I visited the Express office at 5310 N 99th ST IN Omaha,Ne. As of thus far it has been an easy process. The receptionist was outstanding and very helpful.(Trina) I am looking forward to a great experience.
This company policies are unethical and they use trickery to make a dollar. I attempted to cancel an online order around an hour after purchase. After chatting on line with two customer services reps, calling customer service and a text message from a supposed supervisor; I was told order could not be canceled. I was charged $8.00 for shipping/handling and must drive approximately 20 mile or pay postage to return the item I didn't want.
Beware of express commenity bank fraudulent activity. It will take 10-15 days for them to withdrawl payment from your account then they rack your credit card with multiple late fees and extra beware of this scam. The company is complete crooks hope this store goes out of business for their unethical scams of ripping the American citizens off. And making money from ppl with late fees and returned ck fees

God forbid you make a mistake on your order. I needed to changed the shipping address after I ordered my clothes and they wouldn't let me change the address and the order hadn't even been processed. All because I called 40 minutes after and not under 30 minutes after I made the order. What kind of rule is that?
So not only could I not get my clothes, I didn't get a refund either and I'm out $80. They said take it up with the delivery service, even though THEY wouldn't let me change my address.
I've shopped here for the last 15 years and I'm absolutely done.
Wish I could rate a 0. Just went in to shop casually for some basics when I notice EVERYthing in Express is, evidentially, see-through. This isn't buyable to me! :( lmk if you found something not see through besides jewelry.
Express is trash! I sent $200 on boots that was sent used and worn out! The exchange pair was worse!
Called customer service stating my order never came. Sheen answered that didn't understand English well. Ask to speak to a supervisor, they left me on hold. Terrible customer service, I also called Friday
I have been an Express customer for 25yrs and love their clothes. Their customer service has gone down hill. No one is helpful, they barely speak english and keep you on hold for 20min to the same song over and over. All I wanted was to exchange a shirt for a bigger size and the rep couldnt comprehend it. Get service agents in the US and stop getting foreign reps that cant understand your simple request.
Express offers great styles, and if you wait for sales, the prices are reasonable too. But lately, things seem to have gone downhill with the brand. I had multiple in-store experiences where the store seemed seriously understaffed and they had teenagers (the manager's kids maybe?) helping. They didn't seem to be trained and had no clue what they were doing, so I doubt they were paid staff. I also ordered items online that I planned to pick up in the store, which were never prepared for me. I got an email confirmation that the items are ready for pickup, yet when I went to the store, the staff claimed that they never got my order. The store was in an incredible disarray, so my guess is that they were just too overwhelmed to deal with online orders. I am also having issues receiving a refund for items I returned weeks ago. The in-store staff member handling the return seemed very confused about the process, so he probably messed up something. Now I keep contacting customer service to get that refund and they keep telling me to wait because refunds take time. Today, three weeks in, they finally confirmed that the refund was never initiated and they will initiate it now, but I still have to wait another week and a half before I get my money back... if I get my money back. I may still need to call a few times before they finally process it. Such a mess!

I was and A-List member for many years and purchased nothing but Express clothing for everything. Suits, Jeans, Dress Shirts, T-Shirts, Underwear, Socks, Ties, Watches, and Sunglasses. The designers for Express have really changed the styles that I cannot order anything but solid black t-shirts and underwear. Get back to what made Express the leader of professional clothing. -Andy

Love the quality of Express clothing, just cannot stand that they change the design so often to appease what's going on in the world. I get that you should adjust, but Express is expensive and in my opinion for professional and casual design. They seem to have fallen away from what made their brand so popular. They used to have a lot of solid pastel colors, now there's just too much going on.
Love Express, but please bring back nice clothing that is just simple but colorful without all the flowers and designs. Thanks

I purchased a suit from Express Clothing in Roosevelt Field mall in Westbury/ Garden City NY as a gift. So I removed the tags and boxed it as a gift. The suit did not fit the person so i attempted to return and I returned within the allotted time frame on the receipt.
They did not, with a condescending tone, allow me to return the suit which was in perfect condition
Make sure you fully understand the return policy of any store.

I Used to love this brand and would take any chance I got with new clothes on them. Now it seems they no longer care about providing a service that requires clarity. I ordered from them to have everything in the store so I could pick it up in person. Not only did they split my order but I never received the rest of my order. When I asked they reship it to the store they not only reshipped it to me which I did not want they could no longer cancel it.

I attempted to purchase several items from their website, and after several attempts, I was unsuccessful. The first attempt, they cancelled all my items almost immediately after purchase. After calling customer service I was told that I ordered too many items at once and was asked to try again making sure I ordered less items. I attempted a second time, placing two separate orders and again, both orders got cancelled almost immediately. I called customer service a second time and was told that my orders were cancelled because the email and billing addressed provided during checkout did not match the baking institution. This was obviously wrong... Banks don't rely on personal email addresses to verify transactions and my billing address was indeed correct. Additionally, customer service seems to be overseas and the staff seems to have very little knowledge on what's going on. Oh yeah, and I'm still waiting on over $3000 from those three failed purchases to be released back to my bank.

My wife bought me these jeans late last year. They have been worn a handful of times before the waist seam started coming apart and a weird thing started happening in when washed and dried with my Levi jeans...
After contacting Express to let them know they were only interested in me finding my receipt when clearly these are fairly new Express jeans...
Tip for consumers:
Some Express jeans are not made very well as evidence of the photo. These jeans lasted less than 6 months and had already had seams come apart and developed an odd shrinking of some threads running horizontally in the jeans.

…you want to be bothered by constant emails that, apparently, you cannot truly unsubscribe from. I've never bought anything from Express and yet they constantly send emails to me. I've "unsubscribed" countless times but continue to receive their trash advertising emails. This tells me that Express is not a trustworthy company and they represent all that is bad in US business practices. Commercial Terrorism!

Returned a item today and Tammy the store manager went above and beyond for me and was so patient and professional. Thank you so much Tammy and the express team looking forward to future purchases at one of my favorite stores.
And this digital age we order many things, actually most things, online. I have ordered from many brick and mortar retailers plus the typical online retailers and never had a problem returning items that did not fit. I bought two pairs of men's golf shorts online and my usual size and when they arrived they were too large. I sent an email to customer service asking how I could return these as there was no link on any of their many emails to me regarding the order. Customer service responded that they refused to take any returns or exchanges online and I would need to actually walk into a brick-and-mortar store to exchange them even though the store does not stock the items! I probably spend in excess of $20,000 a year online shopping in this company will never get another dime from me!
I have made several orders online, they have been lost or just canceled. I'm waiting for my orders and have to call them to find out it was canceled! Really!
They don't notify you and then when you call they don't have a glue what they are doing.
I'm cancelling my credit card and will shop else where.
I will say this about James a supervisor. James has gone out of his way to make things right with one of my horrible experiences with Express!

I needed to return an item to the seller "Dippin' Daisys". The entire process was a complete run-around—very frustrating! The dress was sold via Express's "Marketplace" (Dippin' Daisys) and I never would have purchased it if I had known what a scam the returns process would end up being. I still have the item, can't wear it, am out almost $50. Not a good way to do business, Express. I rarely do reviews, but this experience called for it.
Also, I went to their website to post a review about their poor customer service. I was required to click on "yes" to indicate I received something free and of value for my review. What?! Clicking "yes" was the only option. I did not receive anything but frustration and headaches from this process. I also learned that Express will not post any Customer Service reviews, which is a sketchy way to do business. If a business is treating their customers fairly, there would be no need to block their reviews about customer service.
I do not recommend buying anything from Express. I won't be buying from them again.
I love shopping at express! I can find both work and casual clothes for truly any occasion. They are innovative, stylish and priced right.

Disappointed in the way you work on your promotions. These people offer offers that they cancel after taking the money from your bank and you complain to them and they only tell you that they are sorry and that they will refund your money, I did not want my money, simply what I bought and they cynically cancel it, my advice to others buyers, don't think they appreciate you, for them we are a business, for my part I never go back to them, let them keep their points there are many businesses to buy

After wearing my $90 Express jeans for maybe 8-10 times the fabric is already fraying. Bad quality!
I have purchased fromExpress regularly for many years and have had great luck finding tops, dresses and jewlery. Not as much success with pants or shorts, but I can be picky.

They are horrible. It was the worst online shopping experience ever. I placed an $400 order and I received a thank you note with the order number and surprisingly found the day after that haven't received an order confirmation email and it doesn't show on my account and some of my items are sold out can't get it anymore. All what they are doing is saying sorry it didn't go through. Wasted my time and won't waste my money with express again.
