**I wish there was a negative star rating **** Appears as though it is an official IRS website. Charges $300 for absolutely nothing. SCAM EIN numbers are free on the actual IRS website. I requested a refund and I was denied in a very condescending and rude tone.

Took my money. Totally misleading site. Nobody is there to speak to before or after purchase. I would give a zero.

This site boarders on a hoax. Although they are a legit company they practically take the same questions that the IRS.gov site requires to recieve an EIN number for free and charges you a crazy amount. They are not providing any service for what they are charging because you still have to input the same information on their site. Save your self a ton of money and just get it for free from IRS.gov. Horrible business model!

Unfortunately most people won't find this out until after they've already been scammed. The company will show up in your top search results when you go to file for an EIN number. This service is completely free and instant if you do it through the IRS. In other words you instantly will receive your EIN number. I inadvertently used this company when looking for the IRS and was charged $249 without receiving any email communication. When I called their customer service for a refund of the service that they did not perform or communicate with me about, they stated that they had emailed despite there being no emails in my inbox or spam folder. They also refused to provide a refund for the service that cost them nothing to perform and for which I entered all the information. They are dishonest and must be shut down.

When you are vulnerable, and need an EIN for an estate (my Mother passed away), this company does nothing to facilitate the process. I applied days ago and have yet to receive the EIN. I tried contacting them via email, their online form and phone without success. Each time I call, the call got disconnected and I was never able to speak to someone. Subsequently I found out I could do this on the IRS website and get an EIN immediately. Wish I did that from the beginning.

Total scam. You don't need these people and you can do it in about 60 seconds or less... ALL FOR FREE. The IRS WILL NEVER CHARGE YOU to obtain in an EIN. DO NOT PAY THIS SITE FOR ANYTHING. See response below. I actually tested them but had informed my credit card company of the forthcoming charge. This email was received more than four hours AFTER I had paid for "expedited" 1-hour service. The IRS will provide you with an EIN, as noted above, almost instantaneously, but within 10 minutes on the outside.

Fraud posing as an IRS service site. I am now trying to get a refund of the $249 they charged my credit card.

This site poses as an official government site and charges an exorbitant fee for free government tax ID numbers. They get your credit card number and fulfill your order before you have time to cancel (which is not an option on their site--One must call). Their mailbox is "full,' so there is no contact or recourse.

Stay away, I thought I was on the IRS.GOV, THIS WEBSITE Looks just like it. They charge for something that is free. I canceled the minute I realized I was scammed and it was when I subbmitted my credit card. The lady told me she just works there and would try but it may take 5 days to get my money back and they still will chareg me $75 cancellation fee. Total scam. Also the charge you to get your EIN number.

As others have said, they do nothing extra and charge lot of money. Looks official but at the end of their long opening page, they finally state they are not a government site but few busy people will go all the way to the bottom. Do not use them, make sure you go directly to the IRS site and then apply.

They have ads which are at the top of the google search results for EIN, EIN number, EIN costs, etc. Their site starts with www//irs which makes it look official. They charge over $200 for something that is free on the real govt site. Shame on Google for enabling this scam

They only care about the money, and did horrible job.
They do not care about the job quality and do not follow up any applications.
The only after sales service is asking you to phone IRS regarding your application.

I already had a business tax identification, but since I change my business name I thought that they were going to update my new business name on it, I went online to search for the government site to do it, but the first one that I got was

My advice to you if you are doing business for the 1st time maybe you don't know about this kind of thieves on the street and the internet, and they are part as they said of IRS BUREAU. I called IRS they told me that they will never charge me because it is for free, and they advice me to use the EIN that I had before.
Not only that they sent me letter by stated that YOU'RE ALREADY HAD A BUSINESS EIN, AND STILL WITHDRAWN THEIR $299.00 without doing anything for me and I called my credit card and placed a disput.

This company is not associated with the IRS.My employee filed for an EIN not knowing that we already had one. I called the IRS and found out it was not them and was told THAT EIN numbers are FREE.
I called the company and they would not give a full refund or even a partial. The person there MARCUS loves to talk and reads a script and would not put any other person on the phone. He also Hung up on me TWICE

THIS Company is a FRAUD and looks to make $160.00 off of a free service

The site did as promised, got # with in 2 hours for rush deliver via email, but will say site a bit deceptive since appears very similar graphic layout as IRS site, perhaps it is worth it to the few that can not do it on their own, if you do not have a direct link IRS site can be very confusing, but for most, vast majority, easier to just to to IRS directly if they knew. Now I hope they can handle the confidential info I sent them for how ever long they keep it.

The IRS-EIN-Application website pretends to be IRS website, but it's a scam. They will take your money for a service, e.g. EIN application which is free of charge with IRS. DON'T USE IT. These people belong to prison cell.

These are hackers stealing social security numbers in order to sell them to cyber criminals for identity theft.

They are scammers disguising under IRS for vulnerable entrepreneurs who do not know the system. Spread the word around and run from this site: https://www.irs-ein-tax-id.com/. They are the first ones that show up as sponsored when you type in EIN on google and they charge you $329 when you can get this free of charge on IRS. They do not do anything special from what you would do on IRS site

This is such a scam. You can get an EIN and many of the services required FOR FREE from the government at IRS.gov. No need to use this service! You don't realize that they charge nearly $300 for a FREE EIN and only after giving them critical personally identifiable information such as SSN, etc. DO NOT USE THIS SERVICE!

Looks like a gov site but I noticed too late that it is ". Com" and not ". Gov". I thought the fee charged was a government charge for the service (but there is no fee if done by the actual irs). I guess, live and learn!

I didn't realize this wasn't the actual IRS website until it was too late. Calling our bank first thing in the morning to see what can be done to help get our money back. Very deceitful website.
