekly. On the phone call she was adamant that she was not gong to consider me as I told her that the weekends I do have off is times I spend with my mother who is partially paralyzed due to a stroke. I do realize that going back into hospitality I would have to compromise to work (some) weekends possibly but the way she spun it on the phone call was it's a demanding time and etc. I found it in a way discrimination as she would not want to hire me due to the fact I help take care of my mother but I sent an email and declined the interview for the reason is I don't think she would have hired me in the first place per our conversation.

I have numerous times written Nell Farnsworth head of HR at Loews Hotels and she rudely ignores my email's and does not even correspond to try to rectify the situation that every time I now apply for Loews I get a Dear John automated letter from the company. I have excellent job ethic and work hard at everything I do I have been with multiple companies though my journey and have held long strong rapports with them and longevity. I feel I have been profiled and singled out and not giving a chance with Loews Hotels and I have numerous as stated above asked this to be looked into and find out the problem/s as I have an positive rehire status and many years of customer service.

So really the person/s involved in this would be Jennifer Dani Martinez from Hard Rock Hotel, and Nell Farnsworth HR of Loews as I didn't want to leave this review but now days these companies let a computer dictate if you would be a good employee or not which is extremely ridiculous you have to have faith, and when you don't give chances to others like you were once given you end up in the long run ruining self esteem, and end up losing good faithful employees.

I hope Loews Hotels Corporate sees this and finds out what the issues are because companies doing these to people is getting out of hand yet they go crying no one wants to work, well the problem could be relying in the company themselves young Jedi.
