Cubender

Possibly the best builder on the block. My only comment would be that they could have more templates... But honestly, they make up for that in so many ways. A++

Cubender proved to be a great medium for building my website. It was professional, stylish and functional. Some of the objects that cubender lets you use can be a little confusing. It took me a while to grasp the concept of what a stack actually was for example. But still, the customer service was FANTASTIC. I had instant responses on the forum and I actually spoke to a cubender representative on their contact number, which was very helpful. Customer service is so important so thats why im giving it 4/4. This could have been a situation where I just gave up (I was only on a free trial at the time) but I was converted to a paying plan a happy for it. Another thing I liked about cubender was that the templates come with the package, or the free trial. So you can build on one, then change and build on another if you want. You aren't stuck with the template that you purchased, which I believe is the case with other builders.

I ended up with a website that is not an eyesore to the internet. Web builders get a lot of negative press online and I don't think it is deserved mostly.

This service is terrible. I signed up and built a site only to have it go down two days later. I contacted customer support through the message boards only to have them tell me to send an email which I did. Two days and 4 emails to them later there was still no response. My site was down and my business hurt by this company.

They have a long way to go to be professional so STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

After previously using another Flash website maker, I switched when the poor customer service became to much handle. So I think my favorite thing about Cubender was that I got help through the forum easily and readily (though I do admit the forum itself is much smaller). Therefore learning to use Cubender was such an easy process comparably. The builder itself is just as easy as clicking on an icon and placing it where you would like on your page, easy! And getting all the icons to interact is a lot of fun.

I ended up building my own site from scratch which was nice because I was not bound by templates. Though I used a template as a mould to construct my own. I feel that Cubender lets you be HEAPS more creative in building your website as it literally is a blank canvas for you to work.

My only issue, that takes away its 4/4 rating is that there is no unlimited free trial so eventually you will have to sink some money into it. I ended up paying $14 a month. Though there is no pesky advertising on my website and I get my own domain! Oh yeah, you will need to get your own domain from somewhere that sells them Cubender doesnt sell them, I used GoDaddy. In reality, you never truly get a free website, you end up paying somehow anyway.
