Hugh R. There are similar sites which come up on Google in NZ. Google are taking payment for these sites. I have complained to the Commerce Commission in NZ and they took it up with Google - the ones which were around then disappeared. Now there seem to be more. In my view under NZ law if you have lost money on such a site where Google have taken a fee to put it at the top of the list, the Fair Trading Act enables you to claim against Google. (I picked the fraud before I had lost any money so can't say for sure). I agree with Alan G that it does seem also to be possible to attack this through the credit card companies and get a refund.
