We found that the owners of Baron Woodwork Inc. were very arrogant and rude but most importantly they were totally incompetent. Rather than take the time to do a proper assessment he spent 2 hours doing a whirlwind tour examining 132 damaged items. He rushed from item to item and missed about three quarters of the damage. Not only did he miss most of the damage but his assessment of the ages were totally inaccurate. He came totally unprepared, his camera ran out of power after the first 5 pictures so he had to resort to his cell phone. His wife and him then quickly prepared the report that night before he was to leave on holidays. The report was so inaccurate that it was hard to believe that he looked at the same furniture. His assessments on most of the items were totally inaccurate. We also found out that his idea of repairing furniture is to fill in holes, gouges and dents with plastic filler so that the customer won't notice. The report that his wife submitted was written in a very rude and arrogant manner and was full of inflammatory statements. It is hard to believe that people like this remain in business. When I informed the owners of the company that I would be posting a negative review about their work they had their lawyer send me a very strongly worded letter threatening to sue me. Unfortunately for them I was fully aware of my legal rights to post negative reviews as long as they stated the truth. It does make me wonder however how many other negative reviewers they was able to intimidate and scare off this way.
