I too took a chance and ordered from this hack shop and got burned. I ordered a 20" wheel with the Bafang 500 watt motor and controller. The wheel was shipped with broken pieces of styrofoam stuffed into the box for protection but this was not proper protection due to the mass of the wheel and motor. They shipped the wheel with a bent spoke which means the wheel must be repaired and re-trued, and also shipped the motor controller with a bent bracket tab. They love American money more than their bicycle parts.

I ordered a bafang 750 watt kit for my bicylce. As this company is in China, I was concerned about warranty service. Shipping is ridiculous so I did not want to be required to send anything back. They told me I could explain what is going on should I have a problem and they could take care of it without me having to return parts. That cinched the deal.
Soon after the controller went out (within 100 miles) and they required me to send back the controller! I was told they would pay shipping both ways. I looked for the least expensive as I had doubts I would be reimbursed. I went through the US Postal Service. It said it was trackable on the box, but the small print said only for Canada and the USA, which I did not notice at the time.
6 weeks later, they have not received it (I think they did) but I cannot prove it with a tracking number. Essentially, the response I get is "tough luck"
I would suggest NEVER dealiing with this company. They could have sent me the controller, but now, I am out the $25 for shipping and I have no controller.
