ProProfs

We use ProProfs to create assessment tests for training new employees. We've used it for both orientation and product training purposes and have gotten excellent results in either case. We love that it offers a wide variety of question types, along with plenty of settings and configurations. The question bank is pretty useful too. Our only gripe is that we'd like the pricing to be more flexible.

ProProfs is perfect for conducting large-scale employee assessments. We use tests created with ProProfs to check employees' knowledge on software skills, communication, and safety compliance. This allows us to conduct effective training programs and save our time and effort. We particularly love the quiz library as it makes it very easy to build the questions.

ProProfs is a highly versatile tool that helps us in various ways. We use it to create hiring tests, onboarding quizzes, training assessments and lead quizzes. We've even included quiz marketing in the marketing services that we provide. The best part of this software is how user friendly it is. It has a highly intuitive interface, lots of ready-made quizzes & questions and all the essential settings.

I run a small eCommerce business, and my visitor count fluctuates every month. I wasn't getting a lot of new leads. To deal with this I started using ProProfs Quiz Maker to attach lead forms at the end of my social media quizzes to capture new leads and convert them through marketing efforts. I wanted to run a real-time assessment for my online students so that they could have instant learning. This was possible by creating online quizzes with ProProfs. The students could take those quizzes anytime, anywhere since they were perfectly compatible with mobile devices. We would get the reports in real-time so we could easily track their progress throughout the quiz.

Beware if your quiz is longer than 20 questions, probably 15% of my kids have website failure on longer assignments. Can't review answers when you switch to one question per page, so not useful for WS/homework. Many kids, on overnight assignments, have ProProf site lockup so I can see questions but they can't submit. Haven't had one of these problems with Quia (which is about half the cost when shared with teachers in your department).

Good design/idea with ProProf, but they haven't added features or improve reliability in three years.

It's a good program, but I was very disappointed to learn that Proprofs only cater to the larger company they can profit from. Smaller businesses like mine are out of luck and forced to purchase plans that exceed our demands.

After over a dozen communications via email with support -- the issue with this specific complaint was resolved. It took nearly three months. Yes, I will continue to use ProProfs regardless because the issues were eventually resolved and the lack of personnel may be global.

Take-away:
Use the form online to obtain a support ticket number (not a phone call or chat). The ticket number I received through this method remained constant, where the others changed and I had to reiterate the problem every time as well as the steps I already took to attempt resolution.

Send screenshots of the error in the email itself and not as an attachment. Also send all of the links that produce the faults.

Respond to the most recent email received on that same ticket number every few days to check on the status (you receive numerous generic emails where your reply will drop into a void). Make sure all prior communications are in that email when checking the status.

Eventually, you will reach someone on the other end of the communication who can/will resolve the problem. Again, this may be pandemic-related and thus temporary.

It is very slow to update each quiz and answers

With ProProfs quizzes, it has been possible for us to create customized lead forms and easily capture our quiz takers' information to generate qualified leads. The information captured is automatically divided into different marketing lists which makes the marketing process easier and better.
