The Historic Tale Construction Kit - use authentic images and typeface to create your own story in the style of the historic Bayeux Tapestry (an account of the Norman invasion of England, much loved by small English children learning about their ancestors and explained at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bayeux_Tapestry). It's sort of silly and sort of fun. But I guess it works best if you're English and have some idea what it's all about. It can be as daft or as adult as you like, and when you're done you can email it to a friend, if you have one, or to yourself. This is one for the Brits, who have the opportunity to rewrite one of the more unfortunate episodes in their history, and the French, who get to enjoy the replay. Americans will likely stand puzzled on the sidelines.
