Flowers were delivered to my home today. While I understand that flower availability vary by location, my choice specifically states blue flowers (for sympathy per the description), that was an intentional choice on my part, and this bouquet had only white. It also stated it has 6 different flowers plus greenery, the delivered bouquet had 5 and ONE stem of green. Pictures included show my $100 sympathy bouquet received and what I ordered. I have to say that 1-800-FLOWERS services continue to disappoint.

This company had the audacity to change my order without reaching out to me first. They sent a half dead bouquet of tulips instead of my winter flower arrangement. I was extremely disappointed and I will never order from them again. They offered a partial refund, but I demanded a full one because how do they have the audacity to assume I would want to pay for something I did not order. That is ridiculous. They should be shut down. I wish I read the reviews prior to my order.

Decided to order myself flowers for my birthday, and, since it's been a hard year, I got myself the premium bouquet.

What arrived isn't worth half of what I paid. The website showed lillies and other beautiful flowers. What I got was already old roses, daisies, carnations and filler. A bouquet of roses would have been closer in terms of price.

I'm not exaggerating when I say the grocery store has better bouquets. In retrospect, I probably could've found a way to have them deliver, too.

Please do not count on 1800flowers to deliver you flowers/ plants. If you do you may be very disappointed. I had used them to deliver flowers for an employee's funeral, and they did not make the delivery. Now we have the reputation of our company as not caring about employee's and their families.
I work in one of the top ten largest cities in the U.S., and yet they could not find someone to deliver flowers?
Just take heed, and do not count on them.

A gift from a dear friend is dying due to being sent in far too small a pot. Called customer service.the offshore person's response to my saying " l received a gift" was to tell me "l'm sorry you received a gift."
No identification of plant came with it, 90% of buds fell off within 3 days, leaves are yellow and falling off and l am so sorry l will not have a living gift from my friend. What a waste and very poor customer service.

Tip for consumers:
Do not order from 1-800-FLOWERS. The customers orders in good faith not knowing what the recipient receives. Also expensive for the plant that dies anyway.

Ordered Irises & Tulips for my wife's office for our anniversary, arrived budded and she put in water. Irises faded overnight and Tulips never opened. Do not waste your time ordering from this company. Best I could get was a 50% refund

Ordered some flowers to be delivered to my boss when his Mother passed away. Flowers were to be delivered on Friday. Got a delivery confirmation but no flowers. Said would deliver again but never did. Said would give a refund but money was transfered out of my account. Went from pending to posted. So I paid $62 for nothing and looks like not getting money back. Damn. Gave 1 star because you cant give 0

I ordered 8 days ago. Called yesterday and they did not know why Shari's Berries were not delivered last week. They never contacted me. They said they would delivery by today. Today went by and I called again and now they say they cannot deliver at all as they have no one to deliver. I, again, had to call and track down my order. I live in a middle size town in PA so there is no reason why it could not be delivered. Will never use them again. Terrible customer service.

Tip for consumers:
They do not follow up with orders and I had to spend 1 hour over 2 days tracking my order down only to be told that they could not deliver. Embarrassing.

I ordered/paid for flowers nearly 2 moths ago. They were scheduled to arrive 12/29. They ever showed up. I spent hours on the phone and using the live chat option to find a solution. My order was delayed to 1/3/24. Today I tried to look at the tracking info and my order could not even be found. After spending yet another infuriating hour working with customer service I am told my order has been pushed to 1/6/24. This is the worst customer service I have ever experienced. It almost seems like they are trying to be incompetent at this point. Unless you hate yourself an enjoy wasting time and money order from someone else.

Over the years I've had multiple delivery issues (wrong address, left out in weather without even ringing the bell). Each time I'd go through the hassle of working with customer service to get it right the second time. Today I finally lost my cool. Birthday bouquet with vase for my mother, left outside garage door in the freezing cold by FedEx in two boxes. Flowers all dead. Anyone who reads this I am begging you for your own sanity - go direct to the florist and don't use 1800flowers.

My boyfriend sent me roses for Valentine's day, and the second they arrived the stems were wilted, all petals were falling off and even the bulbs of the flowers were crispy and falling off whole. I understand sometimes this happens, but now have seen numerous tiktoks of flowers they received from the company also in the same condition. Asking for a credit or refund for my boyfriend was hopeless as their support chat stopped chatting with us after offering a replacement. I'm not one to place bad reviews, but please support your local businesses rather than one who does not care for customers or quality of their products.

I place an order for february 14 and never arrived, they don't contact me, I chat with then at 8 pm and said they are unable to delivery My order, that is incredible, was My first and last time.

Many years ago I ordered flowers for my wife on her birthday. When 8pm came around, which was the latest time I was given for it to be delivered, she did not receive her flowers. I had to call 1-800-flowers to find out what happened. They apologized and said they would have to be delivered the next day. I did not like this because it was the day after her birthday, which defeated the purpose. I did not use 1-800-flowers for many years because of this experience.

Fast forward many years later to Feb 14,2024. I decided to give 1-800-flowers another chance. I saw an ad for same day delivery for Valentine's Day. I was planning on picking up flowers for my wife, but when I saw the ad I figured I would try this route because of the same day delivery ad. Later that day I received a call saying that the flowers would not be able to be delivered that day due to so many orders the flower shop received. They offered to deliver the flowers the next day, and again even though it was the day after and defeated the purpose of having them delivered on Valentine's Day I agreed. On Feb 15,2024 I received another call from 1-800-flowers saying that the flowers could not be delivered on Feb 15,2024 for the same reason. Now it would have to be delivered on Feb 16,2024. My thought is, do not post an ad for same day delivery unless it can be accomplished or find a vendor that can accomplish this. Because this happened many years ago and happened many years later, I will NEVER use 1-800-flowers EVER again. I also would NEVER recommend anyone using them.

Do not advertise if it cannot happen.

I will NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. They are liars and thieves. Two years in a row I have went thru the same issues for my Mom bday. I will stick with Sherri berries and edible arrangement. Who deliver fast n prompt n are ver insightful n helpful. 1800 flowers SUCK. Horrible customer service and order delivers. I wish I never trusted $#*! THEY SAY OR SID AS THEY STEAL MY MONEY N MY WORD. My mom birthday has been a bust. Two years in a row. Thanks to them. Her name. My name was spelt wrong in the process

I received flowers as a gift 2/14/2024 and the flowers are terrible. Damaged. 1800 has poor quality flowers the flowers are delivered in poor condition. It is clearly the fault of 1800 flowers not the delivery person! I hope that my friend can get a full refund. I called 1800 flowers to report the issue and their customer service is just as poor.

Tried to order gift items. Cart showed cost, plus zero shipping because I had purchased Celebration Passport for no shipping charge. Plus taxes. But no option to enter a Promo Code. Spent an hour with customer service agent who could not help, but who suggested I place the order at full price and he would manually modify the order to add the Promo Code. So I hit Purchase button, and ONLY THEN did the Promo Code option appear. How STUPID. You think you are going to lose that option if you hit Purchase, so you don't. Instead you waste an hour on phone with an agent who doesn't even know something so basic as that is when the Promo Code option will appear. This check-out procedure makes no sense. It is illogical and annoying. There are competitors out there who don't waste their customers' time! Buy through them.

I've ordered from this company twice now and both times they have gotten my order wrong. Now they won't even contact me back. I ordered a large arrangement of flowers and got a small to a medium one. Over charging isn't right! As you can see the one I ordered is smaller than the one that was received

They double dipped my credit for one order. My credit card company caught the fraud and alerted me on. I called the company and told them. They said two of the 3 charges was a preauthorization charge and the 3rd charge was for the order. All in all I had a double charge showing up on my card. The credit card company blocked two charges. The company tried to deny charging me double. Facts are facts as there was a double charge on my credit card. DO NOT ever use this dishonest company. Very poor English too.

As an FYI, we ordered Mother's Day flowers from 1800flowers based on hearing their advertisements on multiple conservative talk radio hosts shows. To say we are disappointed is a huge understatement. We ordered flowers for my elderly mother who lives across the country for Mother's Day only to be called at 6 PM local time (8 PM where she lives) to cancel my order the night before because they could not find someone to deliver the flowers. That is unbelievable that you would wait until it is too late to make alternate arrangements. I would never use them again as they're AWFUL.

My brother sent an arrangement for my birthday and they said they would have it "re-delivered"
I was in the front yard all day doing yard work and nobody ever showed! He called and they said they tried to deliver it but will try to re-deliver! Don't they realize that most people nowadays have cameras too? I have nothing on my camera of a supposed flower delivery! Now they have to re-deliver? Liars!
Attempted delivery was what was actually said!

Placed an order that they said was delivered but was not. The recipient had a front door cam and no delivery even showed up. All they wanted to do was give me a 20 dollar future credit and send 4 days later. Finally afterc30 minutes with a chat associate and offering a generic looking cheap arrangement they gave a full refund. Use another service if possible

We were very disappointed in the flower plant we recieved. We ordered a gardinia bonzi and on the picture it showed many flowers. The plant we received had no flowers and not even any buds. When we called and complained the person was not at all helpful. Again.

My family member died yesterday so what do I think the best thing to do is, yea send flowers. I did this in the morning, paid extra 20.00 to get it to them same day. I get an email from 1800flowers at around 9 p. M they could not deliver the flowers. I was very angry and frustrated but you know what, they still need the flowers. I spend more time, by the end of the call they are pretty much no flowers to send because they are all delivered by the florist. I don't blame the rep, but this should be clearly mentioned on their website before someone orders and waste valuable minutes to try and console a family member.

As with many of the other reviewers here, my experience was terrible. No delivery, many excuses, multiple phone calls, multiple emails - all of which were littered with misinformation. Promised a refund. No refund. Promised a refund within 7 business days. No refund. Promised a refund in 30-45 business days... realized at that point that this company is nothing more than a scam. Paid with PayPal so might actually get a refund in time but not holding my breath. If it isn't already too late, please do not use this company.
