When I paid for tickets on the website, an error occurred that the payment did not go through. I closed the site and moved on. Later I found out that the full amount was withdrawn from my bank account. When I contacted them, they promised to solve it in 24 hours, but for 17 days no one has contacted me or even complained. I do not recommend this site to anyone.

Booked a flight with trip.com in early March. However, the Vietnamese government has suspended the visa waiver program for french citizens due to the virus. Thus, I have no choice but to cancel the flight.

I have tried calling and contacting trip.com, however, the only thing that they can say was « sorry, this is a non refundable flight, if you would like to have a refund, please liaise with the airline direct ».

The customer service are not helpful at all. There no point to buy from them as they do no provide any services.

When I paid for tickets on the website, an error occurred that the payment did not go through. I closed the site and moved on. Horrible company. I booked a trip and it showed it was cancelled upon booking because of a "payment error." But my credit card was charged. Now they are saying they can't complete the booking even though my card was charged. And also the refund is "in process" and will take 7-14 business days. I told them refunds don't take that long once they have been initiated. Total scam of a company, running a Ponzi scheme with our money.

I would give negative star if possible!

Booked 3 flights using the app. Filled in the passengers details, they issued the ticket Messing up my names, put first name as last name and vice versa!

I even have a screenshot on how it appears on the app and how it was completed! Refused to admit any issue on their end and trying to charge more money to change the name, when it's their fault.

Avoid at all cost

Don't trust trip.com. Total an responsibility. There is no responsibility and give you wrong ticket.please don't any ticket from trip.com.we bought the ticket and pay one ticket. When we getting booking confirmation. They told us that's deferent ticket here. Its not connected flight. And sad to us go out then come for other flight. But mom don't have turkish visa.pleas don't buy any tickets from trip.com

Airline company (check AirItaly) go to liquidation. Trip.com didn't even update me. Found myself when all history with Covid happened. My ticket doesn't exists around a month. On question about refund they just saying it's not in their system! But it's on every single official website including airline's! They still refusing to do refund, no ticket, no flight! Strongly disappointed!

During my booking Trip.com was warning me I did a double booking and adviced me to cancel so I did. After this I ended up with no ticked and a 125 euro down the drain because the ticket I cancelled was the correct ticket and non refundable and the only one I booked. Trip. Com advices me wrong 😑.

After I chat with Trip. Com. They promised to get back to me and they did Not!

I just wanted that ticket, it was never my intention to cancel and now Trip. Com is asking me to pay for a new ticket due to their incorrect advice! 125 euro!

Trip.com your handling of the Covid-19 virus has been absolutely appalling. I received an email on 2/6/2020 saying if i cancels my flight before it's departure it will be eligible for a full refund. I am now being told this email was a lie and that your company will not stand behind it. They will stand behind their second email sent a month after the first on 3/6/2020. I have used your site many times and i am appalled by this. Trip.com

Trip.com failed to inform us about the transit visa requirement for our trip, resulting in my parents being unable to board their flight from Delhi. Despite this mistake, Trip.com is refusing to refund our money or credit us for the trip. This lack of transparency and customer service is unacceptable. Please don't book any flight from Trip.com

This booking service will find any possible way to give you a flight that does not take you where you want to do, just to scrape cheap business from you for what looks like cheaper itinerary flights. We tried to book a flight to LAX. We chose Los Angeles as our destination. Of course this scheming business would send us to Ontario, 2 hours drive from where literally ANY other flight goes into Los Angeles. On top of that, they have absolutely no way of refunding a flight within 24 hours of having booked it, we had to "apply" to cancel. So we just lost 1750 USD to this thieving business. I tried to request a refund within 24 hours and we were stuck waiting for their response. I disputed the charge from my credit card company and of course, since trip.com is a 3rd party, there was nothing that my bank could do about it.

Do not use this company. They need to simply fail and let other legitimate business take over their space.

Terrible experience
The website has unclear information that led to a mistake which made me lose a considerable amount of money. When I contacted trip.com customer service they were so careless and didn't help me at all

Due to the Corona virus outbreak, I needed to cancel my trip. Philippine Airlines said rebooking was free for flights from Japan and Korea. I inquired and called them up (25 minutes of talking, US number from Japan!)
To be fair the call center agent was helpful. But when they emailed me the price to pay, wow it is like I need to buy a new ticket because of their CHANGE FEE. I cannot believe this company. I'll never book with them again.

Lynx airlines has announced that they will ceased
Operations, hence they cancelled my flight. Trip.com stated that my refund is estimated to be processed latest Feb 2025. My booking is on Mar 23 2024. Lynx stated that refund can be processed thru card company. I do not understand why it would take a year for refund to be processed this is unacceptable

I booked a 4-night trip to Las Vegas and found their rates are really the cheapest on the internet! Well, I had to sign in and get the rates as it was a sale for multiple days and offer to returning customers. Then I realized that I needed to stay for another night. I asked the customer service whether I may enjoyed the same daily rate. They responded quickly to me explaining why I couldn't but also offered me with what they have as the greatest value for the 5th night. Well, it's not their hotel, they are just an agent. Sounded reasonable to me. Checked in, stayed, and checked out. No problem at all. Love ya,Trip. Com

I am happy with the support I eventually received from trip.com. I was fully refunded the costs for my insurance and my travel dates were changed. I was even extended a "good will" gesture for my taxi trip between airports. Thank you Trip.com.

Nonetheless, I am going back to booking straight with the airlines, even if I have to pay extra. It took almost one month to reach a solution - In short, the amount of time I wasted on the phone repeating myself and been told the same thing and the amount of emails I sent regarding this issue made it a full time work for that month. The frustration was such that I am not going to be a repeat customer. However, Thank you.

Flexible travel dates issues

I have been trying for the last 3 weeks to change my flexible travel dates ticket with trip.com. It has been a mixture of contradicting statements from the customer service. First they could not find the felxible dates travel on my ticket and when they finally found it, I was told I do not have to pay and they do not understand why I got a payment link for the date change. It took me 3 weeks to get trip.com to acknowledge that I have a "flexible travel dates" ticket. When I called today again and I was told that "flexible travel dates" does not mean you can change the dates on your ticket voluntarily - it only covers situation where there is a problem with the airline you are travelling with. Hence, with my "flexible dates ticket" I still have to pay all the costs relating to the changes. This is really frustrating as I might be stranded abroad. I bought the extra package because I needed the security to be able to change my travel dates. Anyone with similar experience?

I received an email on Monday that the matter will be looked into, however it is now Sunday and I am yet to hear from Trip.com.

I was booking a hotel stay, after submitting the payment info received a message that the payment did not go through so I enter the payment info again, received two booking confirmation emails for the same stay and was charged twice. They refuse to cancel the one booking, sent me an email offering 10% return with an audacity telling me that this is not a lot of money. Clear scam!

Trip.com is an awful company to deal…
Trip.com is an awful company to deal with. I couldn't add a wheelchair to the flights I booked for my 81 year old mother. I couldn't cancel the ticket, as I would have only got a refund on the £24 airport tax I paid. Then I found the same flight £130 cheaper directly with British Airways. I'll never again use Trip.com, they are a greedy bunch. Save yourself some time and money and book your travel elsewhere, this company is shambles.

After multiple chats and phone calls...always after being on hold for hours, I have lost all trust with Trip.com Sincerely hope that you are not giving lip service to appease the review left at site jabber and those reading it.

I have given my booking information multiple times to the chat agents i communicated with and yet here u are asking for it one more time. Let me oblige, again.

I had to pay for another flight out of my own cash as Trip.com could not even fulfill the alternative they suggested
I incurred more cost arranging transfers in bangkok from airport to hotel...the list goes on.

When will I be refunded? It has been more than a week?!

I know that trip.com is a china based company and have a registered office in singapore...which is not fucntioning!

I am a very simple person but i will work with govt agencies in Singapore, Thailand and the region to market the fact how Rubbish trip.com is and how I was scammed.

Don't book your ticket via Trip.com or you will be the scammed with thousands of dollars.
I booked a direct flight tickets for my family but Trip.com send me a wrong flight schedule after charged my credit card.-they don't send you any confirmation email before take your payment. I've contacted them immediately after receiving that wrong ticket, the customer service said will get me an update within 24 hours. I waited almost 72 hours and there was no update. Couldn't wait further so I called them instead. After a number of calls in the last two days, finally a manager gave me a
Rubbish solution as we have to pay extra $1000 to amend the original $1200 ticket! Or we will have to travel with my 8 month old baby on a transfer flight and land in the destination at 11pm! Perhaps we also have to spend more money to stay one more night in the hotel.
Absolutely crap service!

Trip.com app doesn't show you the flight info on the immediate page prior or post the payment. It also doesn't email you any quote with the flight detail before they take you payment.

Worst support ever. Respond the next day without any solutions. Changed my flight destination to another country without my agreement while another options I've found easily. And the worst I cannot speak with airlines directly because I have paid to "travel agent" who gives a $#*! on their customers.

Horrible customer service. I requested a cancellation within 24 hours of booking, and they have not been able to process the cancellation. This is preventing me from re-booking flights as the airline recognizes duplicate itineraries for the same travel days and thus automatically cancelled my newly re-booked flights. As a third party travel agent, they have no incentive to help you. Avoid at all costs.

I got a great deal on my flight, but I had to cancel it due to personal reasons. The thing is the process to cancel my flight was super confusing and it took forever for me to do. The app is also difficult to navigate. Not to mention I couldn't even easily access my boarding pass… And all of this for no refund or voucher. The last part is most likely on me, but I still would never use this site or app due to how unorganized and user unfriendly they are.

Tried to book a flight on 7th of January at 2.56 to 3.30pm with this tel no *******8949
The person on the phone taken money 627.99. But not sent the ticket.
There are dis honest people with trip.com with above phone number. Try to avoid booking with these trip.com. As they coudn't still investigate the person who answered the phone that time.Still this fraud tel no working and taking people's bookings. You can't trust this site
