It seems Cheaper than Dirt only carries made in China. I purchased a tactical leg holster that adjust as to carry a large cal auto with a light and laser set up. When it arrives at first looks ok. Upon inspection I found that the only thing that keeps the pistol from falling though the holster is a vel strap. Once this wears, about 3 weeks, gun falls through.If you order from these guys, stick to ammo.If anyone is interested I havethree new leg holsters. Made in China... FREE. ONe Star. They did ship it.

My favorite website for researching firearms. I actually dont purchase from there because they are NEVER in stock. But it is nice that they have many many firearm selections on their website.

Worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Refused to assist me with shipping to a different address so that I could be there to sign for sights and scopes. Then after I complained they offered to do it for $15 a package. They denied that they ever told me that but I have the emails to prove it. Do yourself a favor and run as far away from this company as you can. They are a horrible company.

I ordered two-250 round loose packed loaded (55gr) brass 233 Rem. Ammunition
Their website and their boxes are marked clearly "American Quality Ammunition MADE IN USA"
Upon inspecting the ammunition, the head stamp on ALL 500 brass rounds are marked "WOLF 223 Rem."
I have sent Cheaper Than Dirt an email requesting an explanation as to why they advertised American-made and ship Russian "Wolf"?
There is been no reply.

Once again, falsely advertising a product they either did not have or would not honor the price on. I'm not sure if they are totally incompetent when it comes to inventory or completely unethical. Maybe they are trying to drive people to their site or using these deceptive orders that they cancel as a cash flow system since it takes time to get a refund.
Either way, this company is as "Worthless as Dirt" and you are a fool if you trust them.

HORRIBLE SERVICE! Ordered 300 rounds of 5.56 ammo over a month ago... Never got it! When I called to find out what was going on/or have it resent... I was basically called a Liar! I was told that they would not resend my item or refund my money because "i could have gotten my order and be lieing". Even though the tracking information clearly shows that my order was never delivered!

Cheaperthandirt.com used to be an awesome company and resource. Super affordable and decent quality. Prices have skyrocketed… For the one of 12 days Christmas sale they actually offered their branded hat for $8. Well merry f——ing christmas. I've always needed a stupid hat with your brand on it. Lol. The other daily specials were a joke as well. Stop being greedy. You had a good thing going.

First time I ever ordered through cheaper than dirt, I waited for a week and a half to receive an empty package.
A bunch of adds and a sticker was in the envelope, but no magazine for my SIG P290rs.
Got it on a Saturday so I guess I have to wait til Monday to even talk to anyone.
I would not recommend them to anyone.
You know what they say about first impressions.
It is beyond me how someone could forget to mail the item a customer ordered.
Maybe they should worry about shopping the item and not worry about advertising for other people.

Made the mistake of signing up for their newsletter, instantly swamped with spam/ junk mail / virus emails, still receive 40 plus a day one year later! THEY SELL EMAIL ADDRESSES! Makes you wonder how secure your credit card info is with them?

Shipping is why I chose other in the category for my review. I basically picked out 3 (20 round) boxes of ammo (223), a 6 oz one point bungee sling, a 3 oz mag coupler, and 13 oz stock with pistol grip combo. My total was around $174 and shipping was a whopping $47. I went live chat and explained that I had my own ups account and would like to use it bcuz I knew this shipping was inflated by at least 60-70%. I was told no way. So I told them what I knew as a business owner. That if my shipping was 70% lower than theirs and they ship 1000 times more items than I do that their shipping prices were only there to enhance the margins on their products which are supposedly cheaper than dirt. Dont be fooled by this. If you use the company, order one box of ammo at a decent price and see what the shipping rate is if u dont believe my review. Total rip off. And I have the online chat via email to prove my point if anyone is skeptical.

The good: I've never had a problem with an order. It has always arrived within 7 or 8 days and has always been correct.

The bad: shipping costs are much higher than they should be. I live in CA and they won't ship many CA legal items there including some gun holsters, CA legal pepper spray, and many more items. Instead of doing their research, they just refuse to ship many legal items to CA. By the time you include shipping charges to ammo prices, the prices aren't very good anymore.

Avoid like a case of the dripping herpes, they are guilty of false advertising. They list ammo at cheaper than dirt prices to get listed in first for ammo search engines then after purchasing the ammo and having my credit card charged they cancel my purchase and now I must wait 3 days to get my money back. Phucking cockroaches!

Called 3 times about shipping address. Each time I called no one knew anything about my previous calls and they ended shipping it out wrong anyway.

I've ordered from here plenty and have had no troubles dealing with them.

I have seen some negative reviews about their customer service though, which I can't comment on considering I have never needed to contact them.

Cheaper Than Dirt is quite a brand name that depicts the product and service that you will receive from this online company. I recently purchased a new concealed carry firearm to fit my ankle holster and was shipped a Used and Defective one instead. When I contacted their customer No Service department, the agent was obtuse and extremely mal mannered and tried to shift the blame on the customer for their poor business practices.

They refused to fix their problem and exchange the used item for a new one item. They basically said tuff luck buddy, youre on your own!

Save yourself a tremendous headache and avoid this company at all cost. Cheaper Than Dirt cannot be trusted as a reputable online business and should change their name to Piece of Dirt! = /

I tried to place an order from Cheaper than dirt through their website for a couple magazines, the order did not go through but they charged me anyway. I called customer service and they told me it was declined, however I called my credit card company and they said the order was approved, which was also showing approved on my cards transaction history. The customer service lady at CTD seemed sketchy and was trying to get my card number when I contacted them again to send a receipt of declination to get my money back. The whole experience had the stench of a scam. Do yourself a favour and avoid these con artists.

I am a fire arms enthusiast. Cheaper Than Dirt offers a line of products that supports my gun hobby. Good prices, great selection of products and shipping to your door.

Some items are a good price and others are through the roof. But the shipping is outrageous. Ill never buy from them again. There are plenty of better options out there like Weapons World. Good prices and cheap shipping. Plus you can actually talked to someone when you call.

Placed an order with cheaper than dirt using an Am Express card for payment. The next day fradulent online charges were made at Walmart.com with my Am Express card.
Since the only place the card had been used was at cheaper than dirt I sent them a message letting them know that they might have a thief working for them. They did not have the courtesy to respond. No more cheaper than dirt for me.

My order was just for some survival cards and matches, and probably weighed less than half a pound, and the shipping charges, for their cheapest choice to ship, was $17.00. They just went from a good price, not great but good, to very expensive!
This is my first and last order with Cheaper Than Dirt.

Ordered an acog scope paid the extra money for the two day shipping. Waited two days no tracking number but my card had been charged. Contacted customer service told me it would be shipping out that afternoon. The following day still no tracking number called to cancel my order and they told me it was to late to cancel and that they were not sure when it would ship. Stick with Amazon or Midway.

I had read several bad reviews but they had a great price on an item I was looking for so I gave them a try. Their chat line answered all my questions and my order was shipped in one day. Communication about my order was timely and accurate. I had my order the second day. My experience could not have been better

I ordered a gun barrel and it arrived to me damaged. My dissatisfaction comes from their customer service which is available only through a livechat feature, no number to call. I informed the woman I would like a REPLACEMENT for my product, because it arrived damaged and is simply unsatisfactory. She informed me a replacement will be shipped if they have it in stock. I shipped the product back, and soon the money was refunded on my credit card. I got back in contact with customer support through livechat, stating I was told I would get a replacement, not a refund, and she said No it says you requested a refund, sorry. I said no I even have a copy of the email stating I'd like a replacement, she said well the product is in stock you can order it again, thanks, anything else? And I simply said OK I already paid for shipping for a damaged product and now you won't replace it you're making me order it again and pay again for shipping? That's simply ridiculous. I will NOT be going through them again, they did, to their credit, refund the shipping cost of the original order after I argued with them, but still, I was NOT satisfied at all. I will be taking my business elsewhere. The attached picture is how it came to me right out of the packaging. I wish I could tell you I dropped it on accident but that's how it came, and it would be fine if they could actually do a proper replacement. Shame on them.
