It was a relief using efax after trying it's top competitor. It is user friendly, easy to set up, no scamming "Free Trial" with charging on the spot like it's top competitor. The faxing was easy and the instructions were clear and specific. The fax was completed in less then 3 minutes a sent confirmation was delivered to my email. Highly recommended
Chatted with customer agent name "kristin" to fix some account issue. She/he ended the chat without asking if i have any other questions. I started another chat, it was she/he again. Ended the chat again after answering my 1st question. Worst customer service ever! Won't use their service when current plan ends.

Used one time and have reached out for several months in every way they suggest and still am getting charged 4 months in a row for an account I can't even log into after the first fax. They are frauds and will come under this post and say that's not what they want you to experience but they won't even help with the issue. I've been begging them to cancel and the customer support is just as bad as the service

Great software. Had an issue with customer service at one point, but it was resolved to my satisfaction and I greatly appreciated the effort they put in after the fact.
We do not need this service anymore, but we would likely use again if ever needed.

I signed up for an EFax corporate account in 2021. The moment I upgraded to a corporate account I had issues. I was unable to sign into my account, and when I downloaded the app, I was unable to use the app as it would give me a notice, locking me out from my ability to even log in. When I reached out through email and provided pictures of my issue with the app they informed me that they provided me a password and that I need to sign in using the app. Again, I emailed them explaining that I can't even use the app because it gives me a message that states, "No passcode. Please secure your device with a passcode or biometric login." The only way to exit the app was to shut the app down completely. Sometimes my phone or device would freeze and I would have to restart my phone or my device. I was informed to call them and I did. Twice nobody answered. Once I was hung up on. Each month I continued to get a billing statement with the balance, growing higher and higher. I would email them explaining I've never used the service and that nobody is getting back to me to help me. It would be radio silence for months. The only time somebody is contacting me now is because I have not been paying this bogus invoice for a service that I've never used. Now they are asking me for proof of all of my emails. I have some but not all of them. And since it's been a couple of years now, I can't even prove that I have called them. I don't even trust that they would say they have a record of me calling. I would go to another company before ever recommending this one! I can't believe I'm even dealing with this. I truly think that anybody that is having a good experience with this company has been lucky because eventually I'm sure something will go wrong and the only thing that this company will care about is whether or not you pay them. For the record, I've never even sent a fax using my corporate account. If I ever received anything, I wouldn't even know because I could never login even once once I switched to the corporate account.

I do like efax because it lets me have a unique fax number where I travel. I have access to both incoming and outgoing faxes where I have internet (even in the middle of a flight). The pricing is good enough for such a service. Their team are so supportive and nice whenever you need them.

Tried their service, received one fax, tried to cancel, tried to contact customer service and no reply. Got charged $18.99 on my credit card, what a bunch of rip off thieves. Stay clear and do not use unless you want your money stolen. Hate sleaze ball companies that so underhanded!

I canceled my trial because only 1 page fax was free. Only to be charged 18.99 end f trial. They did refund the money but they are not ethical.
Called long wait they are busy to get right thru. Several innecessary prompts. Instructed to use chat but there is non.
Too many misleading items along the way for me to ever trust them again.

Paid my membership for the year. Their system had an error and thought I went over my page number and charged me $20 overage fee. They told me I was refunded and then didn't refund me and to top it off they cancelled my account without ever reaching out to me and kept my yearly membership fee on top of it! When I tried to use my account and couldn't they also told me there was a FEE to reactivate my account even though all the errors were THEIR fault. Multiple reps I spoke to were rude and unhelpful.
I cancelled online during the trial. They are still tying to charge me and will not cancel.
Thank god I cancelled my card and blocked all charges in time. They will never get a penny from me but tried to scam me and charge my account. Still showing it as "active". So far I contacted the attorney general and BBB. Will continue on until inactive.

I opened my efax account years ago for work. A co-worker took over the account, she changed the pin and updated the information with her credit card for our company as I moved into a new role. She has since left the company. Her CC on file and email are no longer valid and I can't get into the account due to the pin change. I have reached out to explain this to Efax of the issue. They keep telling me they can send an email to the email on file (which is no longer a working email) or I can give them the last 4 digits on the CC on file (which is no longer an open CC). I don't have the CC information and they will not help me. I have asked if they can look up the account and see that my CC was used to pay the bill for many years and use that as verification. They said no. Now my account will end up being closed because when they go to bill for our usage, the CC will be denied. I am trying to avoid having my account closed but they will not help me

Their customer service is horrible. Can't get anyone on the phone... and good luck with their AI bot chat via their web-site. We're taking our business elsewhere after several years with eFax. Not the same Co they used to be by any stretch of the imagination. They charge our firm credit card and get paid, yet lately when our clients send faxes to us, they get nothing but a busy signal on their end. Very unprofessional looking for any business. And no one is available to help resolve the problem.

My experiencd is the same. I cancelled the account after bad services. Then they charged me anyway later. Seems to be a trend with this company. Imagine how much profit it is for them to rip off thousands of people for $17. Fight back.

I first started using eFax on a free 7 day trial through their app. Well this company charged me $18.99 before the 7 days were up! I couldn't cancel my subscription on the app store and later found out I had to do it through their website. On top of that, I was charged an additional $10 because they said my faxes took long to be delivered! I never heard of a fax subscription that charges extra money because the faxes take long to be delivered. I am disputing this with my bank, I don't have time time to be going back and forth with a dishonest company! SMH

I have been trying to cancel my account for MONTHS! Out of the maybe 25 faxes I've sent, 3 were successful. I have tried on several occasions to get some on the phone and it is impossible. Going to have to cancel my credit card just to stop getting charged. Makes absolutely NO sense!
We in frequently use a fax so we tried eFax. When it worked it was okay. However, they demand we change our password every month which is unnecessary and ridiculous. We asked if we can take our fax number since it was all over our business literature. They said NO. Then when we asked why, they hung up on us. Customer service sucks also.

This company is a scam. I never fully signed up, never verified my credit card. I never sent a fax. I got a charge several months later and they would only refund part of it. Do not sign up.

They offer a free 14 day trial. I had one fax to send. Really, who faxes anymore. It took 20 minutes for the fax to go through. Once it did, I canceled the subscription. 7 weeks later, I got charged $18.99. I called and was told that I am mistaken because I would have received a cancellation notice which I did not. I was told their systems are infallible and there is no way they could have made a mistake and the charges stand. I told them I am feeling ripped off, but no luck. The rip off was in place and they would not return my money. They sent me a manual cancellation notice. Funny they didn't wait for the automatic this time. BEWARE if you need to use this company and be on watch for the "no notice rip off"!

Way over priced. Horrible porting out experience. Rejected numerous times when trying to port out. Horrible customer service. Long hold times. Cant get to the right person. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. They will price gouge you then hold your number hostage.

Signed up for the "free" 10 day trial. Sent a test fax and was charged $10. Apparently they have a spend down thing where they automatically charge your card a minimum of $10 when you fax to cover any overages you may have at the end of the month. This was day 2 of free 10 day trial at the charge appeared... so I called to cancel... have to cancel by chat recording said. Took me 20 minutes to cancel on chat because of all the upselling they tried to do. Ugh..
