“Failure to produce product”

On 9/15/2023, I placed a good size order that state it would take 5-7 business days to produce and chose 2 day shipping. I should have had the order in my hands no later by 9/29. As I have received ZERO communications after the order confirmation, I called on 10/2 and was told the product was back ordered and would not start production until 10/22/23 or after. I cancelled my order. This is HORRIBLE customer service in a world of easy communications via email or text. I will never do business again with this company.

I have NEVER contact this company in my life I have NEVER order checks, I have NEVER received any checks because I NEVER order the "imaginary" checks. Now I'm receiving several calls and letters because they are saying I have to pay $189. For something that I have never order and I have never received. This is a scam.

Deluxe must be the only business online that doesn't provide tracking information or a delivery notice. Awaiting a delivery of blank personal checks? My order is late right now, and I sure wish I had a tracking number so I could see what's going on, but no. Too much trouble, I guess.

Their user-hostile online customer service form rejects submissions due to characters that pose a "security risk", but they won't identify the problem characters. I had to hunt down another unhappy customer's blog post to find out I needed to delete "carriage returns" before I could submit my customer service request.

Hear someone screaming in the distance? It's probably someone trying to get their checks from Deluxe.

Ordered checks 1 month ago
Called several times and this chicken head talked over me
Ran by a bunch of $#*!s
They have absolute no customer service skills
Still today I have not received my checks and when I do I'm going to spend them back
I can not believe that PenFed would deal with a bunch of clowns

They lost our check order 2x in a row. After waiting for a month, we asked for a refund and ordered through another company (and got those checks 7 days later!). Deluxe assured me that I would get a refund, but it did not appear. After calling several numbers, and emailing, to no avail, I finally talked to a human who said, "We can't process a refund from a request by a customer. You have to call your bank." I did so and am waiting to see if the refund shows up in my account.

It it nearly 8 weeks since we originally ordered checks from Deluxe. They never sent us anything, refused to directly refund us, and made it as difficult as possible to actually reach their customer service. I'm so annoyed and can't get back the hours I have spent trying to deal with this terrible company.

Their checks just take too long to arrive and they don't have tracking numbers so that you can see what the order status is. I'm going to ask my credit union if I can get personal checks from someone else.

They will charge you for EZ Shield check protection even after you have explicitly declined. I have had to intervene the printing process the last two orders because of this EZ Shield overcharge. They don't send out itemized receipts until nearly one month after order. Will not send emailed itemized receipts even when they say they will. I have tried unsuccessfully 3 times to return envelopes that they overcharged me for even though they said the return email is on it's way. Employees are obviously told from management to lie, overcharge and defraud. Fraudulent directives are probably coming from the top.

This has been the absolute worst experience with customer service I have ever had. I ordered my checks months ago, payed an extra charge to have them sent even sooner than they were expected (so they should have arrived in two business days) and they STILL have not arrived.

I tried calling the company and they don't let you get a hold of a customer service representative! I have tried emailing through their website and they keep on saying there is an "error" and that the message can't be sent (this has happened every single time I have tried sending a message).

I am appalled at the terrible service of Deluxe. And at this point, I believe they are a complete scam. They stole my money, never gave me my checks, and they won't let me get a hold of anyone to see where my checks are or to request a refund.

I cannot stress enough how awful Deluxe is. Truly terrible. I would give 0 stars if I could.

I ordered and paid for expedited delivery through my bank. They use Deluxe. I was assured that I would receive my checks on time. They have never arrived. No one at my bank (M&T Bank) or Deluxe knows where my checks are. I called both my bank and Deluxe all week and they kept telling me wait one more day. I was utterly humiliated at my bank when I asked for an emergency check and they said they don't do that anymore and no one can help me- pretty much, "get out." Deluxe said they would "overnight" me replacement checks. That was 3 days ago. Yesterday, I got a notice that I would get them today by noon. Today I got an email that says it won't be until next week. I need those checks! I'm so disgusted with both my bank and Deluxe Checks. Apparently, the original order was "lost" in the mail. So, who has them and what are the doing with them?

I ordered checks from this company on 12/23, just checks. The checks cost $104.79 plus tax and shipping, total $133. Their shipping cost is outrage-$23.89! FOR CHECKS. Upon checking my bank statement I saw a pending charge for $169 from deluxe! I never received a confirmation email so today when I noticed the pending charge had disappeared from my bank account I logged in to Deluxe and pulled up the order and there is a $26.50 charge for "ES shield identity restoration and check fraud protection" WHICH I DID NOT ASK FOR nor was it in the cart when I checked out. I have no idea if this order has even shipped or if I can cancel due to the fraudulent charge they added because they don't provide an order status on the website.

Deluxe makes checks that I have to buy through my bank. While the quality of the checks is just fine, the price is far more expensive than VistaPrint and other online printing sites. I'd recommend going elsewhere.

Hi this is Tiffany from PA. I got website design service from deluxe and they ruined my entire business plan. Do not get their service if you want your online business plan to work out. It was my hard earned money and this is not how any original web designing company would pull out.

First off I was given a few crappy looking samples with no branding at all. Like why would you put colors and pictures that dont even go with my brand strategy? The widget prices were not included in the package and nobody bothered telling me. What discount it is? Scammers they are. I asked for changes and wow! They never got back, never replied to my messages and emails. What use is your design service when your designer team or whoever was sitting behind the screen was just playing with stock images?

Why would I need untidy and cluttered website? And when I exchanged my concerns, they blocked me and never touched back.

A bang for buck? It is not even worth my single buck. It is amateur people running this horrible service. DO NOT lose your money on these scammers.

Deluxe is one of the biggest check printing company and it's too big to care. The price for business products are outrageous. With few options, I had to order from them the same form we used for years. They try to save money by going all electronic, which means not sending invoice and statement by mail. That's usually great... who wouldn't want to save paper and environment? It fails when they don't send electronic statement and paper statement or invoice. None was included in the package either. Calls to the their accounting department get forwarded to out of U.S. where they are only concerned with numbers, like how much you owe, but not helpful with anything else. All they do is keep on repeating that you owe them $$. Stay away from these huge corporations. Instead, try buy from your local print shops. You will be supporting local community.
