Have been getting for sometime the store cooked turkey breast which was quite good and authentic appearing, and tasting, but in the last month this has been discontinued completely in exchange for "honeybaked" brand pre-prepared product which I don't find nearly as appealing or as tasteful, it is more of a "processed" taste, and look rather than fresh like the store used to make. I don't even get the turkey anymore because of this. I would prefer if management goes back to their previous store cooked item.

I went to pick up a FedEx package and the woman that was helping me was extremely rude. Her name was Kelley, the assistance front end manager. I haven't ever picked up a package from here and she did not make it easy. She gave me dirty looks when I didn't know how to answer the questions she was asking. I'm sure other employees are better than this but I just had a bad experience today with her.

You would think that I would've learned by now! That grilled chicken is absolutely horrible, the chicken I got today, June 7,2018 still had small feathers on pieces of it, (legs and thighs), there was excess fat hanging from the thighs, which leads me to believe, the chicken is not being properly washed and cleaned before grilling. Fresh meat, and fresg veggie sections seems to be good, but this already cooked chicken is horrible. This is my third experience. The purpose of grilled for me is to be health conscious, but the chicken is always SUPER salty! Hope you can see the feathers from the pics!

Totally frustrated. In the past my online order and pickup service has been satisfactory. Today however I had quite a different experience. I have a vocal cord disability and recently sprained my arm. I chose online order and had no issues placing the order. The next day when my order was scheduled for pickup, I received a text stating my order was delayed and they would update. Thirty minutes later I received another text stating my order Is assembled and scheduled for pickup. I went to the store and proceeded to enter my parking spot on the app but there was no entry area. I sat for fifteen minutes hoping to get a text message with parking information entry. Nothing appeared. I replied to their text asking is the order ready or not. No response. I drove back home and texted my daughter, she called the store and they said my order was ready and could be picked up. They did not send another text for me to enter my parking information, so I called the number on the sign. I got a message they were not responding. I then called the store. As I said previously I have a vocal cord impairment, once I called the store customer service representative she could not understand me and thus distressed me greatly. They sent someone out to my car to get my information from my phone. All if this took one and one half hours, the experience totally stressed me out and really turned me off. In this day and age, companies need to be more aware of people with disabilities and should provide alternate methods to assist them. I wonder if my daughter had not called, would my order have just sat there.

Day old deli chicken used to be $5.99, some had $1 off stickers making it $5.00. New price is $7.99, no discount price coupons. Jewel expects you to now pay more for day old chicken than for a fresh chicken. Jewel is crazy, byebye... i'm done with these thieves...

I don't have door yet after one hour and 30 minutes waiting to unloading I never loading to them I lost money plus time I never happen like this service before

Is very bad reciv service I didn't make any money from this load form Monday to Friday plus no phone number to call receiving office only online check in I never do any load to jewel.

The Jewel at 4355 N Sheridan looks like it belongs in a third world country. The exterior cement platform is filthy and has not been cleaned in years. The main door does not function a majority of the time. The Fence surrounding the property is broken ( some one has now taken a part of it). The front of the store is dirty the awnings are broken. The inside of the store is in the same poor condition. Nothing has been done to remodel or repaint or repair in decades. The ceiling is grimy get, half of the coolers that refrigerate items leak and do not chill at appropriate temperature. Multiple complaints ( nothing is ever done).

I do not recommend the Pick Up and Go Delivery option in Chicago, Il. I have worked there, and so many problems occurred. 1.) If we do not have the item, there is a substitute option. It depends on the customer's preference, but it will specify such as same brand, different size. Employees ignore that specified request, and get anything similar. Price is definitely disregarded. Due to Covid-19 outbreak, customers cannot return or exchange. So, the customer is stuck with what they received. 2.) Due to new employees or just casual forgetfulness, some employees forget the customer's frozen items in the freezer or an item sitting out on the cart. Therefore, customers will not receive part of their order due to the lack of responsibility of the employees. 3.) Produce is picked using dirty gloves that have touched many surfaces or equipment. Also, unclean hands (employees) are grabbing customers produce. Employee logic: customers should wash their vegetables. You can only use water to wash produce, soap is highly unrecommended by health experts. How can water alone remove the bacteria employees just placed on the produce? I am not sure how employees have a clear conscious after doing these dishonest, disgusting methods. Customer Service needs improvement in various departments as well. One minute the employee is nice, the next minute they snap at you over a simple question of where something is because they (employee) are unable to handle stress. Lastly, on a positive note, the store is big with enough space to shop. They also have proper CDC guidelines in place inorder for customers and employees to feel safe.

We did not get 40% of what we ordered, and got items we did not order that we could not use. These were not substitutions. Store offered refund for items not delivered. Did not agree to ship the actually ordered items. Do not use the delivery service in Highland Park. I certainly won't.

What happened to the brands of milk previously sold at the Romeoville Jewel Osco? All I can now find is Kemps, the only brand that has gone bad before the expiration date. Kemps told me it was my fault. Will not buy that brand again. Please tell me Jewel where I should shop now! There are many other choices.

I've used this service four times in the last two years. The first three times at the same location. I wanted to keep giving them a shot but all four times and two separate locations did the same thing…they must encourage their workers to "substitute" items of higher cost value with items of lower cost. This continues to happen even when I don't choose a substitution. You cannot choose "no substitute." Also, 3 of the four times I actually went into the store and found the item "that had none of" and purchased it myself. Besides the substitutions, the don't give you any of the sale prices or deals that are shown on the website or app or flyer. When I ask the drive up and go about this they simply say "the system doesn't recognize the sale prices." Then when I asked if they could reflect the sale prices I would get if I walked into the store they give me attitude and say they're going to do it but don't. The last time I physically walked into their computer area and waited and the lady said I would receive and email and she wouldn't give me a print out of the changes. And no, she didn't fix the items to their sales prices even when I specifically told her and wrote down what they were on the print out. You could literally look up the difference on your phone right in front of them and they don't care. This is how they make some of their money. We are a family of 6 and on a budget and we cannot afford to lose out on the sale prices which is why I'm purchasing such items at the time. I spend the time researching and budgeting only to pay full price. So, basically, the drive up and go is not really a feature that they offer. They use it to their advantage to get more money from people and most people probably don't even know it! DO NOT USE DRIVE UP AND GO! If you do, know that you will be overcharged; you will be told a replacement had to happen (their number one go to is the 12 pack of soda is replaced with more expensive bottle packs of soda) when they have multiple of the item you ordered available at the store; and know that they don't care and will not adjust the prices.

Tip for consumers:
Don’t use drive up and go! IF you must…Don’t accept any substitutions for items “unavailable”…Get the print out at the pickup and compare it with the prices on their website and flyers-completely different right? They may give you some of the sale prices as to try not to cause an alarming difference in the final prices. They jack it up about $50-$60 each time.

I shop at Jewel Osco in New Lenox, IL., on Nelson road. For the last four visits, I have found items for sale that are past the expiration date, e.g., bagels, eggs, prepared meals, and meat. Make sure to check the expiration date before buying.

This is just a warning for buy one get one free. Jewel raises the prices so that it appears you are getting a great deal with the 2 for 1 deals. I went to buy pork tenderloin on a 2 for 1 advertisement and noticed that the regular ones, prior to the ad, were selling for $4.99 / lb. During the add, they were selling for $6.99 / lb. The bottom line is know your prices so that you do not fall for this type of advertising scheme.

You can get something to eat after your done shopping. They have a cute little area to sit and eat. I like the atmosphere here.

I shop at the Jewel by Lawrence and Cumberland in Norridge. I always have a great experience with Faith in the Deli area. She is so pleasant to deal with and so helpful. She goes out of her way to get what I need. She is a big assist to Jewel. You are lucky to have her on your staff.

I shop at the Jewel at Clark and Howard in Chicago, and was grateful for no line at the checkout as I got my Thanksgiving supplies. I'm sure that will change as the season proceeds!
