I had called this service in order to find a book keeping and a accountant, I had set up 2 appointments for 2 separate days, both appointments didn't call me or make the set time for the appointment, I waited for 30 minutes for each appointment, what a waste of time! I wouldn't recommend this service to anyone.

I was struggling to find an auditor for a specific government required audit. I emailed GoodAccountants Friday afternoon; a few minutes later I got a call from Al who asked me some questions. On Monday afternoon I had 4 interviews lined up with different auditors. All good, different experiences and different price points. I could have saved a lot of time by starting with GoodAccountants instead of us looking for the auditor ourselves. Extremely satisfied with this service.

Gave them $15k and the referral was a dud. My kids are now starving since they dont want to refund my 15k.

The they may be very good, but their tactics are less than professional in my opinion. Called me in the middle of tax season, Melissa Fernandez claimed to be a business consultant, and proceeded to waste my time telling me about client who is in dire need of an accountant right away. After 10 minutes, we finally got to the "pitch". If they had identified upfront that they were a membership organization, but had a legitimate potential client for us I would've been interested.

It is a very good and exciting experience when we get a call from GoodAccountants with a good lead. They provided good information, answered our questions and screen the potential client. They set up the connection, set up the appointment. Made it easy for us to connect with this lead that was a great fit and $50,000+ in first year revenue for our firm. The bonus is we should be able to work with this client for years to come. Without GoodAccountants we would not have gotten the opportunity to bring tax, bookkeeping, and controller services for this entity set up to do a large public project.

Don't waste your time giving this company your information or even using their referral service. I use them and they sent me only one Accountant in the Las Vegas area! (Here in Vegas CPAs are dime a dozen). The accountant call me and I asked numerous questions and I found he wasn't fully screened by for a place of business, references, a business website, and other information a accountant should provide to clients, so I politely thank him for his call and hung up. Then I called Goodaccountants.com and told them about the only referral they sent me and ask them questions about how they screen these accountants and, I found out they also don't tell you how or even if screen these accountants! Also their customer service department is very unprofessional. Not a professional CPA/Accountant referral service!

I was looking for a CPA firm to condcut an audit for our next fiscal year and Good Accountant's provided two strong auditors. From these two prospective auditors we selected one who will be our new auditor.

First off let me say that GoodAccountants.com (GA) is not a magic bullet. It is however a good way to steadily grow your client base. In my case, I initially paid the $5K marketing fee and ended up landing 3 significant clients.

I still had to put in real work on my end to close these deals. The leads that GA send your way are at the very least truly looking for an accounting professional... some leads are obviously hotter than others.

I recently upgraded to their $25K marketing program and am confident that I will see a return on my investment. The key here in my opinion is patience. One only has to do a search for accounting terms in Google to see their ads everywhere so it is clearly evident that they have a strong market presence.

Again, this type of marketing is not for every accountant... if you are not willing to put in the time and effort on your end to close the deal then this is not for you.
