Awesome site, and experience all the way around. I'm a happy customer and a shop owner as well. The site is my go-to site for all my digital graphics, templates, stock photo's, vectors, etc. Best thing about Creative Market is the staffer support, top notch level of talent, and great community all together. Love this one of a kind digital marketplace. They also really listen to the community, and are constantly making it even better (as if that were possible).

After forced business closures during the pandemic, and a struggle to get afloat again, I was shocked to logon to my account at Creative Market to discover they had stolen my entire account balance. With zero notifaction or communication, they had introduced 'customer inactivity fees', to steal $4 USD each month from my account balance until there was nothing left. These were not in the terms I agreed to, however their site states that they can change terms whenever they like without notifying customers. This term is illegal, but they don't seem to care. Absolutely disgusting and predatory behaviour. Will not use again

They recently have reduced the cookie window from 1 year to 30 day... poor judgement from a poor customer team. Results. Well you don't need to think a lot, artists will jump out. Results will decline. Even more. The customer team rip off partner commissions for their own benefit as the conflict of interest dont end here, even their own team has stores selling product, and the result of that is that you see now in front landing page their own shop!

I tried to have my account deleted. They refused and only disabled it. Their excuse is that if you don't live in the EU or California, they don't have to delete your account even if you request it. Any company with this kind of mentality regarding privacy and personal data is extremely suspicious and should be avoided at ALL costs. I started looking at legal appeals as this is unacceptable.

I made only 1.8$ on a 9$ purchase? I don't understand. This is just pure steal. Even costumer service can't explain where are my money.

What happened to Kreative Market? Were they captured by bandits?

They steal money from the authors, raise the commission to 50%. My account as both a seller and a regular buyer was shut down after taking over $13,000. I will go to court. This company is a scammer! Do not try to buy or sell anything there.

They have no systems in place to notify if credit card fails so you can lose all the points you have saved. They basically stole all my money. They charge two days in a row and then delete your subscription and points. And they don't even notify you that there is a problem. Then they refuse to rectify the situation.

Lots of trouble purchasing a single product from them. After 24 hours no response. As soon as they got my money I could no longer get into my account.

Update, after a few days I was able to reach someone and they fixed everything to my satisfaction. So average rating for the service but the content I purchased was exactly what I wanted.

I have sold assets on CreativeMarket for several years, and I can confidently say creators should NEVER list their assets there.
I have now moved almost all of my assets to my own site, powered by Gumroad:

There are numerous problems with CreativeMarket, which have grown exponentially worse over the last 6 months:
- The editor is inexcusably terrible: uploads are incredibly slow, product prices are randomly reset and sometimes reverted to draft.
- Creative Market's affiliate/referral tracking doesn't work correctly & they refuse to acknowledge it. I finally managed to get IP & location proof that CM failed to detect a referral, yet they still haven't paid me for it or responded in over a month.
- The search is poorly organized and has been overrun by creators who spam upload the same asset several times
- The engineering team takes months to reply and deploys half-baked stuff constantly (ie. Their Help Center is currently a broken infinite loop b/c Zendesk SSO is implemented incorrectly)
- Despite all of this, they take a whopping 40% cut of all your sales -- most other marketplaces charge only 15 -20%, as low as 10% with options like Gumroad

At the end of the day, I have moved all my assets over to Gumroad, where I pay 10% per sale, rather than 40%

If I had to guess, the issues started when CreativeMarket became part of Dribbble, which has been trash for years now.

Save yourself the headache & sell your products from your own site (ie. Using Gumroad or Paddle) or choose a different marketplace -- CreativeMarket is totally not worth it.

I have been buying items from Creative Market for years. Their new subscription is AWFUL.
A) They have raised all the prices for all products, so that "20 % discount off all products" is not a f*cking discount
B) Their "drop" is a bunch of stuff that you may or may not want. Who wants exactly the same things as everyone else? I spend HOURS deciding which files I'll buy. I don't want a bunch of random crap junking up my computer. They don't even give you the option to selectively download what you want from their silly drop. It just downloads a GIGANTIC zip file and then my internet and laptop wouldn't work properly for nearly an hour. IT SUCKS.
I will be doing absolutely everything I can to purchase my clip art from other sites.
What a disappointing change.

Scammers using another name along side this one okayseasons Chinese crap item for good money do not buy anything off both these companys RIP offs scammers

Creative market is dying, and they're sucking the lifeblood out of the creators to stay alive as long as possible.

Over the years, Creative market has continually lowered their creator commission. When first launched, commission was 80%, then it dropped to 70%, then again to 60%, and now we've hit a new low at 50% commission... I got an email today that Creative Market is letting us "Earn 100% of profits!... for the first month of release of NEW products"... then they quietly slip in that commission has been lowered to 50%. Yet again, another commission cut, this time hiding behind a pointless 4-week commission raise.

While they're pretending to soften the blow with the 4 week commission raise for NEW products, they have also sneakily made it difficult for new products to sell in this first 4 weeks. For years they had a "new products" feed on the home page. But this has now been disappeared, making it difficult for creators to even take advantage of the 4-week raise. Those 4 weeks will pass quickly, before Creative Market dives in with their 50% cut for the next many years.

Finally, they've taken away the collective voice of creators. There was once an active forum on the site where creators would discuss issues with the increasingly greedy cuts. This forum has just mysteriously disappeared. They clearly fear the protest and rebellion that would occur should we be able to communicate with one another easily. They know if we were able to connect with each other, we would likely form an organized walk-out, pulling our products in protest. But we all will suffer in silence now. Whether the walk-out is organized or not, I'm walking out myself for far superior marketplaces out there. I'm sure I won't be the only one.

I can login to Creative Market fine through Facebook, so you think I would be able to access my settings, but no, for whatever reason I need to authorise my device. The problem? My account has an old email address logged I do not have access to. So I can't authorise my device or change my settings. Therefore, I cannot cancel my subscription. Creative Market say they cannot change my email address in the backend so what the hell am I supposed to do? It's rubbish.

Stuck in a perpetual loop. Can login, but can't access settings or update my email address. IT IS SO STUPID.

Tip for consumers:
They make updating your email address impossible (if you've lost access) and it leads to all sorts of problems on the site, including not being able to cancel or update your subscription.

If you join the cheap excuse of a membership and cancel they don't let you keep the credits you paid for. Most companies let you keep it or let you hold onto them till at least till the end of the year. Very predatory practice. I would not recommend going through them at all.

I signed in under my business e-mail for an account to get fonts for my business because I couldn't make a purchase without an account. I made two attempts at buying the fonts and the payment wouldn't go through. So I made another account in my personal name in case it was the name not matching the cards. It still gave the same error. Then I checked the bank and I was STILL charged even though the fonts were never checked out of the cart nor were on either profile. I attempted to contact customer service and an automatic e-mail told me their customer service only ran on business days and it would be at least three days for a reply. I got my bank to handle the charges and I went to deactivate my accounts and then on top of that I had to confirm my password and device, which I did. It gave an error message I couldn't deactivate my account. I got my money back but I will not use them again ever.

None. I was charged and received nothing from them. Not even customer service.

What is going on with CM? They removed the community where we could discuss all the 'news' and experiences with the other shop owners. They delete all negative comments on Instagram, not giving them the opportunity to speak out. They cut the payment for shop owners by up to 50%, referring to the fact that other marketplaces charge more. BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE. Bugs on the site are not fixed for WEEKS. It is impossible to find both new products and popular ones, because the feed simply stopped updating. I'm just in shock. I have never experienced such a terrible attitude before. Creative Market was a great company, but what is happening now is a SHAME.

I recently bought a product, the description wasa ok but the images were showing totally different product. My purchase was worthless and the support used the trick that the product is not broken ( it is digital product) and did not issues a refund.

Just wasted $9 buying an invitation that I cannot edit. Looked great but useless for me. Set up so it is easy to take your money but you can't actually use the invitation.

The worst services I have ever subscribed.

I first subscribed for the Creative Market Pro account. Not only it has limited and few assets to pick from. You can't even access those files you "purchase" after the subscription is over.

This service is a complete joke and not to mention it takes them days to get back to your question.

Imagine Adobe Illustrator locked your files that you have created from Adobe after you stop subscribing to them. What a joke...

This is a very straightforward refund situation 1) product
Not as described 2)support not given in a timely fashion when a request
For help 3) contacted support from creative
Market, and requested a refund only to get a "policy" statement shoved in my face, and no real resolution... Previously, if you'd have asked me, I would have given
Creative Market five stars and wholly recommended, but now, after having
Run into trouble for the first time and requesting a refund from
Customer service, I feel ripped off and like they don't care about their
Customers or user experience. I purchases a product, received files
That I could not open and that were not the files listed for purchasing,
And the shop owner said she would send me the correct files. Five days
Later nothing. The project I was working on had ended and I didn't have
My files. I contacted Creative Market customer support to request a
Refund or credit, and after going back and forth they finally gave me a
Partial credit of a whopping $4.50. Wow. Not even a full credit let
Alone refund. They don't care about your user experience or whether you
Spent money on a bum product... they don't care whether their shop
Owners are responsive, helpful or accurate... They don't care about you.
Customer service is not their top priority. I've spent years as a loyal
Customer of Creative Market and am a professional designer by trade,
Now I am looking for other options for design resources, and this makes
Me sad because I used to love these guys... After years of supporting
Creative Market I am not happy with how I was treated or made to feel.
They keep arguing with me about this issue, saying that they ended up
Providing support later--and do not care about the fact that I didn't get to use
To product because a week passed and project is over and I don't need the product anymore! They completely don't care about the fact that their seller ignored me
--ultimately compromising my use of their product.

I purchased a $39 product on Creative Market website (creativemarket.com) and some of the links did not work. I contacted the Shop Owner (the product seller) and Creative Market customer support. The shop owner told me to figure out why the links were not working. I emailed Creative Market three times and each time my support ticket was marked as "Solved" shortly after being submitted, although they never responded. This site seems to be just a hosting site for sellers and there is NO accountability. The sellers get to sell products that don't work and not have to answer to anyone. Great place for sellers but terrible for buyers.

I HATE THIS SITE! I CANT CONTACT ANYONE ABOUT THESE FILES THAT WILL NO OPEN ON MY MACBOOK AS STATED ON SITE! NO REAL HELP TOOLS IM CONTACTING MY BANK AS THIS SEEMS TO BE FRAUD/SCAM SITE!

Here's my message to her, I don't know if that man Eugénie bribes them or what because inspite of repeatedly getting negative reviews, he is still using their site like eBay. They had banned another Muslim seller by making such lame excuses, why don't they ban or Block This Fraud FrimuFilms? This is sheer #Racism.
According to you'll, Frustrated customers like me who are already having more than 3 lakh cases in their country, who are suffering from incapacitating illnesses like fibromyalgia, who are already being subjected to domestic violence and constant home abuse due to the never-ending lockdown should lick your seller's feet (who impudently started off with the very cocky "Hello my Dear Buyer" and no it wasn't by default) we should put up with them instead of asking them to F* off that too after they've erroneously said that we are the first to raise a complain and that those miniatures are all we get when we are promised an actual bundle? After you have completely defended them and refused a refund and we are left helpless, when our comments are all taken down (where we have exposed the seller to help all other users who could get scammed) we are not supposed to take out any aggression or ask you'll to $#*! off? Someone told me, "I'm glad you did that before they blocked you cuz they would've done that anyway, to cover up their mistakes and take down your comment." He so many bad reviews under his store that you are losing all your credibility due to him and he isn't the only one selling sample pics, you yourself are an EXTREMIST Beth, you prove that Muslims aren't but you are because look at your ego, you BANNED or OSTRACISED me permanently for calling you out. I got a flare up and I blacked out the very same night cuz I had cried the whole day, I became sick because of them, I instantly got a low BP episode, I was already getting convulsions and I wasn't able to bear all the stress, I'd also shared about it on facebook, this incident happened around 2 months back…
I'm sure they wouldn't have taken any responsibility for my life, right?

Tip for consumers:
Steer clear from them, they “permanently” ban you, hack your card details and take away all your backup files once you pay them, if you ever leave an honest comment, they won’t take in in their stride instead they’ll support the seller and PERMANENTLY block your devices with csrf site blockers. Immature.
