Beware! Stay WELL away from this company, We ordered a Fridge Freezer for well over £1000 which, unfortunately, we had to cancel. Over a month later, no refund, no answer to any emails, no answer to any phone mesages left.
On the very rare occasions that the phone was actually answered, the guys who answered (Frazer or Sam) were full of promises - usually finished with a 'leave it with me and I'll phone you back'. Suffice to say that they never have.
Since we payed with a Debit rather than a Credit card, the card company can do nothing.
We instructed our solicitors to contact them after 3 weeks had passed, They have had no response to their emails and letters.
We are contacting the bank to see if they can help, but if not, it looks like we will have to go to the Small Claims Court to get our money back, although it may be that the address they publish on their website is just as false as the rest of their organization.
Let's hope that anyappliance.co.uk have the funds for both the full refund that they have to give by Law - and our Legal costs too.
My best advice: Have nothing to do with this company.
ordered a hob which was supposed to be in stock, when queried delivery no hob available. was offered refund which i aggreed to. one month has passed and no refund and they do not reply to any of my emails. have placed matter in hands of credit card issuer and cancelled credit card. do not use this company for anything
Have ordered 3 items with a value of nearly £1400 and were told all were in stock, turns out none were available and am still fighting for a refund 7 weeks later. Phone calls and emails are all unanswered, phone has even been put down on us. On rare occasion contact has been made, promises of refunds were made but not honoured. STAY AWAY
I am having the same problem but I have located their personal address as well as the mailbox used. This business is using a mailbox for post and is using at least two VAT registrations and compnay addresses.I will be posting this shortly. Trading Standards are involved - do go through this route to ensure this company are prosecuted
Have finally recieved a refund today, has taken recorded letters threatening small claims court and our bank getting involved. will also report to trading standards as they shouldn't be allowed to do this to anyone else. They also had a shop on ebay which we complained about as it had bad feedback, this now seems to have been shut down, just hope they dont re open under another name. Have personal email, phone and address of theirs to pass on.
That's good news. Trading Standards involved.
I know the Ebay shop has folded. Please pass on personal email, phone and address details as a comment on our blog page http://ardaillyecoroundhouses.blogspot.com/
Thanks - hope we are successful too
Exactly the same thing has happened to me. Ordered over £1000 worth of goods. I was told that they were in stock but turns out that they weren't. Took me 6 weeks to get my money back. Don't use them RW
Make sure you cancel any bank cards used as they have your data
