Get some milk

The California Milk Process Board wants you to drink more milk (duh, who knew?) and in pursuit of this goal, they've produced this highly polished and quite fun full screen Flash game. As the family in search of a lifetime supply of milk whilst being pursued by the milk police, you must risk the "bad fortune" squares on a very cool, three dimensional game board that's very well illustrated and animated indeed. The whole game is very well done, with my only complaint being all the waiting times as pieces of it download. If you want to view the board at the start of the game, you have to wait. If you want instructions, you have to wait. But this is full-screen Flash, after all, and it's a very professional three dimensional animation. So ultimately, you'll probably find it worth waiting a few minutes for the thing to set up in its entirety. It's a single-player game for kids, though the rules are simple enough for adults to play alongside them, too. And that's probably the most fun way to play it, with a family each taking a turn at the mini-games and puzzles along the way. A lesson in Flash implementation and design, this is surprisingly good for what is essentially no more than a marketing tool.
