Why I can't access the page anymore?

Almost everytime I try to download something from Avaxhome the link is dead... I never seen this in all my years going there dealing with file sharing change overs I been going there since they used to have vinyl there which is now all gone... Everything is just pink all the time... No point renewinng icerbox... And I know one of them is doing this... It's not the uploaders...

This is one of the major non-torrent file sharing sites; if you see or hear of 'the Russian one' being mentioned, this is probably it. It's a huge, rambling affair with tens of thousands of pages, and although most of the usual file sharing fare is here many of the members specialize in high-quality audiophile recordings that can't be found anywhere else, along with rare and obscure movies and other gems. It has a more adult membership than most other similar sites, hence the emphasis is less on games and chart music and more on books, classic rock, jazz and classical music. You'll also find a fair number of Russian, German and French language contributions here, so there's often an opportunity to find a foreign-language movie with (or without) English subtitles that you might not easily find anywhere else. There are also many European and international publications, magazines and newspapers; the cultural differences demonstrated by the amount of flesh permitted on Playboy covers in different countries is worth a study in itself, and many Japanese 'idol' magazines may also be found here.

So much new content is added every day that you'll often find ten or more new pages every time you visit. Even then, only the most interesting items make the main pages and you need to view the individual categories, listed at the top of the page, if you want to view everything. There is also an extensive multi-level menu on the left hand side of the page which can help you drill down to a specific type of interest.

My usual advice about file sharing applies, even though this site has administrators who seem to watch over it with care and don't tolerate foul play. Definitely run an ad-blocker with your browser, and remember that whilst the pages on this site are likely to be safe, the files indexed here are hosted elsewhere and often provided by unknown uploaders. Should you choose to download anything listed here, you should ensure that you have the appropriate protective software running on your computer to prevent intrusion by unwelcome visitors. I can't recommend you to do anything which is illegal in your country or state, or which breaches national or international copyright or intellectual property law, but if you're going to do it anyway you might as well take care.
