Armslist is full of folks trying to trade some crap instead of paying for a listed item. Others trying to buy on handshake deals... which is pure nonsense.
And nothing stops anyone from marking your valid listing as a possible scam for no reason at all.

Was looking at a bunch of guns found a guy with 2 guns ended up purchasing them sent him 1800 dollars ended up being a scam lost all my money and they basically said call the cops we wouldn't do anything for ya went back to a couple other guns I had book marked and they had been flagged for scams pretty pissed poor site wouldn't ever look on it for another gun and if your into keeping your money you should stay away from it as well I really hope who ever is in charge goes under because he only cares about his wallet and not the people who spend the money thinking they are getting a gun

Ad said holster wear and in good operating condition; arrived a dealer who ordered it. It was rusted and fireing pin was broken. Called said nowarrenty your problem.

This seem to be a good for listing firearms. The nice part is that there is no fees. Only been using this sight a few months now. The people that have the most information available seem to be good people. No real support issue because you are work with the sell or buyer only, so it depends on your communication skills. It is easy to list your items. I would suggest this site to a friend.

I contacted an out of state seller. We emailed and texted several times about a 20 Ga Browning Citori. He was very knowledgeable. We were both cautious about either sending the gun before payment or paying before receipt of the gun. After stating he would not ruin his family name over $500. We agreed I pay 1/2 up front then he'd send the gun. I paid via USPS Money order to protect myself, I thought. It turned out to be an elaborate scam that couldn't be traced back to the perpetrator and I'm out $500. Since then I've swapped emails with 2 other out of state sellers. In order to protect myself I ask for their FFL's name and contact information. Both times the emails stopped immediately upon me asking for that. Obviously also scammers.
