“Divan bed base”

David j.
3/2/23

I recently bought an IKEA divan bed base and I'm impressed with its quality and functionality. It's easy to assemble and the storage space is great for keeping my room tidy. The design is modern and fits well with my room decor. Overall, I'm very satisfied with my purchase and would recommend IKEA's divan bed base to anyone looking for a functional and stylish bed base at a reasonable price.

“Andy L... Shocking service”

Terri T.
6/30/21

Having booked Andy through IKEA. The original booking was for Sunday afternoon however I was then notified that he wasn't available to do the Sunday and was given Wednesday afternoon as the nearest time available. Having confirmed this through the IKEA website. Tuesday I received a message from Andy asking for me to confirm that the booking was still going ahead and asked if he could come round any earlier. Even though I work nights I was happy to have the 2pm booking as I would be able to have a sleep before he would come round. Having spent the day waiting for Andy to turn up my daughter received a highly rude message from Andy saying that his work load does get based around my schedule and that me working nights is not his problem and that I should find some that can do it through the night instead. Now I've spent all afternoon in doors waiting for him to turn up and receive this message. I've spoken to IKEA to complain about the service I've received through them as a company.

Bought a floor lamp that was faulty as the screw was too small to hold the lamp together, rung them up and they told me not to return the lamp as its not cost effected and they sent me a voucher to cover the cost of the lamp and postage.

A remarkable concept for one, it gives artists and designers an outlet a chance at being seen and experienced by the mass's if thats what your after as a designer, i would imagine so, some designers prefer to make one offs or limited editions.

Ikea is essentially a place where some of the worlds best designers young and veteran alike can exhibit and make a living off their works. It isn't a gallery or auction house it's a super large mega store i refer to as the Bat cave but without Bats because everything looks and feels amazing and foreign, reminiscent of high art, the brand or rather the stores embody and convey a concept and that is " a design for life" living defined by design, your living experience dictated by how you interact with your living space.

Aesthetic Marvel this aspect of Ikea is present throughout their entire brand and usually built to last, because of the demand and i guess mass production approach a lot of there furniture comes down packed but not to frown you can order and have it delivered permanently assembled it is costly but worth it. Other items don't last that long if not looked after but that is the case with most things. The stores are amazing and as i mentioned this is seen throughout, in their online presence and highly popular catalogue which they have printed and updated every so often.

They have stores all over the world, based in sweden and is swedish owned. Their entire catalogue boats an impressive some 50,000 products from beds to entire feature walls, lighting, dinning tables, kids bed room sets the list goes on, every season there is something new sexy innovative and practical Ideas for life.
