One more federal agency that Bush screwed up - I love how Bush talks about how he's all Green and stuff. It's such a lie. He keeps pushing ethanol subsidies, which just enriches oil companies and the farm lobby. In school we learned that to make ethanol out of corn it actually consumes more energy than it produces. Also, it pushes up the price of corn based food which acts as a regressive tax on the poor in the US. It's basically all a talking point for Bush's evil empire. We really should be spending more on conservation and new technologies. And if we're going to move towards ethanol, it should be sugar cane ethanol, like Brazil.
