“No commitment, no installation, quick and easy.”

I send out a fax about once or twice a year. So I've been coming to the same site to send PDF faxes. I find that fax zero is very easy to use. If it's just a couple of pages, there's no charge. If I need to send more pages, there is a small fee so I use PayPal. I save the email response after I send a fax. I like the fact that I don't have to install any apps. I really like the fact that I don't have to sign up for any kind of subscription or commitment.

“Faxes never sent.”

I tried to send two faxes in one day. The rule is you can send 5 faxes of 3 pages plus cover sheet in one day. I checked carefully. My first fax was two pages and one cover letter of one page and the second was three pages and one cover letter of one page. They make you go to your email and confirm (a way to harvest your email for sure) but seemed like a small price to pay if successful. The problem is that faxes clearly within the ranges (I checked) were not only being rejected, the email of rejection tells you they will hold your fax until they receive premium payment with no way to cancel. After a little bit I get another email saying my fax was rejected because the recipient's phone was busy for three tries. So which is it? Too big or can't get through? They whole thing feels very smarmy and if I had to guess they have an algorithm set up to snare X number of faxes that qualify for free as rejected hoping that people trying to use the free fax service will pay anyway. I'll just move to a different service and if I need to pay in the future it won't be to this one. It's really not a good look.

I have used faxzero for years off and on. My husband went to use it and it tried to charge our card 39.99 for some membership. I will not use it anymore.

Overall, very handy. Free. No strings attached. Only complaint was that it was a little glitchy with what emails it would send to, but finally worked well with gmail, which was my third attempt.

The site fax zero.com worked wonderfully! I sent a one page cover sheet and one page fax. It took about 5 minutes and the fax sent. Received an email from the company I was sending the fax to and they confirmed it was received. Worked great and so glad I didn't need to buy anything to just send a single fax. Will definitely use again if I need to fax something. I don't usually leave reviews but wanted to since this site has so many bad reviews and I did not have any issues using the fax service. It worked great for me.

Tip for consumers:
The fax did take about 5 minutes to send and to receive a confirmation. I did not pay for the service. I did have to use my email address and confirm the email. Fax was sent and confirmed by receiving company that it was received.

While looking for a backup faxing service, we tried Faxzero. We received a "confirmation" email some 40 minutes after sending and confirming the fax. Nothing arrived. The recipient's machine was tested and works fine.

Don't waste time with them. Use a different vendor.

Faxzero used to provide a decent service. But, for the last several months, faxes to congress are not going through. When I reported the problem to Faxzero, their incompetent, rude "support" person (who goes by the name of Connie), kept insisting the fault lies with my computer (singular) --- even though I provided documentation that it occurs with six different computers, five different browsers, five different operating systems, different routers and different ISPs. I've switched to another service permanently. I suggest you do the same.

Awesome site - I use it a lot, since I'm overseas quite a bit and I've never had one problem with it

I always choose the $1.99 sending option, which allows payments through PayPal and works very efficiently

HIGHLY recommended!
