Shockingly, shockingly bad business! Sent a balloon to a 4 yr old for their birthday (and not a cheap one) but when it arrived it was deflated. The child's mum phoned up balloon king where she was abused by a woman and accused of deflating the balloon herself! She was asked to PROVE the balloon was deflated!?! She was told they WOULD NOT offer a refund (despite them claiming on their site to offer one). She was told to send the balloon back which she did at her own expense using first class pacel post. After not hearing anything for ONE WEEK she phoned again and was met with more abuse! She was told that they had reinflated the same balloon and that it was fine so were going to send it back at some point by second class post!!! Bear in mind that this was a gift for a small child whose birthday has now long since past!!!! I then phoned up to complain and COULDN'T BELIEVE the rudeness of the woman I spoke to. She lied when I asked to speak to a manager (there is no manager!) and repeatedly said she did not care that the balloon was delivered damaged and that a small child had been very disappointed. When asked if she could send something to the child as compensation, she said "why should I?" When asked how the child's mum could get a refund for posting the balloon back, she said to prove the cost of postage (even though she had seen the postage on the box she received from her!). All I heard from her was "I don't care, I don't care". What a SHOCKING way to run a business. To accuse someone of deflating a balloon, then send back the same damaged balloon is awful!! They said the balloon should stay inflated for 2 weeks - after all this time waiting it will be deflated again by the time it arrives!! IN MY OPINION I would avoid this site at all costs until they learn to value their customers and learn some basic customer service skills!
have ordered a few times, firstly a few years ago and recently for my sons birthday party (mix of balloons and animal walker balloons), staff helpful if you have a problem, delivery cheap and i wouldn't buy from somewhere else now. phone girl gave me discount code so that was nice when i didnt expect it

what a brill site!!!!! - Recently while in America on holiday I was looking for a gift for my sister whose birthday I had forgot. I came across this brill balloon in a box site back home and contacted the owner to see if I could a late delivery for the next day. It being 18.15 back home. I was told if I placed my order in the next 15mins they would make sure it would be delivered the next day. Well I did and they did. My sister was thrilled with her bouquet of balloons. They have hundreds of balloons, all shapes and sizes. I emailed the owner when I got home and thanked em for the service.
Try em you will not be disappointed.

Armando G. if u phone somewhere with the arse do u really expect them to help u? i was 1 of balloon kings first customers back in 2008 and have ordered a few times since, even when i've had problems with delivery the girl on phone and mail is friendly and helpful.she even gave me a discount code on a big valentine order this year which she really didnt hav to do
N B. Have the arse because was verbally abused within an inch of my life on the phone, as was my friend who called first! They lied when they said they had sent a replacement balloon to the little boy - it is apparently still with them and they are refusing to send it inflated as claim he deflated it himself!!!!! All we want is what we paid for...an inflated balloon!!! They have taken my money fine, just won't deliver what they sold!!! It's totally shocking!!! They are liars and cowboys!! Save yourself hassle and use a professional company that actually sent decent goods that aren't faulty, treat their customers politely, and can accept they make mistakes and rectify them!!!

N B. Dear DeeC, I have a voice recording of the conversation that I had with the employee you mentioned, which you are more than welcome to listen to. It clearly shows that I was not abusive in an way, shape or form. It in fact shows that I was the one that was abused, as well as lied to several times! My friend can also confirm that she was abused on the phone by the same woman. I also have an e-mail from the company dated the 8th June saying the balloon has been sent out again. Another lie. I have telephoned the company again, to be told that no way would the balloon be sent back and would only be sent to the little boy if his mum sent a stamped address envelope to them so they could return the DEFLATED balloon! How cruel us that fir a 4 year old to understand?! The boys dad has telephoned and even offered to buy a new box to send the balloon back to his son in, but again he was told no! At no time have I been offered a replacement or a refund, despite two phonecalls from me and several from the boys parents. I have spoken to reading standards and taken advice from them on the matter, as I feel I cannot cope with anymore abuse on the telephone from the company. It has been a very upsetting experience for me and the intended recipients of the balloon. Again I will state is all that I wanted is what I paid for - an INFLATED walking dinosaur balloon for the little boy.

Dear Dee, although I do appreciate you taking the time to comment on my complain (even though I did what you said and STILL haven't been offered a replacement balloon or a refund), I must point out that you have used my full name on a public forum which breeches my rights as a customer as well as data protection laws. In addition to this, you have said that I made threats to one of your colleagues. This is a very serious allegation, which I hope you have concrete proof of, as I will be seeking legal advice on both these points.
