PLEASE READ FULL REVIEW OF THIS SCAM COMPANY!!!!
DO NOT purchase from this company. If you do not stipulate 'pay-as-you-go' option during payment, they will automatically sign you up for 'membership'. This 'membership' will charge you $39.95 a month even if you do not purchase from them again!!! Luckily I spotted this on the day they took the first $39.95 out of my account. I called immediately and was (understandably) very angry. I spoke with Leidy, who had an attitude (I suppose I wouldn't blame her as she has to be on the defensive all day from angry customers). She did however, cancel my membership and refund me and I received an email confirming this (which I have saved in case there are other issues - I read one review where the customer was told her membership was cancelled, but there was STILL $39.95 taken the next two months without her consent). Below I outline some details about Adore Me, to that consumers can be aware of who they are dealing with.
I have read other stories which were not so straight forward as my case above.
There are also over 80 complaints made against them on the Better Business Bureau website so far THIS YEAR, most of which are with regards to billing without consent (yes, you've guessed it, VIP membership scam);
What is going on here may be legal (just about), but it is IMMORAL and I'm presuming a large portion of the company's profits are from this oversight on the customers part. Yes customers should read the fine print, but at the payment point it is so vague - they offer you two separate prices (obviously the membership price is lower) - of course people are going to choose the cheaper, especially when it says there is no membership fee! Read this article from Business Insider which details what I would call a SCAM;
To add to this - it has been suggested elsewhere that the designer 'boutique' lingerie they offer is simply the same old stuff offered by all other lingerie stores, so you are not even getting anything special. I can't make a comment on this as I don't know the industry well enough, but this lingerie specialist seems to know what she is talking about;
Overall, if I could give them 0 stars I would. And I never write reviews (really, NEVER!!), but it irked me greatly because there are so many innocent customers out there getting scammed. Yes, Leidy pointed out (when I asked her if she thought it was immoral) that there are many other subscription sites that do the same thing, I suggested to her - with that logic, it could be argued that it's OK to steal from someone because others are doing it. And that is what Adore Me are doing in my opinion..... STEALING.
I hope that customers read this before they purchase, and not afterwards. Although I'm guessing the majority of people will only read this after they have had a cruel surprise in their checking account!
I wish I could give this site a 0 star rating. I was sent a random email, which I still have, that invited me to a special Black Friday deal. My husband and I looked at it and were interested in one item (ALL of their products run very small by the way, a size 12 is considered an XL). We ordered the nightgown for the sale price of 11.95. Since ordering I receive 2-3 emails from this company a day. It wasn't until I was getting ready to empty my junk folder that I saw an email titled AdoreMe VIP Account Notice - Important. I get all of their other ad emails, why is this Important one going into my junk folder?! The email says that it's giving me 4 more days to skip a month or I will be charged 39.95 on my Credit Card. Excuse me? In no way shape or form did we agree to sign up for any Membership. I immediately go directly to the website. There is absolutely no way to remove my credit card information, cancel the account entirely or even opt out of the VIP Membership. After speaking with a chat agent by the name of Anita, I was told the only way to cancel my membership was to call. The phone remained busy for over 2 hours before I could get through and then I was on hold for close to 45 mins. I finally get through, only to be told because I was still in the "trial" period, I could not cancel my membership until 10 days after my order. After the 10 day trial had past, I could call back and opt out of the VIP membership. I was also told, because I was canceling my membership, I would be charged an additional 18.00 for the purchase of the nightgown we ordered plus shipping and handling that were provided for free initially.
A day before all of this information came to light, I received the order. The nightgown was unbelievably cheap looking, of very poor quality and looked like it had been worn and washed in a washing machine 10+ times with the amount of elastic coming out of the seams around the cups of the bra area. AdoreMe has a NO REFUND policy, and if I were to return the item, on my dime, they would simply offer store credit for more of their poorly crafted and cheap sets of too small lingerie.
My advice would be to order anywhere else but AdoreMe.com. The whole operation is very shady, and after viewing over 80 complaints against this company submitted in with the BBB in less than 10 months of operation, I honestly don't see them changing their tune anytime in the near future. They take your money, provide an extremely poor quality product, and if you are unlucky to get caught in the VIP Membership scam thing, good luck in getting your money back.
One of my friends at work was telling me about this website. About how cheap they were and how adorable they're products were. So I course I had to check it out. At first I was having trouble finding lingerie in my size. Then I found a cute bra with panties. So I purchased it, while checking out the website was not very specific on the whole membership thing. And I couldn't understand it. I just wanted my cheap lingirie set. I got charged 39.95$ for two months in a row before realizing this site was over charging me. When I called customer service I was on hold for half an hour. The woman on the phone told me I was taken off of the membership list and I wouldn't be charged anymore, and that she refunded my money. ( this Ashe because of the charge my account had been over drawn twice already). And then the third month comes around and my bank sends me a statement saying that the following charges of 39.95$ was trying to be taken out of my account and there was not enough in my account and that I was over drawn 64.35$ (including the 25$ fee my bank charges). I calle customer service again just to be put on hold again for another half hour. When the second woman answers I explain to her that the woman from the month before was supposed to take me off the list and she had not, I wa charged 3 times for 39.95$ and she could only refund me for one because they can only look at the past months tranacrios. The First Lady I talked to COMPLETELY LIED TO ME.. She told me I would get all of my money back and I didn't. Now they're telling me that I have to go through claims to get the last to transactions back in my account. I had to cancel my card because this website wouldn't quit charging me. This is absolutely the WORST customer service I have EER had to deal with. The least y'all can do is be honest with me since y'all charge my account three frickin times.
What a scam - beware at all cost. Stay away, they are interested in making money, even when they are not providing goods or services. Customer service is terrible. They have STOLEN $400 from me. I would never recommend this site to anyone.
Ordered a nice corset. the fit is okay. however, i noticed a $39 recurring charge on my account. called customer service, they said they would refund the charge. still waiting for the refund.
The site has great deals, especially for new customers. Even though I don't receive the discount a new customer would, I still think the prices are great! The products are of great quality and they have tons of styles to choose from. It is a great alternative to shopping at an expensive lingerie store. I highly recommend it!
Do not give these people your money, because you will NOT get it back.
I purchased an item, then returned it because the fit wasn't right. And they did process the return and refunded me my money (minus the 15% restocking fee).
Lo and behold, I somehow signed up for the monthly membership, which included a MONTHLY fee of $39.95.
I web-chatted with Britney. She promised that the September amount would be refunded to me, and also promised the October amount would be refunded as well.
By the time mid-October rolled around, neither amount had been refunded to me. Emails to Britney went unanswered. I had to dispute the charges on my credit card.
Don't waste your time or your money. And don't bother trying to shame them on Facebook--they check it daily and delete negative comments.
Really cute stuff. It's affordable and so far I can't complain. The bra and panty set I received fit me perfect. Looks like it cost a lot more than what I actually spent. I was going broke buying cute bras and panties at other more mainstream retail stores. I'm really excited to make my next purchase.
Love the lingerie they offer. Great price for your first set and love that you get rewarded for sharing the site with friends. Will buy more from here for sure.
I have purchased an outfit from this site and LOVE it. I also was not sure about what size to wear as I have a weird body type and the instant chat help was great. They answered my questions instant in an instant message chat. Very good customer service!!!

I have not received my packaged. I called the company and they said it was delivered and they couldn't do anything about it. I'm pissed off!
I LOVE the corset I bought from adore me. I'm extremely tiny, so the M fits wonderfully, however the underwear that came with it is WAAAAY too big. It's not a big deal I don't particularly care for the underwear that came with it, I bought the outfit for the corset
overall, this website offers the ability to navigate without issue and they have support available to assist while shopping. I have ordered many sets from this site and have good experiences. The support staff are helpful and quickly fix any issues that arise while shopping. I really like the product. It took a couple of orders for me to find the bras style that suited me but I love all the sets that I have received. My one criticism would be their return/exchange process. I requested an exchange of a bra and panty set that was shipped in the wrong size. I was given the instructions to complete the return. I reordered the correct size and waited for the PDF for shipping back the wrong set. I received an email stating that I could return my set using the attached PDF return label. There was no attachment. I replied to the email indicating that I did not receive a return label- no response. I sent a separate email - still no response. It has been well over a month and no one has responded. Until I get a response to my return or a credit for the money spent, I will hold off on any additional shopping.
I love my new adore me set. I loved shopping on this webpage. I found shipping to be quick, discreet and exactly as ordered.
cute products, relevant survey to set up your own store, a live chat support which I used to clear up questions around joining the VIP membership and quick free shipping. The product quality was very good as well.
Ordering lingerie online is a gamble, so more information about the fit and sizing of the items would be great - I think ModCloth is a good example of a site that does this well.
Otherwise, it's a cool site - very reasonable prices, nice products, and fast shipping.
I strongly suggest that you DO NOT use this site. I was excited when I found a site that had cute lingerie in sizes that aren't easy to find. For the product, I was pleased with only having to spend $19.95 on my first purchase. However, if you do not choose the "pay as you go" option, you will be automatically signed up as a VIP member and charged $39.95 per month (which they put towards "store credit"). I called to speak with someone about getting a refund, in which I was told that they could only give me a refund for charges within the last 30 days and that she would send me an email with instructions on how to receive the rest of the refund. I checked my email, and the only thing she sent me was confirmation that I had been given a refund for the current month... There were no instructions on how to receive the remainder of the refund. On top of this, I discovered that there is no way to remove your contact information (Name, telephone number, address) from their site, and NO WAY TO DELETE YOUR DEBIT/CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. I have now had to call my bank and cancel my card. I will definitely be spreading the word about my experience with this shady business...
I cant understand why any business would operate the way they do, its a scam and I hate how it isn't very clear about the fact hat you are signing up for a membership f you don't click on the "pay as you go". Adore me was taking money out of my bank account for three months before I even realized this was happening. I asked for the money back and nope, they couldn't do it. so I basically was stuck with a crazy amount of credit with them when I didn't even want it. I just think that it is very sill and signing up for a membership should be very well noted on the site when you make a purchase. When you purchase something it shouldn't automatically sign you up for a membership. just silly and not impressed with the lingerie. Lingerie is cheap material and the small might as well say Large on it.
Really love my first purchase, will definitely be doing business with you again!! My husband loved it as well, lol!!
The customer service at this site is awful. I've been trying to get credit for an incorrect item that they sent me for 2 months now. Every time I speak to a representative they tell me the credit has been processed. It never is and they can never give me an answer as to why it wasn't fixed from my last call. They are at a call center and have no connection or interaction with the people at the distribution warehouse. If you need credit good luck!! The corsets are beautiful, but the thong panties are garbage. The set that I ordered was beautiful, I wish it would have been shipped correctly and not mis matched. Unfortunately, due to the lack of customer service I will never deal with this company again---well, that is unless the credit was not really processed AGAIN!!
Adore Me reopened my account in November after it has been closed for months. I have to call customer service to close it again, and conveniently when you choose any option at the prompts the phone rings once and goes dead silent. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
I was very pleased with the 2 items I purchased with AdoreMe. The size was great and the it was perfect. The only thing I would have to say that was not good, is that I wish I would have received it packaged the way my first purchase was. I received it in a plastic sac and that was it. The first item I received was in a cute bow and ribbon. So I was not happy to receive the second one the way I did. I even purchased 2 items in the second order because I was so happy and pleased with the first purchase! Please make sure your company packages the same way with each order. Thanks cant wait until my next purchase!!!!!
Adoreme.com is a GREAT website. I appreciate the fact that I can buy full sets of lingerie, sleeping attire, and swim suits. The prices are decent...I'd love it if it was just a tab bit cheaper. However, the sales are ADORABLE!!! (lol). I do recommend becoming a VIP Member. Just check your e-mail every month to skip the month if you do not plan to buy anything that month during the FIRST FIVE DAYS of every month. Otherwise, your credit card will be charged $39.95 for store credit.
I would've given this 5 stars but I had to send back for a different size. I usually wear a 36G but in this bra, I'm a 34H. I do love it though and it is the most comfortable bra I've bought from Adore Me yet. It also gives me great support. I would highly recommend.
great site, but I ordered a corset from them and in the description it said that it was a lace back with a zip up front. But when I received it, it was not a zip but some sort difficult buckle thing which took me forever to get on. I wish they would stick to their word and ship the right product

They're bras and panties are made of good material (not cheap or cheezy). They are great if you have to return items. All in all very user friendly and good products.
Love the website, love the product. Website has live chat help that's very easy to use. Search and display options are great. Sometimes search parameters are not parsed correctly, IE, if you specified 36DD item it may show related items that don't include 36DD products. Also, very hard to change size in your profile, must go through entire profile to update size.
The lingerie is pretty, but some of the fabrics/materials are scratchy, not very soft.
The sizing is smaller than I am used to in sizing.
Returns are SUPER easy!! Customer service is stellar!!
Good quality products. Unfortunately they are often out of certain sizes and/or styles when I try to order. I would also like if they would add more new items since customers who sign up are expected to order something each month.
The lingerie is nice, especially for the price and generally fits quite well. As a size small/medium with a bigger than average bust, I find that the site offers nice lingerie even for people with sizes that are hard to find. The only problems I have with this site are that in the past I have had awful experiences with customer service and other such associates affiliated with the site. Lately, no problems though. Also, everything on the site used to be 39.99 for VIP members, and now they have 49.99 selections. They should have kept the 39.99 for everything.
Edit: Completely baffled by the fact that they've tried to say the increase in price is due to increase in quality. Look at your tags, "Made in China". I'm sure the cents on the dollar Adore Me pays for that "increased quality" is worth $10 extra dollars. Removing a star for that + past experiences.
I ordered a costume at one price one morning, and an hour or so later, I saw it on facebook for a cheaper price. I called and spoke to a rep, that said they would charge me the half off price. they didn't. my card was billed for the original price.

The overall experience was good. The cup size of what I ordered was a bit on the smaller side but I didn't bother returning as it wasn't too bad. I wasn't overly amazed by the quality of the fabric but it was worth what I paid (after coupons). I had to trim some loose thread and there was a small hole where a few stitches were missed. Since I could fix it with a few stitches I didn't see the point of going through an exchange. I did look great on though!!

I love adore me..First I won a contest on facebook, and received my free set, I loved it so much that I purchased another set a week later and last I got a store credit and purchased another set. All this in one month and with a happy boyfriend at home ready for me to show case my new sets!!! ;)
I heard about this site and was excited to surprise my boyfriend with a Halloween outfit. When I was choosing which one I wanted, I saw that a number of the Halloween outfits did not come with the accessories included. Great. Good to know. I picked the pirate one because nowhere on the page did it say "accessories not included." I signed up for the VIP program, seeing that I could cancel anytime with no cancellation fee. I received the outfit but without the pirate hat and eye patch. I made sure to check the pirate outfit website again and again, it did not say "accessories not included." I emailed Adoreme on friday night and just got a response this morning saying that "As stated in the product's description here: http://www.adoreme.com/halloween/treasure-chest.html
"Pirate hat, eye patch, hoop earrings, and plastic cutlass not included." " When I clcked on the link, yes, there it was, in bright red. They must have changed the website either over the weekend or right before they emailed me back.
When I called this morning to cancel my VIP subscription (which I was lead to believe I could do at anytime,) I was told that I had to wait 10 days from opening the account before I could cancel the subscription. I don't know if that is a way to try and get people to forget about it and then get charged but it is in my calendar to call up at 9am this friday to cancel.
The material is not brilliant and I'm glad I only paid $20 for it (which will get returned.) I'm going to be searching elsewhere for a surprise Halloween outfit.
At first I was really excited to find this site. Free shipping to Canada, large cup sizes, reasonable prices and free exchanges. However, I have just had one horrible experience with them after another. Items I ordered were actually out of stock, my package was lost, I was sent the wrong item, the item I received was not as pictured, etc. I would even be willing to tolerate a few issues if they were capable and willing to correct them when contacted. Unfortunately, this has not been my experience. Their customer service is truly terrible. Recently they have also started charging for shipping to Canada, increased about half of their sets to $49.94 for VIP members ($59.95 for non-members) and changed their sizing on lingerie sets to S,M,L instead of cup sizes. This is particularly frustrating for someone that is a small band size with a large cup size. Small is way too small in the cups, but large is way too large everywhere else. Because of this I can no longer wear their lingerie sets even if I wanted to. Overall, they have increased their prices while offering a worse product, all while maintaining their awful customer service. I will be cancelling my membership and will not be ordering from them again.
PS: Adoreme please don't respond that you are a start-up company and working hard to sort out the kinks. I don't think anyone is buying that excuse. If this was really true and the company recognizes that there are issues, they would be correcting problems with customer service and product quality before increasing prices. I really think the priorities of this company need to be re-evaluated.
The first time I purchased from Adore Me, my package got lost after I updated my address for it to be shipped to by email with a rep who said they "took care of it." It then got shipped everywhere from Atlanta, GA to PN and finally back to the warehouse over a span of the next month. Meanwhile I kept contact via email and the rep kept assuring me it was coming. Then I opened a new ticket about it with a different rep who had emailed me finally letting me know it had returned to the warehouse. She then had it shipped to me after almost 2 months of waiting. However, I gave Adore Me a second chance and my 2nd and third purchases went just fine. Just whatever you do -don't change your address with them via email!! Lol
I thought that by signing up originally that no matter what, the first item you purchased would be $20. You should make that more clear with your advertisement and also have your sale codes work.
Liked the fabric and quality, but it didn't have any support at all (isn't that what a corset is supposed to have?) Inside is just boning, and no cups at all, so I was really disappointed, since the site made it look like there were. Will need to return my purchase.
Horrible customer service. It took 3 months to receive credit for a return. Out of the 4 bras I bought not a single one fit right. They were more than 2 cup sizes off and at least a band size off. Gave the bras to friends who wear smaller sizes but the bras were not even shaped right for them. The material looks great but is beyond uncomfortable, even on the basic bras that are marketed as comfortable everyday wear. Waited over 30 minutes trying to cancel the membership. They delete non supporting reviews on the bras(even if the are extremely objective).
Everything's groovy until something goes wrong. Then forget about getting results in a timely manner, anyone being the least bit proactive, or providing follow-up info without your having to call for it. I won't be buying from them again, & I'll be spreading the word, too.
This set was so amazing! I wasn't expecting it to be as beautiful as it is, the embroidered details are flawless. It's relatively comfortable for a bustier and regardless of having no padding it gives a sexy lift! Boyfriend was blown away. AdoreMe hasn't failed yet.
I'm not even sure how I came across this website but I'm glad I did. I was tired of paying big bucks for bras and panties. Adore Me offers a quality product, reasonably priced AND it's sexy!! It is very easy to find items in my size. Completing a purchase couldn't be easier and I love the buyer rewards. I'll be shopping here for years to come.
I ordered a corset for $19.95 on sale. It was nice for the price. Then two weeks later I noticed they withdrew $39.95 out of my bank account, but I didn't order anything else. So I tried calling at 4:00pm EST on a Monday and they were closed. I checked my email to see if there was anything from them saying why I was charged and sure enough there was an email saying I had a $39.95 store credit, and down at the bottom in small print they stated they charged the card I used on the first order. Apparently they think its acceptable to charge your card without permission and then say you have a " store credit". I will be filing a dispute and contacting the bbb. What terrible business practice. I bet they're making tons of money off people who never noticed they were charged.
I'm not impressed. The first order I made I paid for, then was later notified that the item was out of stock and they weren't sure if they would ever get it back in stock again. Instead of refunding the money I paid, they gave me a store credit to my account with them for that amount. The second order I placed I found out that they had changed the VIP incentive program I had originally signed up for and they raised the prices of their products. Part of the change was that they were no longer offering all sets for $39.95 to VIP members, which was the main reason I joined the VIP program in the first place... very disappointed all around.
