Be aware and do not buy Final Sales at Banana Republic. If you clothing won't fit ( you buy online and can't try on) or you change your mind the customer service will tell you that the only option you have is to sell it or donate it to Threat up, which is a form of Good Will. I will be donating my final sale to Good Will because it will take less stress. The jeans sizing at Banana is terrible and inaccurate, they are very big and long so you can never buy your regular size because there is always misfit. I will be shopping at J.Crew and Lululemon where they take final sales for store credit in the case of misfit

BR used to be quite a good company. Now the fabrics are a lower level quality with much less stylish designs. Hold time for a return was long and site didn't allow me to log in for the return. Fashion photos on site are creepy, humanoids instead of down-to-earth humans.

Banana republic policies are designed to scam customers. I will never buy from them anymore.
They cancel half od my order and hour after I placed it so I get an email an hour later… hour and ten minites I call to cancel the rest. I am told that the request was swnt to the warehouse but they can't promise that it would be cancelled. But no worries the order is not even supposed to ship until 10 days later if tou end up getting it please just return it. 12 days later I get the order I previously tried to cancel and when I try to return it guess what? I am told is non returnable. Scammers… called several times but just wasted my time.

My recent online shopping experience with Banana Republic was very frustrating. After placing my order, I didn't receive all the items. I reached out to their customer service, where I had to explain the issue to multiple agents as the conversation kept getting disconnected. This was incredibly time-consuming and irritating. Eventually, they initiated the refund and I was advised to reorder, but by then, the item I initially wanted was out of stock.

I followed their advice and placed an order for an alternative item, hoping for the best possible discount as promised. However, when I provided the new order number, the agent informed me that they could only consider the last order, causing further frustration.

I was even willing to wait for the out-of-stock item if they would restock it, but the conversation abruptly ended once again. I'm unsure if the issue was with their website or the agents, but after wasting a lot of time, I ended up canceling my order due to the inconvenience.

In addition to that the $25 coupon they provided in the email, twice- after purchase- none of them worked and when checked by the agent, it had already expired.

I never thought I would be writing these reviews about Banana Republic, but my experience was really disappointing!

What mediocre clothes for inflated unrealistic prices. I used to love this store but now not only could I not afford to shop here but I would not pay these prices even if I could afford for such drab boring clothes. Cosmetic jewelry prices also unbelievable.

One of my favorite and go-to shops for casual clothes. I can put together great combinations and looks for every day wear. It's casual, comfy and professional all in one. They often have bargain sales and a decent rewards program. I can always leave with something good when I visit.

After years of being a loyal customer I finally have to say that the customer service for returns is very poorly.
Hardly reduced items are final sales and customers are forced to keep their online orders. The prices have increased greatly but not the quality of the clothing. Banana Republic doesn't provide any more a good customer service. There are many more good retailers out there where I will shop from now on.

Estimated shipping date at time if purchase several days earlier than actual eta when shipping confirmation was ultimately sent. As it turned out id be out of the country for the real delivery date. I contacted customer service to either expedite or hold the shipment, they would do nothing for and had no interest whatsoever in helping. Too many options out there to waste my time and money with them again.

Banana Republic now has a strict 30-day return policy. This applies to gifts too. So even if you have an item with tags and receipt and it's been 31 days since your purchase, they will not let you exchange or return the item, even for store credit. Considering their price point and target demographic, this is an extremely disappointing policy and well below industry standard. Target has a better return policy. After a decade of exclusively shopping at BR for work clothes, no more.

I recently purchased an item online, which didn't fit properly and now I would like to return it and its final sale, so I'm stuck with the item. The Company will not make any exceptions, online purchases should never be final sale, that should be illegal. How is Banana Republic not backing their product? They not only doubled the prices of their clothes during the pandemic, they have also basically terminated all costumer service. I'm so disappointed in this company, what a shame.

This brand used to represent luxury, beauty and function in design, and aspirational fashion but sadly it has deteriorated over time specially after Marka Hansen stepped down. Its designs lack inspiration, freshness and edginess and the brand lacks direction and clarity in vision. I don't understand their aesthetics. Their sizing is off, too. Gone are the modern and beautiful designs, replaced by boring and tacky ones.

I've been sent totally the wrong item twice in the space of afew months and the returns policy puts all responsibility on the customer to deal with the company error, really poor.I won't be buying from them any more. They're clothes are good but the lack of quality with their service has completely put me off.

They have a sizing guide so when you buy you think you are getting the right size.

Then when it comes, it doesn't fit.

And guess what, they don't let you return or exchange it!

I just wasted over $200 on my order. Will never order again from them.

I contacted the Valley Square store this evening to find out when the 50% off sale ends. Lisa answered and said, I think it ends on the 4th. So I asked her to please confirm that this information is accurate. She talked to me in a very sarcastic way and did not answer my question. You really need to know when your sale begins and ends(your job) and act professionally, lose the sarcasm.

I used to be able to count on getting classic apparel from this company, but over the past few years, the quality has gone down and the prices have increased. You can get the same item in other stores at half the price. And get some pretty models back on the pages!

I purchased 2 pairs of pants, not knowing which size would fit best. I was going on a 2 week trip to Italy. I ordered the pants on April 1st and received them on the 8th. One week later I was flying to Italy. After my return I called the customer service line on May 4th and was told it was to late to return my pants. These are pants that are new and have never been worn. Not even 30 days old. They would not accept my return. The poorest customer service ever. This will be the last time I buy from Banana Republic. Very dissatisfied!

Majority of my wardrobe was from them. I absolutely loved the style and quality. Within the last few years the quality has decreased and their final sale policy for online orders is absolutely ridiculous. You are taking a major risk by purchasing a product with a price that hasn't reduced that much, knowing that you will have to keep it and absolutely cannot return it. It's a gamble. I don't know whose idea it was to make it so all sales are final, especially online orders when you don't even know if the specific product will fit.

I placed an order for pants for work on 9/25/22. It is now New Years Eve. Its been over 3 months and no pants, I call to see whats going on or to get a credit so ai can order more pants because I never received them. The tracking says awaiting pick up from carrier so they never left the facility it looks like. I was just told they cannot give me a refund or store credit because its been so long. Whose fault it that? I've been waiting for these to show up. If you're out of stock or theres an issue on your end fix it. Would that let me speak to a manager. I would not order here. They are literally stealing by taking your money and not sending you what you ordered in exchange.

BR doesn't make returns easy. They stopped providing return slips or order number slips inside packages. I did not receive an email with my order number due to a typo in the email. And when I called staff to get help, they said there was nothing they could do. I called again a few weeks later to find out that staff wasn't adequately trained and could have helped me locate the order number on the shipping label like I asked in the initial phone call. At that point my order was late and there was nothing they or the manager would do to fix the issue. I now have 3 shirts that don't fit me that I paid $150 for. Boooo BR.

I bought a dress online as it was not available on store. I purchased petite small size but still big I understand it was a final sale and no return but I am just asking them if i could at least exchange it to xs same item but they were not friendly and helpful. They should clarify it on their website that it should be no return no exchange! Just wasted my money and will never buy on this store again! Beware!

Placed an order and realized it was not the fit i wanted. I tried to cancel and they refuse to cancel my order after 1 hour of placing. Definitely wont buy from them again. Spoke to Shannon Johnson and rudely laughed and when i asked to speak to someone else she hung up.
