I used five star for the outside of my townhouse. Kerry gave us a price for the whole property and I split the cost with the people on the other side of my wall. They even sent a color specialist free of charge. I thought they did a great job. My neighbors had them fix things that were pre-exiting problems. Kerry did his best to appease them though they treated the crew as if they were servants. Then, at the last minute (because I was having my floors replaced), I called him to do a bid on the downstairs and upstairs hallway. It was more than I expected, but then the trim work was extensive. I know from the previous bids I got for the outside, that 5 * is reasonable. So, once I agreed, they were able to squeeze me in within a few days! It would be done before Thanksgiving! They came on time, did a great job, filled in a number of damaged places and even finished early. Kerry even suggested I paint the trim a lighter color, which he chose for me. The trim on the stairs must have been a challenge. It looks great. Kerry does a walk-through and then you settle up. They even put back my heavy mirror and chalkboard-coat. The only problem was that Kerry ordered semi-gloss for a room separator. I decided to use it anyway.

Five Star Painting in Holly Springs, NC is the very worst, unprofessional company I have dealt with in many years. They used my lawn to clean their paint equipment, then left many empty paint buckets in the driveway and newly floored kitchen, then denied doing it. Some items were thrown into the bathtub and cracked it. When asked about it, they denied that too. I made an appointment with their company to come out to clean up their mess and repair the bathtub, however they never showed up or called to cancel. They even lied and told me that my driveway was clear of their trash after waiting several days. I finally cleaned up their mess. This is certainly a company to avoid. My five year old grand daughter could have a better job than they did.
