Only half my delivery was delivered, I got only half my refund a week later! Still fighting for the rest! Food is poor, fruit bruised, meat is dateline. Only used due to convenience but with half the food missing, it's no longer convenient so will avoid at all costs. Very poor since ownership changed.

ASDA, what, 50% Walmart? Who's running this business? When I place an order for significant items advertised and apparently in stock, then why should they not be delivered? Terrible organization of orders and service, and inventory. I buy groceries and many items for family in the UK from ASDA. It's just impossible to plan anything. Is Britain really this bad or is it this company.?

Tip for consumers:
Don’t plan on ASDA having anything unless it’s in your hand.

The online delivery service is terrible not once have they delivered on time or with out substitutions I ordered two days ahead of delivery sometimes to avoid substations and still have not received all my shopping items ever whilst using ASDA online delivery service the worst thing is the products they replace the original items with are always terrible and all you can do is give it back upon delivery forcing you to shop in store to get what you actually wanted thus defeating the whole point of online shopping such a disappointment and inconvenience.

ASDA is a company that dropped honesty, quality, morals and standards
The thief who delivered my order **************) had stolen half of the items. You refused to provide a refund. I am now lodging a formal complaint with the relevant authorities. Your service has deteriorated significantly. The recent products you've delivered have been a complete letdown for both me and other customers. Outsourcing your deliveries may lead your business into administration. You have disappointed me on the last five occasions I've ordered. I will no longer be your customer due to this severe decline in your service, product quality, and customer support, and most importantly, your lack of honesty. You unlawfully rejected my refund request. This marks the end of more than 15 years of loyalty, despite your supermarket having the most straightforward delivery system (albeit with some questionable quality).
Needless to say I will be the ambassador of your lack of morals and standards and you will see my reviews all over the web.

The Customer service from the Sutton Asda GSM Manishkumar Barot is absolutely abhorrent how an earth can this guy be made to run a large Asda store with such extremely poor customer service skills, people skills and extreme! Language barrier problems how? Also the amount of both staggering customer and colleague complaints of which Asda head office are fully aware of but choose to do absolutely nothing at all.

OFF LOADING ALMOST OUT OF DATE FOOD TO HOME DELIVERIES Drivers on home delivery helpful, disabled household, but SHORT DATE PRODUCTS constantly being sent or substitutes that are just stupid! They actually refused to refund goods despite the food use by dates being the stuff you see in the whoops discounted counter but they wanted full price! Today wheelchair user forced to take photos to get a refund, as the helpline said ASDA doesn't keep track of use by dates, how bad can you as a food supplier get! Leigh area, Lancashire, England,

Tip for consumers:
Home delivery to wheelchair user: Terrible service on the help line and I think that ASDA are deliberately sending short date products to customers on home delivery and then making getting a refund as difficult as possible, they refused to refund on the online request so spent half an hour or over on the phone. They say they do not have records of their goods use by dates so could end up sending ROTTEN food. Drivers are good not the help line!

Products used:
Fresh food that was almost out of date.

I recently visited ASDA Wallington and unfortunately, I had an incredibly disappointing experience due to the extremely poor customer service provided by the Operational manager, Vania. As a loyal and regular customer, I have always had positive experiences at ASDA, but this particular encounter left me frustrated and dissatisfied.

Upon entering the store, I encountered a problem with an item I had purchased the previous week. I approached Vania, the Operational Manager, to seek assistance in resolving the issue. However, instead of displaying empathy and understanding, Vania was dismissive and unhelpful. She showed a complete lack of interest in addressing my concerns and seemed more focused on rushing me away.

Not only did Vania fail to provide any solutions, but she also displayed a condescending attitude throughout our interaction. Her dismissive tone and lack of professionalism were truly disheartening. As an Asda customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy, especially when seeking assistance from a manager. Unfortunately, Vania's demeanor fell far short of these expectations.

Moreover, Vania's lack of knowledge about the store's policies procedures and overall products was evident. She seemed unaware of the basic protocols for handling customer complaints and seemed uninterested in escalating the matter or involving other colleague members who might have been better equipped to assist. This lack of competence and willingness to help left me feeling disregarded and unheard.

What disappointed me the most was Vania's inability to empathize with my situation. Customer service should always prioritize understanding and resolving customer issues promptly. However, Vania seemed more concerned with maintaining her authority than addressing my concerns. This level of indifference is unacceptable and reflects poorly on ASDA Wallington as a whole.

I sincerely hope that ASDA Head Office takes this feedback seriously and addresses the issue at hand. Customer service is a crucial aspect of any business, and the behavior exhibited by Vania was far from satisfactory. I urge the senior management team at asda head office to provide additional training to their colleagues, particularly in the area of customer relations, to ensure that future customers do not encounter the same disappointing experience.

In conclusion, my visit to Asda Wallington was marred by the extremely poor customer service displayed by the Operational manager, Vania. Her dismissive attitude, lack of professionalism, and overall indifference towards my concerns were deeply unsatisfactory. I hope that Asda Wallington takes appropriate measures to rectify this issue and provides better training and support to their staff to improve the overall customer experience.

There is a massive problem with the customer service management at the Asda Wallington Store as well as the extremely biased and poor handling of customer complaints to Asda head office when you make a complaint to Asda head office they only seem to take action when you make a complaint about Asda colleagues but when you make a complaint about an Asda manager they don't want to act and they always protect the managers this is bias and needs stop!

Don't waste your time and money. 1st time customer. Ordered online delivery Sunday. Order cancelled by Asda. Arrived on Monday, faulty. Also had to pay extra delivery even though they cancelled My refund declined no reason given. A number of calls and emails later. Offered £5 e voucher. Hilarious like i would ever shop with them again. So told to take faulty item back to Rushden, I live in Bedford. Which means I would incur more costs. The whole idea of online shop is about convenience. Not with Asda. So I'm left with a faulty product and financially out of pocket. How many other people have they stolen money from. Definitely WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OR USE asda AGAIN. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER

They "ASDA" right attitude for me.

Having read through the various bad reviews for ASDA, I think I must be shopping in a parallel ASDA internet world. Ah! Maybe I am, or is it the £3.00(yes £3.00) a bottle ASDA red wine I hear you cry. Anyway, I have regularly ordered my groceries online and have found the service & quality to be excellent. They almost always deliver on time, well two late deliveries in three years ain't bad and one of them was due to the amount of snow but ASDA still delivered. The items I receive are nearly always of good quality and well within their use-by-dates. On the very odd occasion that an item of food is either poor quality or missing from the order, I phone the customer services and they issue a refund with no questions asked. The ASDA delivery drivers are without exception helpful and polite, the pickers (no not the country and western type!) seem to take care and choose fresh items well. What about substitutes I hear you say. Well, footballs not really... Oh, sorry I see what you mean. Yes, we all get substituted from time to time, and generally ASDA substitutes are spot on. Invariably they will substitute with a more expensive item but only charge for the original item ordered. If though, a substituted item is not wanted; just send it back, also the driver will refund you there and then.

I would have no hesitation in recommending asda.com for online grocery shopping or their Kendal store for making the delivery happen.

I can't believe how this woman Vania Faria (former Operational Manager at the Asda Wallington store) has been promoted as a GSM at the Asda Stonecot Hill store despite humongous online reviews complaints and social posts made against her of which all the senior management directors are fully aware of but refuse to act a classic case of unfairness bias and hypocrisy.

Live insects in salad, Horrific experience after being a customer for over 10 years

Purchased Asda spinach and pea shoot salad, both listed as "washed and ready to eat". To my surprise as I'm tucking into my salad, a green and yellow caterpillar gets up out of it and glides out of it. As expected I threw the salad away immediately. About four hours later I began feeling nauseous and sick, and then was sick several times. I was sent home from work that evening and was off work the following day as well, the sickness continued throughout the day. The next day I decided to contact Asda as I was worried about the origin of the caterpillar and curious as to what parasite may have been in there. The response was not what I had expected from the customer service advisor Roselyn. Her response, was that Asda stopped using pesticides so you are now more likely to find insects in your food, amongst other possible things. I did not find this a satisfactory answer to something that is supposedly washed and ready to eat and the packaging gives no indication you are more likely to find insects in Asda products after the production/sourcing changes they have clearly made. She also rudely sent me a link that tells you how to wash fruit and vegetables. She treated me like a child telling me how to wash food, despite her company packaging saying it wouldn't need to be. She then sarcastically said that she's no medical officer and could not give me an indication into why I was being violently sick and made no attempt to investigate the complaint further. Frustrated, I politely advised this response was not acceptable. I also asked to be refunded for the food considering it had all gone in the bin, something Roselyn was too superior and lazy to do. Her colleague Ian then responded, again made no attempt to investigate further and disregarded all my original comments just like Roselyn. He replied asking what it is that I wanted…. I mean how lazy can you be that you have to ask a customer how to respond to the complaint, do these people have no training at all? I then advised him that I had not even been refunded for the food which I think was around £3. I then get an email saying here have an extra £7 on us as goodwill, and basically go away. As my sickness progressed and Asda made no effort to find out what was in that salad, my GP arranged a blood test. A few weeks later I finally have my test results and am now having to go through an injury lawyer to make a claim against the poisoning, the poor customer service and my loss of earnings from work. This could have all been avoided if I had help from the team at Asda, but it was overall a disastrous and stressful experience.

On Saturday 21st January 2023 I visited the Falkirk Asda store at 3 Newmarket Street with my husband and 13-year-old son initially as he was looking to buy the "Prime" drink, it was out of stock but I decided to take the opportunity to do some shopping as I was there.
As always I used Scan & Go, I had picked up drinks for my house when my son decided to swap one out for a different flavour, there was a young female staff member stocking shelves so I asked if that meant I had to remove one and scan the new one, she said I didn't because it was on a mix & match offer so the price would be the same.
When I got to the Scan & Go payment section, customers of all four points including myself were selected for quality checks there was one young female in this section who was clearly overwhelmed and inexperienced to the point that she took one customer's phone and then tried to take mine, I refused to let her take my phone to scan the barcode as I knew that the machine for this is portable.
When she started my check I told her about the drink just in case it made a difference to the checks, she said nothing just nodded, and continued scanning, it seemed like she was doing a lot of items so I asked how much she had to do as I know from previous times that there is either an amount of money or items that have to be scanned.
It was only then that she told me she had scanned the drink I told her about, (after I told her about it and she had acknowledged what I had said) and was now carrying out a full rescan! Surely, I should have been told this when she realised it would need to be done.
I asked to speak with a supervisor at this time as a full rescan of nearly £100 worth of shopping for a £1 item that I had already brought to the staff member's attention. It was at this point the male in my tweet arrived in an already indignant mood/manner. I asked my husband at this point to step in and speak as the man would not allow me to talk, he talked over me in an aggressive way any time I tried.
At this point a woman came over, her name I believe was Chrissy. Her badge was obscured so I can't be certain, what her role is I do not know. She too came into the fray in an irate manner and told me that I was the one in the wrong and I was wrong to listen to her fellow staff member from the floor and instead I should have remembered the terms & conditions. Sorry, but I read them when Scan n Go was introduced over 2 years ago! Could you tell me the T&C of something from that long ago?
Given the hostile reactions I opted to empty my bags of shopping back into the trolley and leave, this caused more severe anger and aggression from those two staff members So I asked to speak to the store manager, and at this point, I was yelled at by both staff members and told I was barred.
I left the Scan n Go area and walked to customer services, whilst I was doing this the male used his headset to contact other staff telling them to refuse my request should I ask them. He marched to the customer service desk while I queued to get there and said the same to the male staff member, I know this because when I asked him for the manager I was told "I have been told to refuse your request, sorry"
By this time both the male and female staff members were standing talking to the security detail and my husband had caught up to me, he spoke to the male and said "She may be barred but I'm not and I want to speak to your manager" his request was also refused. At this point my husband tried to take his picture as still we were refused his name and he charged at my husband telling him he "would smash his $#*!ing phone" This happened close to the security station and I was still at customer services.
When I walked over, about 15 feet, I passed the male and spoke and when he turned I took the picture. He then charged at me, threatened to snap my phone, and hit me. He was at this point restrained by the female colleague and while she was physically holding him back she called him Gary and that was the one and only time I heard his name said.
I feel it is worth noting that at no time did the security man move from his station, not to ask me to leave or to prevent your staff member from inflicting injury on a customer.
The man we believe to be called Gary had "Section Leader" on his uniform, I find it incredulous that a person with clear anger control issues is not only employed by you but put in a position where he is a main point of contact for customers who have complaints. It is only a matter of time before his unstable nature causes him to seriously harm a customer.
As not only someone who is registered disabled but also a mum, the thought of being an Asda customer causes a level of fear and uncertainty that no one should ever feel when they are doing their shopping.
As someone who is physically & mentally disabled, I choose Asda over other stores as their layout, clear signage and usually helpful staff make shopping a stress-free experience. At the time of writing this it's worth noting that ASDA have given this thug their full backing and he is still there endangering the lives of their patrons

Ordered online to be delivered. A couple of substitutions were sent, and was told that bread was unavailable. There isn't a single load of bread in ASDA that could have been sent instead? Spoke to customer service, obviously reading from a script in broken English & only had one line that's he kept repeating like a robot. Was like talking to a brick wall.

Wotst customer service experience of my life.
I wanted to give 0 stat but I can't.
Phoned asda customer service because 5 in 1 balander wasn't working they ask me to return in store for refund because product was not in stock after few days of return received email I will receive refund in 3 to 5 days checked after a week I didn't receive refund they ask me to call bank when I call bank they said no refund is received by asda then I call again and guess what they said same thing call bank when I use firm tone then they look into it and found out they can't trace the order and complaint is forward to relitive department. After months of calling back and email they said I am not eligible for refund and now I am blocked by asda. I just wanted my product back which I return to asda. So now I am not refunded they got my faulty item and I am blocked and cannot send email to asda customer service. Worse experience of my life.
