App is great but when you need customer service they are the worst. The agents on chat don't know anything and always refer you to call customer service instead. The bank hides the option to speak to a representative in their phone menu, customer service agents are rude can't confirm anything, even after being verified. The supervisors have no authority whatsoever to help you with anything that's an error their end. They then advise that they will have a manager call you in 24 hours bt never do

Love this bank. As the name indicates it is convenient and the staff is so courteous and helpful. Have never seen anyone out of line. Very professional and they all have wonderful smiles. Have recommended this bank to numerous relatives and friends.

I deposited a LOCAL issue check jan 1 the bank wants to tell me they need to delay my money? The lady Mgr hands me a sheet explaining how on the 5th my money's would be available.today is the 5th.so now the story is that the bank wants to hold it for 10 days.WTF.,.hey why would I agree to a ten day hold, when I could have just gone 10 min to the other bank and cash it...this place is Deceptive and if LOW standards for performance...FU

This bank was suggested to me by someone so I thought what the hell I'll try it out and man was that the biggest mistake I ever made. I was scammed by a company pretending to be Xfinity and the took 175.00 and when I called in to report it I was told it would be an hour long wait time when I finally got someone on the phone all they said was too bad those charges are valid, like what the hell are you serious? I'm saying they aren't valid and I paid for something I didn't get service on, do yourself a favor and go with a different bank because this one blows, and I'm sure once I post this review I won't hear anything back but maybe I can save someone else from wasting their time and money literally

First Convenience Bank do not recognize MLK Day. You were included in the I HAVE A DREAM Speech. Bank our money and disrespect a Federal Holiday.

Can't approve me for a loan based on my deposits, I use daily pay, so my deposits look small. And I deposit the rest in my acount. I hate the games and BS first Convenience Bank plays, I had to replace my debit card three times because it was Hacked.

The account statements are just so hard to follow. One day you can have 500 in your account and once you go about your causal spending they don't deduct the money from available balance so you are in need to keep track of every expense. Went to bed last night thinking I had a couple hundred in this account to now having a negative balance. The customers service representative are rude and have no interest in helping you. They don't even care if you bank with them. At least show some time of interest to your customers. Worst bank ever. Definitely do not recommend

In five years never been charged a fee its seems like the negative reviews come from people who are NOT Financially responsible Never have I been charged a NSF fee no monthly fees My only complaint is when you do go into a branch to make a deposit the tellers too busy talking instead of working to move the line but most times I use the mobile app to make deposits and never had a problem period

I found first convenience Bank to be very slow when it comes to direct deposit transactions compared to what I'm use to using. I also noticed how slow it is for them to transfer money into my account when using cash app. So I'm going back to Green Dot. Last year I earned hundreds of dollars on cash back and I also like that idea as well and I didn't have to have a savings account to get it. Only thing bad about Green Dot is it doesn't have a local location unless you upload at Walmart or someplace but other than that there are some conveniences of having a local bank so I will keep this account open in those cases where a local bank is required to do certain things. I'll just keep a few bucks in it to keep it going. Customer service was average as usual and everything was nice as well about them.

Customer service is the worst of the worst. I had more than one incident but I'm only going to mention 2. First I had my father go deposit some money in my account and they gave him a breakdown of all my transactions by all means he is not on the account. Second, I requested a debit card for my account and gave me a debit card for someone else's account when I went to go ask where was my money since I deposit using that debit card they just brushed it off and said oh sorry. Please don't waste your time go find another bank.

I wish I could post a monthly financial summary screenshot showing I had $1272. 23 in Priority transactions: rent and utilities and the only other transactions were 9 different overdraft fees from this bank for about $375 and an extended negative balance of $35 or maybe $70? Either way I have $1745 in overdraft fees this past year and none refunded. Im taking them to court but cannot get legal info when I call. Class Action?

I was recently the victim of an obvious scam. I purchased an item which was $39.99, but was charged twice; once for $238 and then $59. Filled out a dispute with FNB, answered their questions, and then was told that because I agreed to purchase an item whether they charged me twice or not could not be disputed. I spoke with one of their CSR who gave me misleading information that it would be stopped. The next day another CSR was rude and said she didn't know why the previous CSR said that because it was untrue.

So when you create an account here because you need one for a regular job that has payroll that you need to put into a bank it's going to be a while because you have to wait 30 days and you can get a check that you're trying to cash which makes things harder on the individual like me and I'm sure a lot of people agree because I see the reviews on here

Loss prevention won't give you any name or reason why they hold a check but will place a hold on a check I've banked there 9 years plus with no issues on my account!
LP does whatever they want then leave you high and dry on Saturday's and Sunday with no help or resolution. The bank teller act like they care they don't…the back office doesn't care at all they care about is making sure they go home on time. Worse bank to work for worse bank to bank with…if your a poor man don't bank here if you got money…they will take every penny they can.

Use for direct deposit only

I was a customer of 1stCB for 7 years. Debit card awful. Went out of town not out of state and debit card declined and have money in the bank! Father's Day weekend was a disaster. Had issues 2 wks ago and went to close acct but let Supervisor talk me out of it. I'm done because they can't get it together.

Minus a star for over the phone customer service. That being said, Most of the reviews listed here are not truly indicative of how this bank actually operates. It sounds like a bunch of financially irresponsible people having a baby fit. And a lot of it isn't even true. For example, one lady says they charged her more than 100 overdraft fees. First convienience caps at 4. They are 34 dollars a piece which is a bit much compared to other banks. But, you can have 9 or 10 different overdraft purchases and they only charge you for FOUR! The rest are fee free. Another lady says that the cap on mobile deposit is 200 resulting in overdrafts. This is not true either. I deposit mine and my husbands checks for many times that amount weekly. They do put a hold on it if it's over like $1500 I believe to ensure that the check clears before it released. But, that isn't bad customer service, it's good business. If you are over drafting it's because you are spending money you don't have, not because the bank is irresponsible. They also have a loan called fresh start that will zero out your negative balance allowing you to get caught up. I could go on and on. But, I digress. This bank has never been anything but amazing to us, and everyone I know that has used or switched to them has never been anything less than satisfied. My ONLY complaint would be phone customer service. You are better off going into the branch and speaking to someone in person if you have a major issue. I seem to go round and round over the phone, but in person it's always handled immediately. The phone service is really only good for reporting lost/stolen, or ordering.

I opened this account as a favor with$100 and was told they would not charge me any fees. That was the first lie. Long story short they have charged a bunch of fees and every time i would try to get the account closed the amount changed and the check ended up being returned to my bank. No one was willing to offer me any help with this. They are supposed to send me a check with what's left like $55 now. They are liars.

First off, the man on the phone was VERY nice and tried his best to be helpful. My mom passed away 6 months ago after taking care of her for 2.5 months watching her suffer and pass from cancer. My sister worked diligently as the executor of the estate to get all of my moms things in order. After almost 7 months, we received our inheritance payment. Believe me, I would rather have my mother back than the money. The point is...The bank put a hold on the check. I get that. I didnt even ask for any of it when I deposited it. They told me that it would be held from 9/11 to 9/18...being available on 9/18. I had to even sign a paper stating that this information and acknowledged it. It is still being held. I waited on hold for an hour...no kidding...and they told me that because of where it came from, they revised the hold and it now would be even longer. This is hard enough as it is. I have had this same account with them for at least 12 years...12 YEARS! I will be closing my account and going somewhere else. This is sickening that they do this to people. I would NOT bank here! You will find better elsewhere that actually care (not talking about the man on the phone). Go somewhere else!

I went to the branch at Walmart Mesa Az((Baseline rd & Country Club Dr)). I couldn't get $13,000 that I needed, my account has way more than that. Definitely I will consider closing my account I hope someone from corporate reach out to give me an explanation. (( I have been costumer of this Bank for over 10 years

Came in today to pull out money at the tucson south location. There is about 40 people in line. While you have 1 to 2 workers actually helping people. The wait is about 45 minutes to be seen. This is crazy, you need to open up another location or get more help. Heres a picture of the line after about 20 minutes.

Honestly, I've never wrote a review ever in my life. I just feel as if it's doing to much. But this bank is HORRIBLE. They take hours to answer the phones, it was a time money was taken without my permission but the woman wouldn't dispute it. You can't add their card to Apple Pay. After 9 you can't transfer money, after 5pm any money from cash app wouldn't appear instantly, so you'll do better pressing the next day. It's just horrible.

Opened an account in April 23 with first convenience didn't really begin to use it until June 2023. I make well over $500 a day depending on the workload I take on high range from anything from social media to hair her make up for events. Started making deposits almost daily. Received a call from first convenience Aug 31 about my deposits and if this amounts of deposits was going to grow larger I would need to give them invoices, on Sept 5,6 days later with a 3day holiday weekend they closed my account even though I provided my dba Ymmat skin care and design. Which says it all! So I'm taking legal action reporting and going to the news media, and I want the recorded conversation heardbecause it's only right that especially the younger generation. And elderly community not do business with this low rated bank.
I definitely need a bank that's capable of handling the volume of money I receive.
Moving forward I will advocate against this bank at every event which I speak at I am also a chaplain for hospice and at independent living facilities. With speaking engagements from Texas to California. Will be going live with what's right for you and your Money!
Whatever you do, make sure you've researched your alternatives before choosing first convenience, first national banks and their products

Absolutely the worst bank. Horrible customer service they will not lift a finger to help you if you have have issues with with tour account. Make sire you never forget your passwords cause if you do that's it no help what's so ever... Best thing to do switch banks. This one sucks
