I have been trying to order something from them since DECEMBER, a copy and paste response of "please show us whats the issue" occurs. They refuse to return my money although the product they sold me was literally bloatware, they also want to tax me additional money since apparently the 40$ i spent which is now in their credit balance is not good enough on a product I am paying $29 for... it's almost hilarious how bad their system is. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Here I was thinking I grabbed a good deal from Android Central. When I noticed the software which I purchased acted suspiciously and was overall very inconvenient I turned to their support, these people plan to sell you these stuff without a proper support or explanation of how to use it then later on refuse a refund because you can't actually use it. It's a big scam and they know it. STAY AWAY

If you want to buy a reliable smartwatch for your children, please look further up straight away. We want to buy our children a smartwatch for their safety, this watch and the company are absolute not trustworthy.
Usually, I always look at reviews before buying something, which happens with the Xplay5 smartwatch! I read better reviews than worst on the Android Central and mostly everywhere, so I ordered, but I had a mix feelings! Now I understand why you cannot leave reviews at all for this watch.
The watch arrived with a giffgaff card! Their support is horrible, so I decided I would continue using her previous EE card contract. Big companies are safer; any issues you can call up, and they are willing to help you straight away. We received the watch a week ago, and we have some problems with the watch. Of course, they don't have a phone number, not even live chat if you need support! You can only email them, and hardly they reply to you. I tried to find a solution to send them several emails, and I got back only one to which I responded immediately but did not receive any further help or information, and thus we still cannot use her Xplay5 smartwatch! Imagine if your children are in danger and she cannot rely on the watch, or you as a parent or the police cannot contact the company support! So just still searching for another smartwatch option for your child. In my research, I found that this watch only got minimal water resistance, but not waterproof, which means during heavy rain, or washing their hand could already break the watch. The screen doesn't make for children! You need to make sure the screen protection film is always on it, even though the film does not cover all the screen. In addition, we charged the smartwatch and one day discharged the battery without using it. I wish I could send back this watch! It was the worst investment to protect my daughter.

Tip for consumers:
Please do not use and trust this site. If you buy anything they recommend, their recommendation is not accurate. You are not able to leave any feedback or review of the product.

So there's this issue with moto g phones where the USB-c cable that comes with it is slightly different than what commercially available aftermarket. The cable it comes with makes a distinctive click when you plug it in. It's actually quite a secure connection. The issue comes when you try to use anything other than the manufacturers supplied cable. Nothing else works properly. Regular USB-C cables will charge it, but they won't stay secure and just fall out. And usb drives are out of the question, as the USB drive or cable doesn't make a secure connection. And there's nothing anywhere on the internet about it. I even tried emailing Motorola about it. Other than the generic response directing me to the FAQ and Troubleshooting part of their website (which only list the common issues and what to try), which doesn't help or even address the issue. So I posted to a thread about it, in response to someone else's question about this issue. Specifically, I was making a point, that I found a work around using a USB hub and plugging the phone into the USB hub with the cable it came with. And using a second device as the USB hub controller.
Then I received an email saying I was being cited as violating the websites rules, specifically "spamming" and was directed to follow the link to respond if I objected. And when I followed the link, it dead ended, because my account has been permanently banned. Absolutely ridiculous.

I've been a forum member and also a reader of their reviews. Their reviews are extremely biased, often favoring the giant companies while judging the smaller phone companies unfairly. They nit-pick over tiny things about LG phones, searching for flaws about it while dismissing the best parts about the phone. They always recommend Samsung, Google, and whoever pays them money (AKA low-key bribe) and they help advertise their brand. When you call out their biases in the forums, they delete your post and also ban you. The worse thing is when you criticize Samsung/Google, they go after you and call you a liar and delete your post. The website is full of ads and ad tracking, the ads are so bad, it has caused massive lag on my phone or computer, sometimes struggling to load. Please don't fall for mainstream tech websites like this, there are far better places to get honest reviews and news about tech (I suggest independent tech reviewers on YouTube like SomeGadgetGuy). Don't fall for the corporate trap.

Tip for consumers:
Be aware of their biased reviews, they are not entirely honest. Take reviews with a grain of salt.

I logged into Android Central to view a post, and got his ridiculous error -
ANDROID FORUMS MESSAGE

You have been banned for the following reason:
Multiple Usernames
Date the ban will be lifted: Never

This is preposterous as I have only ever logged into that forum using my Google account, which has had the same username for years...
Be careful if you try to use this site to get help with your android device, they will ban your account for nothing, just so they do not have to work for a living.
I would suggest that you instead try - https://androidforums.com/ - as they seem to be administrated by human beings who are really interested in creating a better forum experience for everyone, and not just for themselves.
If you have an Android device, and need to ask questions, you can either contact the manufacturer, your carrier, or GO SOMEWHERE else to ask questions, because androidcentral.com is piece of garbage site that refuses to help anybody with anything, and will ban you for nothing the first time you try to get answers!

Tip for consumers:
STAY AWAY, they are criminally useless!!

Website has so much ads, my web browser lags like crazy when I'm trying to type words in the forums. The admin will delete posts from people who talk "bad" about any of their partners and also possibly ban them. The website is extremely biased in their tech reviews and will basically say anything good about their partners products and will give bad reviews to other companies they aren't partnered with. This website is a horrible place to read tech reviews, and a terrible place to chat in forums as it has pop up ads and other ads that will lag your web browser. The admin will "silence" anyone who complains or talk bad about their partners products (usually Google). My account was deleted because I was revealing too much "secrets" about their business practices and corporate bribery affecting their tech reviews and their bias.

I took the time to register with AndroidCentral so I could post a reply to a question I knew wouldn't be answered. I provided accurate and correct information that answered the question. I went back later and noticed the link I had posted as part of the answer was removed from my post and anyone that wanted to view the link portion of the answer was forced to register and provide an e-mail.

I logged a complain in the appropriate forum stating that I thought this practice was underhanded and I was now worried about spam. I would understand it it was a file (or image) hosted by their site but to block a simple URL is highly suspicious and gives the appearance of impropriety--it makes them look like they are phishing for e-mail addresses. I also said I wouldn't participate unless this was fixed. It took them several hours but rather than respond to my complaint they killed the post. I haven't checked to see if my account is still valid because I really don't care. Clearly they intend to continue with this inappropriate practice of blocking portions of answers just to force registration--again not things like files where they are providing a service but blocking simple URLs referencing additional information that would enhance a technical answer.
