I am trying to cancel two orders that have not shipped or been processed. Seems like it should be a fairly straight forward process, and not take too long if you cancel orders within 48 hours, right? WRONG!!!. Can't talk to anyone...must do all online.
These remarks are a big reason for not wanting to wait for the items.
I have tickets in on both orders. But with LTB you do simply get delayed for no obvious reason.. Think twice before ordering from them. The "Processing" takes MUCH longer than expected..then you have shipping. So, if you pay for expedited service you still may be waiting over a month for your product. Shipping charges are too high for the speed.. A shame...such potential if they would get their act together.

I finaly managed to log on through facebook only to be told I had no orders with them!!!! They never reply to emails and when I went on their facebook page they don't awnser you (despite being online to post new deals!)

Was weary about ordering off this site, I wish I read the reviews first! Paid for my order and the money was taken out of my account but I didn't receive an email or anything about my order being shipped. There is no way to contact these people, what kind of company is this? A big thumbs down from me that's for sure !
This business web page has become an order generator with payment facility and no customer service or followup. There is no contact info, no email, no phone, a malfunctioning or nonexistent customer service ticket facility. The links are a circle jerk back to the same page of instructions that ultimately goes no where. My order number 1510302315308172 was made Oct 30, 2015 and paid immediately (verified by my bank), they say the order shipped Nov 6, 2015 via Sunyou Mail Sunyou, WTF is that, Malaysian mail ?.. and here it is Nov 25, 2015, almost a month, and I've seen nothing, heard nothing, cannot contact anyone and I am frustrated and getting ready to call my credit card company about this matter. The unavailability of a viable customer service link is totally UNACCEPTABLE and an email is essential if not a phone number. this situation has gone on long enough to appear intentional rather than just a malfunction.... if the company cares about its customers, it will get this deficiency taken care of and shorten the delivery times... that is assuming that my order is still coming after a month now
I ordered a wall decal for my sons room early October was set to arrive 10/15/15. I contacted the company 3x to request communication about the whereabouts of my package when I did not receive it and asked for a refund. I was finally offered a $5 credit if I spent more than twice that (as if I'd ever order ANYTHING from them again) and told by "Sarah" in customer service there was nothing else they could do and to call my post office ..as of today 11/23/15 my package is delayed somewhere in New York and I am out the $23 spent. Beyond disappointed with this experience and will never order from this site again.
i purchased an item over 2month over now and the shipment is now more 30 business day.i have not received my item and i submitted a ticket,i was told that the airmail has not done anything concerning the shipping that i should wait till 25th of november.if i didnt get it i should contact back and i paid for the shipping nothing been done.if i cant received my item before the end of this week, i want my money to be refund back.

The pants I irdered supposed to be hot pink as it pictured on the website but after almost 3 months, tge shipment drlivered to my place, the pants I received is neon orange, nothing close to pink. Very disappointed & I hardly wear it. I wanted to return it but I'm not going to wait for another 3 months for the exchange.

I ordered several outfits for my children in July and they arrived within a couple of weeks. To my dismay, only a few of the outfits actually fit as they should have. I measured as the site stated. All other outfits (maybe 10) where too short. Some spandex leggings were actually stuck together and the color had came off onto the other legs so were blotchy and no longer blue. Anyways I had to send back the most economical way and had to pay for myself (this cost $108 and took over 1 month) for light in the box to receive. Finally get word that light in the box receives it and will refund my money but they forget that they have to refund my shipping costs. I have to send emails to remind them this. Set up a paypal account for the shipping refund which I did receive after 3 weeks. But still haven't received the rest of my $300 refund after continuously being told to wait another 25 days again and again.
Too many emails, too much time wasted, not good product, no phone number to contact, still haven't received my money, not a good review
Poor service item s never received
Order 3 faucits one had a threading defect and needed to be replaced. The other had a sprinkle head that stopped working and needed to be replaced which i opened a ticket for on Sept 27th. They sent me an entire new faucit which took almost month to arrive but without a sprinkle head, the one part i needed. I had sent a photo to begin with to ensure they knew what part i needed. I raised a new ticket Oct 22nd and they came straight back to me saying "We are sorry for the confusion and will check with our related department about this issue. It may take 1-2 days to get a response and we will inform you as soon as we get any update." November 16th today after 3 more requests for an update and all im still getting is We are awaiting update from the supplier.We thank you for your understanding in this matter".
As a brief intro, I've shopped on Lightinthebox for just around 5 years now. I am extremely petite and it is quite difficult to find clothes that fit off the rack, or online. Being this small, I always order by my measurements online, not by the sizes listed on each site. To that end, Lightinthebox is great, every clothing listing has a chart of US vs. European vs. listed size (with conversions into inches and centimeters). Once you do figure out your size on LITB it should stay fairly consistent. If you're used to shopping in the US or Europe be warned that Asian sizes are substantially smaller. For instance in the US I wear a 0 or a 2 in petite clothing, but my size can range up to a 6 depending where I'm shopping. On LITB, I am generally a S or XS but depending on the item, but might order an M or L to fit my actual measurements. The site now has a lot more PLUS sizing, so I presume the average American size 10 or 12 might be an XL or higher depending on the item.
The other item new shoppers should be aware the of is shipping time. It is likely going to take longer that you expect so if you are on a tight deadline, double check to see if the item can even make it. Items ship from China and before delete very, have to go through customs. I've received have packages in as little as 10 days, but I've had some take a bit over a month too. I generally use Super Saver shipping or Express, which LITB covers on certain specials, so I save a lot. I get an email confirming order placement, another when items have shipped (or, rarely, backordered) and any others indicating items that have shipped separately. Anything that is straggling can be checked on the LITB site.
I have never had to file a complaint with customer service, so I am not in a place to review those practices and policies, but my other experiences lead mee to believe that any problems would be handled promptly and professionally.
I made a purchase and the estimated shipping date says, November 30th but my wedding is November 24th and I really need my dress to be here by November 23rd the latest. I even chose the expedited shipping option for my order to get here faster. I don't understand if I made my order on November 11th.
Ordered and paid for a camera case in October. Never recieved it, seems impossible to contact the company about this.
Did receive this today and am pleased with it. It was ordered on 23rd October, but it would have been good if Light in the box had given me a clue about the delivery.

Order a pair of shoes, which were lovely, but they were a size too small. I need to exchange, they do not partake in exchanges. I was told to return and re-purchase the shoes in a larger size. I was told I had a paid shipping label. Turns out the shipping coast came out of MY REFUND, which was NEVER communicated. Also the price of the shoes increased by $10, or $17 if you count the coast of the shipping I had to pay for. They will NOT honor any pricing. I am required to pay the new increased rate. I will NEVER order from this site again.
They said my security code on my credit card was incorrect. They put a "hold" on my card THREE times. I never received my order. I work for Google and they are in the process I'd terminating this website. Additionaly, I've contacted Fox News producers who ar e going to run a story on this fraudulent website!
I have no way of tracking it as I used Super Saver Shipping. Of course I know that it will take 10-20 days for it to be shipped and stuff but I can't help but feel paranoid and anxious because I have no way of knowing whether my order was even shipped from whatever third world country this website ships from. I ordered this on October 10th, it said it was shipped on the 23rd and now it's the 7th of November, and I don't even know if the package is in transit. With no way of finding out if my order is even internationally signed for, I'd probably never know. But someone tell me if my order is actually shipped to give me some sort of relief but it's been past 10 days now for shipping nearly coming onto 20 and it should be here some day soon considering I'm living in the UK and the postage company is PostNL.
Ordered something for a Halloween costume on October 15th. The email said that the item would arrive in 5-8 business days. What they don't tell is the item will ship in 5-8 business days once they receive the item from whatever third world country they decide to get it from. It didn't get to me until November 2nd. Obviously that was after the event I needed it for so I asked them how I should go about returning it. They sent me three messages trying to convince me to take a 4 dollar credit instead of a return and all three times I told them I wanted my money back. They said I could have it back but I would only get "X" which was the amount of the item minus original shipping.i said fine because I no longer wished to do business with them. They then sent me the printable postage label and told me I would then be getting an even lesser amount because of the price of me shipping it back to them. I have never dealt with a company that required you to pay shipping for their mistake. I wish I would have read the reviews before ordering. I will definitely do more research next time.
I ordered a Christmas dog collar and I paid extra for delivery which said it would come between 6-8 days so I waited way over that and I decided to contact them and they told me there was a delay with my order. I had to contact them for them to tell me about this when I should have been contacted first. After this they said as an apology they are sending me a reward and it would appear within my account in 24hours..even that has not been received let alone my order! I have told them I'm not happy and that I would like my delivery money back as no one can even tell me an estimated delivery time why should I have to wait longer for my package if i paid extra for quick delivery? Absolute joke
My first order from them (for small plastic items). It did not arrive within 20 -30 business days i.e. 6 weeks. I queried this (its not clear how to do this, but refund button seems to do the trick), and they offered to reissue product, which I accepted. The second issue was delivered inside a few days as had gone airmail.
You have to accept that the items are:
(a) Cheaper because they are made in China
(b) Free delivery because that are coming via China mail and
(c) Slow delivery, because its cheap.
All electronic items could be stopped by UK customs for duty (that's the same no matter which foreign country you order them from). Its the risk you run when ordering phones. laptops etc
Some customers should think about that before ordering from exotic places. If you want no risks then order from UK firms e.g. Argos, or don't buy expensive goods 'duty free'.
They are what they are and I got my goods OK, which I couldn't source in UK.

Avoid at all costs.
Their products are cheap because they are poor quality or dangerous. We had a ceiling led light which blew up and could have burnt the ceiling if I wasn't there. I asked for a refund but they sent me a replacement. Original package was sent from Europe and the company card charge from UK Coventry but replacement was sent from China and they wanted me to pay customs which was as much as the product! I rejected the package and UPS advised me this company do it all the time. Nothing about possible custom charges until after paying for product which is misleading and kind of fraudulent. They are making every excuse and delaying having to pay me my money back!
my credit card company are now investigating and providing me with a full refund. UK trading standards also investigating due to their poor quality dangerous products and not complying with EU regulations.
Any lightinthebox employee reading this please do not reply as you are not complying with EU law and are avoiding every opportunity for you to provide a refund I am legally entitled to.
This company charged my credit card without my permission - I found out when I received clothing from them in the mail. When I contacted them to tell them they charged my card without my permission and that they sent me stuff I never ordered, they sent me a return label and told me that I would get a refund minus the shipping return charges. We went back and forth but they won't budge. Now I have to get a new CC and ship them back their crap at my own expense to get a partial refund for things I never ordered.
Unethical company, terrible non-existent customer service.
In answer to LightInTheBox's reply below - I have 6 customer service tickets put in with your company regarding this issue. It's STILL not resolved. The effort I have had to go through to get my own money refunded by your company's unethical charging of my cc is unfathomable. Your suggestion below that the issue is in MY not having put in a customer service ticket is utterly absurd and false.
Give me my money back and we will be resolved.

I purchased $251 worth of merchandised on multiple items and returned shoes of poor quality and leatherette. You think that was the end of it, right? Wrong - I got the bill $25 for customs (DHL) even though I sent it to an address in the US.
After several correspondence the LITB service rep wrote "We are willing to provide you a USD25.70 rewards which values FULL tax fee or process refund of 50% of the tax fee, which will be USD12.85. Could you please tell us which solution you prefer? I chose refund at a lower value just to move past it. Guess what - I did not get a refund. I got rewards (hardly) at a lower rate which means you get the "rewards " if you shop twice the amount! What a scam. I wrote back - "You said either rewards at $25.70 or refund at $12.85. I chose refund (even if smaller amount just to close the issue) but you lie. Giving me rewards (lower amount at that) and still keeping me hooked into your system by putting more money in. Ive had it with you. You lie.
Beware folks, do not deal with this company. Its not worth the headache.

Be very careful if you chose to shop at this company, I bought a NEW Lenovo A916 mobile phone from them and it did arrive according to the agreement, within 3-4 business days. But, they send the phone from Hong Kong, instead of sending the phone from Poland, as promissed by the customer service staff - european customers should have their items sent from the warehouse in Poland.
But, its neither NEW or in original condition as from factory - The Firmware has been modified to work with other countries than just China(this model is, according to Lenovo, only ment to be sold in China - Information that were not revealed before purchase) - besides that, there has been added spyware, adware, keylogger and bloatware to the firmware so some cybercriminal can spy on you can get all your passwords and banking info - And its not Lenovo that has modified the firmware, but some unknown third party.
Another evidence that this phone has been modified and is not original from Lenovo's factory - Lightinthebox has added their own shopping Apps - Lightinthebox App and Mininthebox App.
Thereby this is NOT a NEW product and its not allowed to be sold as such, nonetheless that excactly what the company has done!
Also, they have transported a product filled with spyware and modified firmware across international borders.
Its no use to factory reset the phone, since this just re-installs the spyware, adware, bloatware og keylogger. Its implemented in the recovery too.
When I asked for a replacement, they only gave 1 option for help - they wanted me to send the phone to their warehouse in Poland, and claimed it were so they could examine it - I said No thanks, and demanded that they shipped a NEW CLEAN phone before the other one were returned to them.
I would not give them the opportunity to cover their tracks and destroy evidence before I recieve a NEW CLEAN phone.
Its stated in their shipping document that their warehouse in Poland has no technical service - so how on earth would they be able to examine the phone in Poland, if they don't have any technicians?
Also, they wanted me to pay for the shipping to their warehouse - I said No thanks - since the delivered product are not as indicated before purchase, its the sellers responsibillity to carry all cost of return, not the customers. that is EU and danish law.
Lightinthebox closed the Ticket I used to communicate with them, so I couldn't get in touch with them anymore - and then re-opened it after my review at Truspilot.com - where they replied that I should contact them and they would help me - but they still don't answer when I ask them how they can help me.
So stay away from this company.

I purchased a dress for a wedding. I had seen it on other sites, but unfortunately I went with LITB! The dress not only did not fit but it also looked horrible on me.
I contacted them for instructions on returning the item and was told that it was "Custom Made". Really? I've seen this dress many times including Amazon.....
This was my mistake for trying a new website instead of going with my trusted ones! NEVER AGAIN

I ordered 27 days ago and they told me that if I didn't get my stuff tomorrow to contact them but I contact them today because i know I'm not getting anything because I order from there other site ( mini in the box ) and after 28 I asked about my order and they said it's delayed for 10 days then after 10 days they told me the shipmate might be lost and they will refund the money in 10-30 days and now light in the box is saying the same thing wait for 10 days !!! ...eventually both of them refund the money to be honest
I ordered a cosplay costume with expedited shipping, and a week later, when my item still hasn't arrived- I checked the tracking number.... It said that it will come NEXT MONTH!!!! And I ordered it so that it would come quickly, so I am not a very happy camper right now!
I ordered my daughter a Halloween costume on October 16th paid over $15 for express delivery (3-5 business days) it's now October 23 and it still has not been shipped. Needless to say, I have oe very dissapointed little girl. We live in a very small town with nowhere to buy anot her costume in time. Thanks to "light in the box" my daughter will be missing out on the Halloween fun this year.
If you want to buy something from LightInTheBox you should think about it twice. In July 2015 I bought 8 items from this company. The order was a total of $175 USD incl. a tax insurance. The tax insurance is incase you need to pay tax in your country on your order. If they tax you LightInTheBox will repay your tax. Well that is what they say - I had to pay DHL $72 USD in tax. LightInTheBox promise to return the tax money in 3-5 business days - that was back in August 2015. Now it's almost November...^^
So please - don't be stupid like me and buy anything from this company. The things they sell are the cheapest Chinese things on the marked. They buy something for $1 USD and sell it to you for $10-50 USD - get the drift?!

I ordered my bridesmaids dresses from their website knowing I might have to have them altered here. And it's exactly what happened, they had to be altered a bit here to fit nicely all of my 4 bridesmaid, but I was impressed by the quality of the dresses. They are really well made and the fabric is really nice. Yes, I had to pay an extra fee for customs and I had to pay to get them altered, but overall the dresses are as nice as if I had bought them in an expensive boutique here and still a lot cheaper.
Still have not receive my shipment since 24/08/2015 until 5/11/2015. They resend it on 25/10/2015 by airmail and still the shipment in China .
When I contact customer service , they write the same words in chat box .
If I order real airplane from Boeing or Airbus could reach before my light in the box shipment .

I placed an order on 15 of September and today 19 of October it arrives.I was very happy and pleased that my amlogic m8 android tv box comes to my hands after 1 month+.When i unpack it i realise that the power adapter is missing which is included.What i'm i suppose to do wait another month for the power adaptor?Now i have to pay and get a power adaptor to make it work.This all cost me more money than buying the item from Greece where i live.
I bought a parka coat xxl size because I am overweight.The coat took weeks to arrive and when it did it was tiny.It was more like a small to medium and I couldn't get my arm in the sleeve.Cant be bothered sending it back so I am nearly 30 pounds out of pocket.
